Welcome to the SNAIL [GT1 Championship] Series

We represent the tuning series of the biggest console based sim racing league in the world.
We are a racing group that racing GT500 Super GT cars with two different divisions Pro and Pro-Am with the faster being in the Pro rank.
We also have Specs for both divisions to keep them as equal as possible and ensure competitive racing for the entire season.

Race Format

We will race every Friday at 9:30 PM EST, with the room opening at around 8:30 PM EST.
Each night will consist of one 50 minute timed races at one track.
There will be a 10 Minutes of qualifying for the race.

Prizes

A prize is awarded at the end of the season for the Pro and Pro-Am Champions to be able to choose the tracks for the next season and will be able to wear the #1 on their number plate with your previous number retired until you are beat by someone else for thru championship.

Rules

We expect all drivers to follow our S.N.A.I.L. OLR and pursue good racecraft at all times
It can be summed up in one simple 'Golden Rule' of motorsports:
It is the responsibility of the overtaking driver, meaning the car that is attempting to execute the pass, to make sure that the pass is made cleanly and incident free.
If you don't agree with this rule or don't think it applies to you, this is not the league for you.

Incident Reports

If at anytime during race night you feel that you have been victim of a race incident please PM myself, @euclid58, @reigninblood, @Chris Kelley, and the person who "caused" the incident as well.
We will look at the replay and enforce action it we feel there needs to be one.

How To Join US

Step 1: Post a request to join (Don't PM me, just post in this thread)
Step 2: Watch for a reply to your request post and follow the instructions that we will provide.
Step 3: Send a Friend Request to me on PSN and what for an invite to the club.
Step 4: Purchase the car you will be racing for the current season we are in.
Step 5: Get an oil change for the cars and match the specs for the division you are in.

Pro and Pro-Am

We will be running 2 different spec cars.
The Pro class which will be for the faster drivers and Pro-Am which will be for the slower of many people.
We will do this to get the variety in our series and have a bit of a challenge for the two classes.
If you are a part of SNAIL D1-D3 will race in the Pro class. D4-D8 will race in the Pro-Am class.
If you are not a part of SNAIL you will run a Time Trial on Ascari Full Track w/ the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 '11.
Your performance on that TT will determine you class.

Yes it is a spec car that it will automatically lend you that car for the time trial.
