R Ercole - I didn't actually use a steadycam as I wanted to travel light. I was using a Panasonic GH2 HDSLR and a Manfrotto MonoPod. On the track I used a GoPro Hero2.
Mr Evil - Lap ticket at the 'Ring is 26 Euro and the VW Scirocco rental from Rent Race Car was 649 euro for 6 laps (price includes lap tickets). RRC has many different cars and packages so please check out their website at http://www.rentracecar.com/
Please share the video if you'd like and spread the word about the ongoing troubles with the track and the German government.
