does anyone know where the idea to add nascar came from?
Kaz wanted Gran Turismo to have all forms of motorsports in it, and NASCAR is a huge part of American Motorsports history.

We got Daytona and Indianapolis as a result I think. You may not like the ovals, but both tracks have quality roadcourses.
NASCAR isnt even racing, its just turning left. stupid that PD would allow that junk to be in their game.

By that same logic, Indycar is just as pointless since they also turn left.
Now assuming you actually know what you'e talking about, exactly how is it not racing?
One thing i thought of, is that if it is the 20 country, 70 track/variations system... they could have all sprint cup tracks... there are 22 in the season if i remember correctly. That would leave 48 other tracks... what do you think?
some interestng tidbits on damage, and NASCAR rules ingame. maybe they implimented the NASCAR rule that if you start to pull away from the pack, someone throws a wrapper on the track so that they can throw a dabris yellow.

Sorry if people already know this, but yah...
Im a closet NASCAR fan and i think its great that they included the series in
I hope they include atleast one more Oval track, specifically, Lowe's motor speedway. Now i just wonder if we can use the Cars on all the tracks in game. Maybe even a test run on the Top Gear test track. Sweet.
Who else thinks that 22 tracks dedicated for Nascar would not be a waste of space on the disc?
Not to mention with those 22 tracks, most of them have infield tracks.
Is it wrong to wish for 22 tracks to be in the United States?
William Petty to people who listen to country music is Michael Schumacher to Germans...i.e. the god of racing.
