Multi-monitor support in GT6?

Got everything setup tonight, working great. I used a screen border width of 3, image skew (or whatever it's called) of 40 and angle of view (or whatever the third one is called) of 100. I have my side monitors set slightly in front of the center monitor so the bezels overlap and I basically only have on bezel width. Here's some pics and vids.

very well, on a more serious note, couldn't one digital copy of the game be used on all 3 systems? Most things on the PSN Store can be downloaded to 5 PS3s... edit: I thought
Or is this a special case where you can only have digital GT6 on two systems per account?

It only allows two. I couldn't even have all three consoles authorized for purchases on my account.

GT6 in multimonitor mode is unbelievable, racing around Bathurst in cockpit view, blasting down Conrod Straight while looking out the side window with the sun slowly setting at dusk is magical.
Also with the added advantage of seeing all the dash and mirrors from your driving position, I finally decided to put the gear shift on the right when racing American cars and after a few laps my left hand stopped flinching every time I wanted to change gears and I was having a great time.
One problem I have noticed is that different cars cockpit views affect the framerate more than others, which I never noticed without multi screen.

@BrandonW77, your replay video looks awesome!!

Forza never provided replay across three screens. When switched to replay camera view it simply repeated the same image on all three.

This extended view is a terrific step upward! :D

Which cars seem to be effected the most? In general, cockpit view makes framerate suffer but I could see how some cars might suffer more than others. I've only driven a couple cars with multi-monitors so far so I haven't noticed any issue yet.

GT5 showed replays on all three as well. It's epic, makes watching replays even more enjoyable. Videos and pics don't do any of it justice, it has to be experienced to fully understand how it enhances the enjoyment of the game, literally a game changer. Three days ago I was kinda down on the game and complaining about some of the issues with bugs and instability...............I've completely forgotten about all of that now. 👍

Anxious to hear from as many users as possible how GT6 multi-monitor performs in multiplayer!

I jumped into a room last night, only had time for one quick race but everything seemed to run smoothly and I didn't notice any issues. I never noticed any in GT5 but I know a few other people had some problems. In nearly 2 years of use on GT5, done mostly online, I never had any issues.

The Amuse NISMO 380RS Super Leggera is pretty choppy even at 720p and sharpen, but the C7 Corvette cockpit runs smooth as.
The Leggera with all those dials maybe the problem?

That would be my guess. The more that's going on in the cockpit, the more memory required and the worse the frame rate. I'd guess the semi-premium interiors like the Caterham, FGT, Prowler, etc. would have the best frame rate in cockpit view because they're dials and such don't function and require no extra memory. Well, the blacked out standard interiors would have the best frame rate since there is no detail at all, but they don't look the best. The three cars I listed above probably have some of the best interior views in the game for multi-monitor joy. 👍

Do the client PS3s need to be signed in with a PSN ID?

I'm assuming not, but I don't want a surprise later today!

Nope. They can be logged in as long as they're on different accounts but they don't need to be. They all need to be plugged into the same router though.

So do I need to create two new PSN accounts in order to get the game updates?

I understand about them being on the same router. I have a 5 port switch that I used with Forza

No, you can log one into your main account to download the update. Then log out and log another machine into your account and download the update. Then when you're racing just don't have those two machines logged on at all, only your main PS3 will be logged in. 👍

I just nailed down triple screen settings for my setup. I am using 3 32 inch Samsung TV's for monitors.

Monitor layout: 3 x 1

Monitor frame border: 2 (this is the % of border to screen)

Angle of screen curvature: 80 (this is suppose to be the angle of both side screens from the center screen added together, which for me would be around 130 degrees, but 80 looks good to me.)

Adjust angle of view: 100 (this is how far away from the dashboard you are placed in game, 50 being grandma style right over the wheel and 100 being the widest field of view)

I will some pictures if anyone is interested and I hope this helps. Props to Brandon for his setup because it helped me tune mine in.

I'd love to see how those 32inchers look. I've been playing on my 32" until we got the multi-monitor update because one 23" monitor was just too small and felt claustrophobic. Having all three 23inchers is better but still feels small. I'm strongly considering getting 2 more 32inchers which, I think, would be a massive improvement over my current setup for about $300usd or less.

Thanks for the report about online. Hope to hear about more successful reports from various users before I decide to pull the trigger on 2 more PS3's. Already have Forza and PC triple screen.

So are you using a GT6 disc on your host PS3 and the PSN GT6 version on your clients?

Here they are

I put my middle screen in front of the side screens to reduce the double bezel effect.
I will get some shots with the game running an a few hours.
