Portland in 6 (I hate the Mavs)
I poll'd the Blazer fan prediction at work, and the most popular pick be far was the Blazers in six. Most fans predicted Blazers win, but most agreed that it could go either way. Two managers, both near retirement, were the only one's who predicted Blazers in five.

Only three of us predicted Dallas win, but I was one of them. Dallas in seven. I previously had Dallas in six, but comparing the roster between the two, we do have bodies we can throw at Dirk(Batum, Gerald Wallace & LaMarcus). I still give them the edge out of respect for shooters like Jason Terry, Dirk, where we don't have any consistent outside shooters. If our shooters like Rudy, Nic Batum go hot, I don't think Dallas stand a chance. But it is a huge "if" I wouldn't count on. I'm pretty confident in our front line.

Again, Dallas in seven. But really, this could go either way. We won't know who & which team will show up until maybe well into the series.

My hometown bulls eek out a win while having identity issues for the first three and a half quarters. Everything was moving a bit hesitant. You see this alot with teams that have great expectations. I think the bulls are going to pull through and shake this timidity off by the start of game two. Go Bulls!

Somebody let a one-armed man take out the grizz! Seriously of all the seeds I did not want to play was the griz! Damn Zak, damn him. Ginobli had to go bonkers to get some fire in the 3rd, then Memphis seemed to tire out, or question themselves. Then it came down to free throws. Ginobli is a a a a a a beast. Side note: the refs need to review this game closely. Bad calls on both sides. I mean Duncan fouled out? Really?! While Gasol plays the whole second half with 5 fouls? We needed this one. Now if only NO can help us out. :)

I had some Internet troubles back on Monday and Tuesday, so I was unable to realize something. Rick Adelman is no longer the Rockets' coach. He did an amazing job as a Rockets coach. Just too bad we had such a crappy 2010-2011 season.

There is a possible rumor that former Cavaliers' coach, Mike Brown, could be a candidate to coach the Rockets. I just hope we get a great coach and perhaps add some extra talent (like a true big man) to have a much better run next season compared to the disappointing 2010-2011 season for Red Rising.

Best wishes to all playoff teams. Hopefully, we'll be back in a future NBA playoffs to HOPEFULLY gain our third NBA Championship. Can't wait to return to the good old Clutch City days...

I hope Coach Adelman will comeback for one more run. Numerous reports indicate that Adelman was treated unfairly by the Rockets. If those rumors are true, I hope karma even things up.

Blazers are down 0-2 against Dallas. First game back home tonight. I expect the Blazers to take the game tonight.

I was hoping the Spurs destroy the Griz for the disrespect(re: tanking games), imagine how I felt after the Game 1.

Ginobili( ;) ) used to be my favorite (active)player in the NBA. I am so excited he can play like a superstar on a given night. Go Spurs, baby! 👍

Blazers keep losing to Dallas because they refuse to use Mills.:P But seriously, Roy played something like 28mins and had what was it? 2pts? Jack all anything else? Did your coach not consider once using Mills?

I think it was Game 1, Mills came in, and right away, he did something that made me palmface. I think he missed a open lay up, or something. Yeah, he hasn't played a lot, but it might change soon. Coach Mac really tightened the rotation, but as you are aware, it hasn't worked at all.

Roy was a big story here, as after Game 2, he mentioned to local reporter that he had to "fight back tears", as he was buried, and I mean buried on the bench. Most fans were disappointed that he made the comment, vocal minority were disgusted by it. So far, he's come back very strong in the Game 3(second quarter right now).

I thought Blazers would win by 10~20 tonight, but this game has been even. Couple of lead changes, but any big lead disappears within couple of minutes.
What do you think about chicago this year? I don't follow the sport but I read they're doing good in the playoffs so far.
I don't know about good in the Playoffs. They are 3-0, perfect. But all three could have gone either way, and they are against Playoff-unworthy Indiana Pacers.

According to box scores Mills has not played at all in the Playoffs.

Believe me, I saw him play. In fact, Brandon Roy complained about Patty & Rudy being substituted in before him just the other day, right after Game 2.

Going to the game tomorrow, Game 4. I sure hope the Blazers can protect the home court tomorrow. Mavs has been awfully good in the series so far, I sort of expected it I'm afraid. :indiff:

Edit: Paulie, I found the box!

I would have sworn I checked the Game 2 Box score straight after the game the other day, I must be losing my marbles.

Stop it Omnis. You'd be saying that about the Heat next. :P

I take it that Knicks lost tonight? :sly:

He did have zero points! Hahahaha.... I'm sorry. :ouch:

I hope he get some playing time tomorrow. He is loved by his teammates, and the entire City of Portland, pretty much. :D

Mile-high City, right? Tough place to play.

Game 4 I'm going to, it's an early one(2PM). This really bites, because as some of you may know, Portland is pretty much cloudy or rainy with the exception of summer? Today is actually going to be a high of 68 degrees, we get some sun, and I'll be missing out on most of it. Supposedly back to the 50's by tomorrow, and rain.

Oh, well. It's the Playoffs. I guess I gotta suck it up, too.

Westbrook might be OK, but KD will need a oxygen mask. Get it? Because he's taller? :P

EDIT:

I just got back from the Blazers vs Mavs, Game 4.

First, I meet my peeps. Everybody's on time. Not much traffic. Find parking space in a parking garage at the level I wanna be, right by the entrance. Suite tickets at concierge table, no hick ups. Everything is going too smooth.

First sign of trouble was in the suite. There is no food! Me & another guy jokes about how we came for the food, heard something about some basketball game, but where is the food? Waitress says there's no food in this suite, just soft drinks. OK, no biggie. We order the (pay)food, it's all good.

Then the game starts. First quarter, Blazers manage ..........11 points. They do score 24 in the second to get the half score of 35 points. 35. Third quarter. 14 points.

Around this time, I seriously wanted to ask my friend if we should just go home. We were down by 23 points. There didn't seem to be a shred of interest by my home team. Outside shots aren't going in, so they keep bricking more outside shots. It was bad.

In the end, this game miraculously turned into the best game I have attended in recent memory. Brandon Roy just started making everything, including a four-point play.

Rose Garden, where Blazers play, we are loud. Even the regular season games get pretty loud, some as loud as Playoff games. Today? I walked out of that building with my ears ringing. Only times I get my ears ringing are at concerts, or shooting(when I forget to put on hearing protection).

Cheers, screams, high-fives, high-tens, hugs, all that good stuff. Parking garage had hundred cars honking. While we've had that before, today, we were still honking as we exited the garage, and hundreds of fans outside were cheering on, high-fiving us in cars, waving stuff. Damn good times!

I almost died when the Heat tried a 3-point shot when they were up by 4 with 30 seconds left on the clock. What were they thinking? Just put in the easy baskets and seal the series.

I just wish that useless series would end already much like the Celtics v. Knicks. The Sixers aren't going to win three more in a row.

Dayum, that was one helluva game 4 for Dallas vs Portland.👍 Imagine how much they would have won by if Mills played.:P

Very surprised. Everybody played horribly, but I guess Patty didn't get to play, because the starting PG, Dre Miller was like the only 1 of 2 players who were doing anything. Of course, that was until Brandon Roy went on to beat the Mavs.

Thinking back, the best game I have ever got to go to. I'm still dumbfounded.

P.S. I saw so many of the Australian flood aid shirts sold by Patty. I have one, but I wore the Blazers shirt to the game.

Edit: Very cool software on our local news paper site. They basically connect bunch of photos, lets you spot yourself in the arena:

I'm on the front row, far right. Suites have bathroom, bar, then two rows of seats outside. Just in case you are wondering, suite next to ours was pretty much empty most of the game. I should have raided their fridge. :P

Are you the guy there with the Blazers jersey on the white shirt a6m5? I hope Portland go on to win this series, I really do.👍

No, he's the creepy asian guy. ;)

Fair enough.👍 This is what happens when you circle 2 people.

I can't believe my Spurs are losing to the Grizzlies. Dang, if only Manu were 100%. I mean at least we're not the only top seed in trouble. Lakers look incredibly vulnerable (especially if Kobe can't go for game 5), Spurs and the Mavs do too.

I'm still rooting for & believe in the Spurs & Lakers. I know, I know, damn Lakers. While I hate most everybody on that team, I am a fan of Kobe & Phil.

P.S. Thanks a lot, Omnis.

Edit: Hey! I just looked at it again, and I did write "far right"! I think Paulie just wanted to call me fat & white! j/k
