Denny looked pretty aggressive just after the restart with seven laps to go, but IMHO he was racing hard - Martinsville-style. I'm sure Crafton wasn't happy, but getting up high cost him the gap. Piquet raced like the bomb; wonder what would have happened if we had six more laps to go. Denny took off like a jackrabbit for the final few laps, though.

Hamlin with electrical issues. Car keeps coming on and off.

Edit: Finally quit on Hamlin. So much for Toyota reliability.

There goes my fantasy hope then. Damn you Toyota!!! Where is Kyle and Edwards?

Johnson wins 👍 👍, and BK does a very nice job of damage control 👍. This championship just got even more interesting.

It ain't over yet Johnson only has +2 points on Keselowski. Hamlin however is finished. Oh and Jimmie won the irrelevant manufacturers' championship for Chevy.

It's relevant enough to you to put it in your signature

Jimmie didn't have the car to beat but he just happened to be in the right place at the right time to hold off anyone. There were some impressive runs today by a few guys who I didn't expect so much like Brad, Bobby, and Aric. Overall I thought Vickers had a shot all day to win this which would have been pretty cool for him then Clint and then Jeff but Jimmie always was around the top 5.

Kurt would have finished top 5 I bet if he hadn't got turned around because he was top 10 most of the day before that which I hung out around their pit box.

Jeff Gordon had the car to beat, but his luck kept poking him in the eye. Jimmie had a good car, but it wasn't the best. He really drove the wheels off of that thing.

Great run by Bobby Labonte. Really impressed that he can still get up front. Now let's see him in some better equipment and he might be able to pick up a win.

Vickers did really good. Surprised he isn't racing full time for MWR next year. Would be nice for MWR to field a fourth car and have Vickers behind the wheel.

Despite his antics, I would still take Kurt Busch over Regan Smith any day of the week. He can still be a front runner even for a mid-tier team.

It might just depend on the team/situation then? Because so far what I have seen of Smith in Hendrick equipment proves that Regan is a better driver than the FRR equipment allowed him to be. Sometimes a change of scenery can do wonders for a driver. (same in regular sports, especially baseball)

That's a great point. When a driver gains enough experience with mid-tier teams with moderately strong equipment, the equipment starts to limit the driver from performing as good as he can really be. Then when they get to drive for a top-tier team, they start performing very well right off the bat.
