Motegi DLC Pack REQUIRED to participate!​

Due to the fact I will be attending the GT Academy USA National Finals in San Diego, I am boarding myself in the house this weekend to help save money for the trip. So to keep myself entertained I will be running this "Spot Championship" on Saturday.

This Spot Championship will consist of 4 races, each around 30 minutes in length with a required pit stop somewhere in the middle. A 1-Hour separation will be given between each race that can be used to practice or as a break. Points will be tallied for each race with a championship winner announced at the end.

Cars will be run with the specs given below, and ABS will be turned OFF. If you are new to running a car with no ABS, the FR-S is a really easy car to learn it on and with low brake balance settings will rarely lock up. I'd go so far as to say that you'll barely know it's not there. Don't be afraid to try it!

Race Format:​

Practice - 50 minutes | Starts once track is loaded following previous race.

• Settings adjustment allowed
• Practice times may be shortened to keep races on schedule

Qualifying - 20 minutes | Starts after track reset from practice.

• Settings adjustment allowed BEFORE entering track
• Once you enter track, you are NOT allowed to leave
• TWO tires on track at all times
• When time ends, I will instruct you to enter pit road
• On pit road, press the Pause button and WAIT
• Exit track only when instructed to

Grid - 10 minutes | Starts after track reset from Qualifying.

• Settings adjustment allowed BEFORE entering track
• Only enter track when your name has been called
• Once you enter track, you are NOT allowed to leave
• Line up on track single file
• Host will start the race when everyone is in line
• NO HORNS!

Race - 30 minutes | Starts immediately after grid procedure.

• Standing start WITH false check
• Be careful entering Turn 1
• Mid-race pit stop REQUIRED
• Be courteous to other drivers
• Wrecking other drivers will NOT be tolerated
• HAVE FUN!

You can run only 1 if you want. Doesn't really matter. But if we fail to get ~6-8 cars for each race I may just cancel it all together.

This will also be the last series I run in GT5.

I'm interested just not sure how many of the races I can do. Motegi is the one I most want to do but worst time for me.

This isn't getting much interest anyway and if we fail to get a nice size grid by the time Saturday gets here, then I'm going to cancel it. Really wanted this to take off as it's the last GT5 series I will run.

I was thinking about ditching Laguna Seca because this car likes to get really tail happy when the rear suspension is compressed in high G-load corners. Could just replace it with Motegi and cut off one race, making it a 4 race championship.
