Danica outranks Jeff.

Great run so far by Hornish in the #22. Seriously impressed by him, since he took over that ride.

Danica isn't even on HMS. Gordon is done. I have no idea how they miss THAT badly on a set-up. Odds are they won't even switch around the team because the switches made helped who counts (Jr.)

I honestly don't get why the hell they wouldn't focus on Gordon when he is the guy who needs help the most. I mean, I know that Johnson won 5 cups in a row, and that Junior is the most popular driver, but it's total BS to neglect Gordon, especially with The Chase on the line. As a matter of fact, they focus more on Kahne than Gordon!

Most things aren't Jeff's fault, it's either;

A. Other drivers being extremely aggressive against Jeff.
B. Mechanical failures.
C. Lack of proper setup.

I hope Joonya wins the championship so he can retire and Hendrick actually puts resources into the 24 team again.

Jeff's retirement will be before Joonya's.

It's almost like they're telling him to move on...
A bit ridiculous considering what he's done for the team.

What has he done for them lately?

Well, he got screwed so many times out of a win. That's the sad part. He's not producing the results and he's pretty much riding out his contract.

Jeff still has the potential to win another championship. His performances have been very impressive, but like you said, he got screwed over so many times that it's almost laughable.

And he has a lifetime contract with HMS.

According to twitter they put Jeff's teammates setup on his car. Oh boy!

Don't get too excited. Setups are almost always geared towards the driver's preference.

Hoping for a monsoon, a tidal wave. Anything at this point to push off the race until Sunday.

I'm starting to believe Hendrick Motorsports doesn't give a s*** about Gordon no more!

Or Gordon has lost his drive, or many other things (his RP luck is terrible now and his pit crew has to be one of the worst out of the major teams).

Meh, it's alright if the race ends under rain..
'cause Denny's in first, anyways. :sly: I doubt it will end in rain, though.

It may knowing NASCAR may just want to finish it tonight under all circumstances.

It'll move to tomorrow, the race needs to be half-way to be called official.

May I ask why that may be so?
I'm not sure how long they'll wait to get to the green.

Its been awhile since they did hold off a race until Sunday.

Also, if they are going after viewers they will get decimated unless they do it at 10 AM tomorrow.

From what I've seen with other races, NASCAR makes the call sometime after midnight local time. IIRC, there's cases where they're ordinances that won't allow races to go past a certain time because of noise.

Funny how Ray and Rusty agreed that they would have made totally different changes than Alan.
