With the Nissan Spec V '09, the lowest weight i can get it to is 1345, no lower. How could i bring down the weight to 1320KG?
Nissan GT-R specV '09 will only go down to 1345kg. GTLM can use the car but the lightest it will go is 1345kg. It is still very fast even at that weight. 25kg is like having a 5 year old sitting in the back seat. GTD will still use it at 1390kgWith the Nissan Spec V '09, the lowest weight i can get it to is 1345, no lower. How could i bring down the weight to 1320KG?

1.Nurburgring GP/F 2. Mount Panarama 3.? 4. Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. So far so good.Well i guess its time for track selection. I took pick #1 and pick #4. Pick #1 is Nurbergring F1 . Pick #4 is Laguna Seca.
Like Tokyo R246 reverse? It'd be cool to have a city track
Absolutely not. That's what the pre-season races are all about. We all can run these cars around a track and compare times all day long. How they mesh together on race night is something totally different. After this Friday's pre-season you should have a better handle on your car choice. Jake, as a reminder, you have until this Saturday night to make your official track picks.I am going to try out another car for the testing on the 6th.
Class: GTLM
Car: Nissan Skyline GT-R Spec II Nur (R34) '02
Body color: GT6 Chrome 007
Rim color: Merlot Red
Number: 20
As for the tracks, i pick
1. Tokyo R246 Reverse
2. Madrid
3. Rome Reverse
4. London
Edit: Is their a limit to how many cars i can test out for the test night, if not my others would be
Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (C7) '14, Mercedes Benz SLR Mclaren '09, Nissan GT-R Spec V '09
We actually have been contemplating moving to race cars for season 5. I'd like to move this to GT3 class cars however it's too close to season 4 to make every one buy a car and test. We were testing BoP settings using street cars just for the lack of the aero crutch. It's much harder to tune with only mechanical grip. I feel that it is only going to help every one here when we go to real race cars. Tuning for tire wear is vital but, proper driving technique reigns supreme here for tire wear. The one thing that I did notice is a problem on our end was last season's lack of communication on event times pertaining to what time of day we ran on time sensitive tracks ie. the difference in grip on Motegei at night with RS tires is like running there at 12:00 noon on SS. Accuracy for tuning goes out the window in that situation and I take full responsibility. From now on all tracks will be run at the game specific times to avoid this confusion unless it's clearly specified. I'm no stranger to tuning by ANY stretch of the imagination. Good tire wear is there. You just have to find it.Sorry for missing the last round, after the 2nd round knowing the front tires were just going to fall off no matter what I did with the setup gave me no motivation to test.
Just a recommendation, homologate actual racing cars instead of street cars tuned to be racing cars. The inability to add front downforce made it a nightmare to get a setup that didn't understeer constantly and destroy the front tires. It would most likely draw more series interest as well
