seriously am I the only person on this planet that runs longer than 5% races in nascar games?? Every single video I've seen on youtube are for races that are 12 laps or shorter lol

anyways I can confidently say this game is miles better than any product eutechnyx put out (not saying much I know)

kind of disappointing that the AI looks so easy, even on the hardest difficulty. but the AI looks racy and definitely not on rails. also nice to see they added an in game leaderboard on the hud

Back when I played NASCAR The Game Inside Line, and NASCAR '14, (before I got GT6) I used to do full length races...

I do 50% races. Anyway I'm thinking about going to the gamestop that's like 5 minutes away from me and ask can I buy the game a day early lol

This game is literally Dirt to Daytona with new car models and updated graphics. They even used the same exact lines that the spotters use in that game, albeit with a new voice actor.

Even for a new developer, it's very mediocre for a game in 2016.

Everyone wanted a remake of DtD. Welp, here it is.

I wouldn't mind it if the game simply took the Dirt to Daytona "feel" and built upon it, but this is a blatant copy-paste job. You can't take the same exact game from 14 years ago and just update the content to fit the current year, you need to keep a game or series fresh by adding new game mechanics or features which is crucial in a racing game, since the goal in every single one of them is to place first.

Yes, despite solely focusing on Sprint Cup they still did a decent job on career mode. Pit stops look good too despite being a couple seconds slower than the ones in real life. Those however are some of the very few things that makes this game an improvement from the last NASCAR game Monster Games developed.

At the end of the day, the AI, damage, online (so far), and career mode looks better than what ETX did. The things i just listed was things people kept complaining about in ETX games and now those things look improved. I'm pretty pretty sure they are gonna take a major step in the next game and add all the features and extra series. I think they just wanted to fix what etx did wrong. To me....the game looks great so far. Also i heard it's a patch coming.

as long as these things are good then i don't really care if it's a copy and paste job considering there is no nascar game for curent gen.

with that said, they better improve immensely on the depth and features for the next game or else the community will start to turn on them

I hope after a few patches this game will be pretty good. Overall it sounds decent. I'll be glad to finally pick it up today and see for myself. I'm hearing mixed reviews about the game so far. Not that many negatives for online though which is good. I watch a few races with like 15-18 racers in the lobby and it looks smooth it just that people can't drive for ****.

Honestly, with what we have seen from ETX, a Copy/Paste of D2D is good enough. Its obligotory that I get this game, but I think theres fun to be had.

The game is now in my possession. I will answer any questions, and perhaps make an FAQ. Be sure to tag me of you have one. 👍

Also, Blowovers are definitely confirmed.

From the few prerelease video's I've seen, the cars almost look hard to break loose, like they have tons of downforce just holding them to the track. How are the physics in general?

The ETX games seemed like they gave the cars a bit of weight behind them, something I can't really tell if this game has.
