OI I have the US collection as you can see.. It's just a BOX art, and nothing special... I bought two, one to replay original MGS , and one to never open..
In US version, it comes with MGS1, MGS2 Subsistence, and MGS3 Subsistence, but 3rd game does not have 2 discs.. Does the JP version comes with 2 discs?

this is not game , just dvd for the gameplay from the begning to the end with all trailer , i have the Us ver and Japanese you can see it in the first post ^^ .

but 3rd game does not have 2 discs.

the collector just one disk , mgs3s 2 disk for US and 3 for the limited , and the Japanese. is also 3 disk .

So recently I took all the toys from my walls. I cover them with plastic bags, and put the toys in two boxes. And now stored in the closet. So no dust, high humidity or anything else like that will destroy them with next 10-20 years. Or whenever the Prices and Demand Goes super high.

Any predictions guys? When you think it will be great time to sell them? Or keep them till I die? Sure I love my MGS games and the cool stuff. But making some money in the future wont hurt?

I think the original MGS games (catridge) will be the ones worth the money. But from what I have seen on these programs, it is not about 1 or 2 items that makes them appealing. it is the whole collection. And being as you have a massive collection. somebody in the future would probably love to buy such a complete collection in one hit. the fact that you even have the magazines from release, is enougher excelent bonus.

And yes you are right, I would have to sell the WHOLE collection. I think I am still missing a couple of MGS2 toys. I also have couple variations of same figure of the 1st game toys. Some came in different years had different setup for characters nothing major, but it was limited .

Yes That NES game will be worth a lot. Still Original Package, as well I got nice case for it so it will withstand for long long time . I also think most expensive toys that I will sell will be the Snake/Meryl in one box, and the limited camo camouflaged toys.


Now I need to get nice toys from 4th game. And that 12 inch action figure from 3rd.

O_O my heart dropped just looking at your collection, i dont have much money to start a collection, i just save up and most of my money ends with guitar stuffs.

Yeah it cost me and my brother some $$$ but we will check prices on 30th, 40th and 50th MGS anniversary and then try to sell it..
It would be nice to have the PS3 signed by the creator, If only he came to US game show, I know I could make him sign the PS3 when I come to him, show it, and give him a marker...

Guitar stuff sounds good too, everyone needs some kind of hobby. Sure you might spend some savings on some silly things, but hey in the future they are expensive in kept in good condition. SO who knows, just from PS3 alone I might buy a good car out of it if I get luck ; ) But who knows..
I remeber Xbox 360 Simpsons edition was sold for over 20,000 USD , so why not MGS4 PS3 never open one ; )

PS Lately I have not buy anything related to MGS series..
Saving up for school, PS3 SLIM, and misc stuff I need for every day life.
