Points system I'm thinking of using the F1 style points:
1st=16 2nd=14 3rd=12 4th=10 5th=8 6th=6 7th=4 8=3 9=2 10=1 11=0
Extra point for pole position
Thoughts?

Enjoyed the race again, as always. Endurance events are certainly teachable "laps" - setting pace, and trying to calculate the correct Fuel Loads ......... DUH.

Birdie, i like that suggestion. To have a point system in this series that runs like F1 where the drivers are only 2 points difference from each other.

What's the tires for street cars, sports soft?

We are working on a new tire workings to add more strategy to pitting any thing and everything to do with GT1 is up for debate!
Purposed tire specs RS RH*, RS RM*, SS SH*, SS SM* (* must be used a minimum 10 laps) OR just stick to one compound!

Ok, and the tires like that sound good because I was doing me some testing today and the RH have plenty of grip so RS seems like overkill at this point.

Edit: I would like to through in my 2¢ on the race itself. If we set a certain number of laps that the RH must be ran on should we change from a 50 minute race to lap race?

No! Unless your going to figure out the length of every race to a certain standard.

The chance people are going to short pit to 1 or 2 laps wouldn't seem feasible to me. Even if you gain at most what 2 seconds per lap on the RM's your still losing 20 to 25 sec. per pit stop!

Ah I see now you bring up a good point, but still we should probably have some distance requirement for RH. At least that what I was thinking.

No distant restriction. Just require a compund change in the race regulations.

Figure out how long they last on le sarthe or nurb and their is your minimum laps

Will the Pro/Pro-Am street cars be limited to the 600hp etc indicated on Page 1? Or is that the focus of the testing?
