Maybe Rally cars like the Impreza WRC or my favorite, the Escort Rally Car.

Well, guys,i've been talking to jujunosuke for months, and i have no result.:indiff:
The thing is-I'm 3D modeller and i want to make cars for Redline racing.
I'm veeery experienced,i've been making models for years,i have a huge library, and i sent him thousands of renders of cars.Actually,i make environment and other stuff too,but jujunosuke says, that he doesn't need cars right now.
That's sad story, because i want to work for FREE and bring AWESOME cars into this AWESOME game.
Please, like this post if you agree, that i should make cars for the game:)👍
I can make all requests (i actually looked up for them, and some of them are ready and waiting)
Look at theese beautiful cars, they should become a part of a game!:)
I make racing,convertible,rare,all sorts of cars!

I really do. Especially the NASCAR Car! @jujunosuke Get this guy on the RR Team!

Well, if @ferrari gt's models are compatible with RR, and the two of them can agree on which cars are to be included and who'll model them without too much of a quality difference, the way I see it, it would be a win/win situation. I mean, it can take some pressure of Juju's shoulders after all :)

@ferrari gt showed me his damage model, and other finished models...

Damn.....
Ferrari GT why are you not listening ?
Would you seriously stop harassing me ?

Again again and again...
1st, WE DO NOT NEED HELP IN THE CAR DEPARTMENT as i told you millions times on private messages...

2nd I am sorry but when i compare the quality of your 3d Renders with the quality and quantity of the models you show to me, i find it very suspicious.
You admitted yourself that 30% of you cars production was car ripped from other games...
I am sorry but its enough for me to not trust you at all.

3rd Crying to get attention from other members and let them think that i am the bad guy because i don't want to work with you is just the best option to never work with me.

Now please, respect me and go find another team...

I'm not gonna try to defend either side, nor do I want to sit in the middle like a louse waiting to be crushed by two nails, but allow me to bring in my point of view again.

1: There's not really much more to say than when it's Juju's project, he's the one in charge of things, including the "staff". In a company, the boss/CEO decides who to hire and who to fire, not the average cleaner. No offence.

2: I could understand it if one or two models were "borrowed" in order to gain some insight into the world of 3d modelling (building up the models, adding stuff to them etc.), but if what you're saying is true (about the 30% being ripped from other games), that might be a little much, not to say claiming it's your own work (not sure if any of those shown to the public are ripped, I admit that based on the renders, those look quite nice)..

3: ...

I think I'll just go back to researching for a little while, too much politics for my brain to function correctly

Okay,here we go:
This was the only way to make you talk, because you didn't listened to me,you was only thinking about "don't trust him"
I'm not haunting you,but you wouldn't find anybody, who will work for free like me.(and persistent)
now by your "points"
1st
mabye, but i efforted not only cars for you,i was making environmental stuff, buildings e.t.c.
and also i showed, how i can make it better.

2nd
What suspicious you can find in a model?i'm sending just what i rendered.
As i told you,30% of my cars are ripped from other games,BUT they are REMASTERED in geometry and textures,so they don't have anything simmiliar to their originals.(as a proof i sent yoou rbx2010 made by me from scrap photos for the famous gta-modding site)
And how can you tell me then that 30% is "too much" when you didn't made any cars at all,and just remapped UV's?
That's strange for me,and 70% of my handmade cars is just nothing between 30% of remasters in your mind.
And mabye you forgot,so i'll remind-I'm working with models for years.I have a huge experience, and i tottaly know what i'm talking about.
If you still don't trust me,i will show a geometry compilation of your cars.better not make me do that.

3rd
As i told before,it's only way to make you talk, and i'm not "crying",i'm telling the truth.
You're just trying to make an idiot of me.
I just want to be a friend with you and show to people my potential.:)
You told me to find other guy.I found him-CL9.DEV.🤬
This rat just stealen my huge work after all,so i turned back to you, because i don't lie to you and i TRUST you.👍

When you're ignoring me or telling me,that you can't trust me,it's more than just sad.

Let's get all the cards on the table now:

Redline Racing is in essence @jujunosuke's project.
@ferrari gt has been involved with modelling 3d objects for a long time and volunteers to help out.
The same person have ripped then remastered 30% of his creations (no way in heck I could've known that when I wrote my previous comment).

Am I wrong if I assume that this "ripmastering" thing is what's causing the most trouble?

Seems like there's new "evidence" dropping every post.

With the new evidence produced taken into account, I'm thinking this could be the most peaceful solution:

You guys work together in the car department for a week, in which @ferrari gt will display some of his non-ripped models (from scratch) and @jujunosuke performs the initial quality tests. (This next part is optional) You could then release a "beta" with a few cars from both of you for the community to try out and "rate".

This way, there's five scenarios:

1: This solution is dropped on the floor, killed by fire or whatever.
2: @ferrari gt proves his/her worth but is rejected with a catchphrase like "you shouldn't waste your time on an indie developer, I heard this major company is looking for modellers". At least something in a positive tone.
3: @ferrari gt proves his/her worth and is accepted as "Modelling assistant" or something along the lines of that.
4: @ferrari gt fails to prove his/her worth and is rejected in a polite tone.
5: @ferrari gt fails to prove his/her worth and is kicked out with a catchphrase along the lines of "..AND DON'T YOU EVER COME BACK!!"

I don't really think either of us are interested in this thread getting locked due to flame wars.. :(

Of course i can and want to work with jujunosuke, but "hell no" he wants to work with me and get a new car.
because i'm a officious,stubborn and "non-trustable" person.

The problems with cars i sent him are may be caused by "normalisation" type.he just didn't tell me about it.
If jujunosuke really wants it after all,i can leave him alone and spend a month to learn about unity 3d and create game by myself.

And how can you tell me then that 30% is "too much" when you didn't made any cars at all,and just remapped UV's?
Yeah, another lie, go tell that to my partner he will love you.

Great, stealing models from other games is not enough for you, you want to steal our work as well ?

Thats too much disrespect for the hard work we did...

Rallymorten, i already asked him politely to find another team numerous times in our private conversations.
The history of private messages can prove that.

Now i really would like him to understand...

Okay, if you still don't trust me,I leave you.
But don't ask me for help then in the future.
Don't worry about your game,I don't need midpoly cars and I have done better models of your cars 2 years before, and I always can make a track in bob's builder.
You can now sleep well.
I hope your dream comed true.

Guys, calm down. @ferrari gt you are great, fantastic even. But in the end it's all up to @jujunosuke as to if you can join...

Personally, i think GT on rr would be great, but if juju doesn't want you on the team... Well there's not much more you can do...

Okay, if you still don't trust me,I leave you.
Its not only this, remember, during our private conversation i also said that i am not alone working on the project and my partner decide about everything related to cars at the moment.
And i told you that he does not want to have an additional partner because that will add confusion in our team.

I think i have an interesting solution.
We surely can not accept you as a core member for all the obvious reasons i mentioned earlier.
Being a core member is a high responsibility task and we prefer to not have someone who will interfere in our workflow and strategy.

HOWEVER i think it would be a nice idea to implement MODDING for the PC version.
If i develop a very simple system to import your models inside the Redline engine, you could release any car you want in the future.

That would be great for everyone.

That sounds awesome, seeing that there is an old nascar game that is 10+ years old and is still updated regularly with the new cars and series because of being modable. You can't go wrong with that. 👍

GameData → Cars, anyone? Ah, the "intestine" of games used to be so easy to figure out..

If it'll be possible to import mods easily, it does give modders the chance to "show off", and who knows? One of the groups that used to mod Richard Burns Rally is making their very own game now. Except maybe RR modders, at a later point, could end up in RR, again, if they get the green light from @jujunosuke. Just saying, a waste of talent is a waste :)

Yep, i am working actively on it right now.
Photo Mode is not so hard to develop but Replay feature is.
Without Replay mode, there is not possible Photo mode right ?.

So, i am working Hard on both of these features for the next Build.
Stay tunned :)
Great news. YouTube vids... YouTube vids everywhere. :)

Yep, i can't wait to finish that replay mode because i can't wait to see how you guys perform on time attack hehe.

Actually there is a funny story i have to tell.

- I developed this game i know exactly how the cars behave because i made the car physics etc,
so, i am supposed to know every tricks about the game right ?

- Plus i constantly tested the cars behaviors so i am by far the guy who spend the most time playing RR right ?

- So i should be the guy who is doing the best lap time ever with all cars right ?
NO WRONG! ^^

If you look at the website under the Ranking section, there is one guy that is almost 1st everywhere!
Damn this guy beat my best time by 1 or 2 seconds even with my favorite car after trying 20 laps in a row!!!

That is a very good thing actually because that mean that i am not in control of my game anymore.
Players are, and thats the best thing ever for a game developer.

That is why i absolutely need to get that replay feature working so this guy could teach me how to play my own game ^^

In case you wonder, the "track" is the piece of "road" you're supposed to stick to. If you go outside the "tarmac", you'll lose "grip" and have no "control" over your car's "movements". That is, unless you're driving a McLaren, right @Flex0r?

Correctamundo, McLarens don't care about what underground they move on, as long as they can reach the juicy pale midlife crisis brits.

How many of these are from Forza?

Jujunosuke,if you're going to make an importing tool, how would it look like?
I have no idea how your game does saves data and e.t.c.,but it would be cool to have a visual system for importing car in the game and share the saved one's.
I mean, for example,i put everything in game's directory in a folder, then in the game i select the folder, and it shows me the car's body, then i take and place front wheels(at the same time) at their positions and then-the same with back wheels:)
then you could write down some specs and name of a car and save it.that would be AWESOME:tup:
and can you make tyres which will stick to the road a bit more?:)

There's no cars from forza, but if you want,i can show you mclaren F1 i tried to rip.

Oooooh, depth of picture would be great:drool:

Actually, all this McLaren-gone-AWOL paired with a bit of Old-vs-new (GT6, heck, nearly all races in GT6. And the "1 lap magic" from GT4  ), Juiced 2, NFS Carbon and, perhaps in particular, Top Gear, gave me two ideas for "seasonal events". Caught the ideas already? No? Simple, really.

1: In this idea, it's two cars lining up against each other - a more powerful supercar vs. a less powerful "non-supercar". The name of the game here is that in the first round, you'll pilot the slow car. What you need to do is get the most out of your headstart (which is based on various criteria) and manage to avoid being overtaken by the supercar for as long as possible (craching it results in instant DSQ). You'll then score one point for every full second you're succesfully defending. In the second round, you take the wheel of the supercar. In this round, you're trying to overtake the slow car, still without making contact. For every second you're behind, you lose one point. For the sake of continuity, the points start adding up/being removed the moment the slow car starts.

2: Well, look at the Top Gear video or "1 Lap Magic/Old vs. New" from GT4/6. X (preferably between 2 and 6) cars (potentially from the same manufacturer) from different eras and with different performance levels line up on the grid, with the slowest car starting in first, and the fastest starting last. They'll then be given a handicap based on their performance level, and the objective is for you to eliminate the handicap and win the race. Can't be much more straight-forward than this :)

@jujunosuke, the Master of Redline Racing, can you tell us if either of these ideas could be possible once AI/online is implemented? It would be such a blast to do the last one with GTP members and recording, I predict a lot of epic moments :D
