The Raptors lead the game for 4 quarters and blew it against the Bulls.:grumpy:

Andrew Bynum last night got a Technical Foul last night for hanging on the rim and pulling himself up on it. Didn't look like it too much, but Bynum really needs to be either disciplined or learn to play like a professional.

Not many games on for tonight with March Madness about to kick off (see my College Basketball thread for that stuff). However, it's a special night for my Rockets as the "Team of the '90s" is being honored. You know, the 1994 and 1995 Houston Rockets. Back when WE were the best of the NBA's Texas Triangle. Players like Hakeem Olajuwon, Clyde "The Glide" Drexler, and many others will be saluted as Houston's "Team of the '90s." We're taking on Golden State tonight here in H-Town.

Enjoy some NBA 'ball!

We won 109-83 over the Golden State Warriors. Didn't even need the [Rockets] Team of the '90s to take down the Warriors. I saw a little of the ceremony on TV as some of the '90s Rockets were introduced. Clyde "The Glide" Drexler usually is the analyst for Rockets' home games; he was not the analyst for this game, because he was honored along with Mario Elie, Robert Horry, Hakeem Olajuwon, and Kenny Smith. Well... we might need the '90s Rockets to take down the 2011-2012 Dallas Mavericks Saturday night.

That's all. Have a nice day. :)

[UPDATE/ALMOST FORGOT] Kenny Smith was NOT in attendance because he was calling a game of the mens' NCAA March Madness Tournament.

Haha, Hornets ruined CP3's return back to the hive as they won against the clippers 97-90.

I wish Hornets weren't so injury prone.

Nice. 👍 I hope my boy Jack had a good game against his buddy CP3!

Since CP3 has gone, honestly he has surprised me, he has really risen up and has played pretty damn well.

A good game tonight for him, dishing 9 assists and having 17 points.

I had to go look it up after posting. :P Very happy for Jarrett. 👍

This is my issue with the current rules. You can't show any emotion or any reaction or it's a technical. It's ridiculous at times when a simple gesture gets a technical. Even when an obvious phantom foul is called & the player/coach reacts, they get a foul. The fact you can't even really say anything at all about the officiating is nuts. 👎

Great games from Chris Kaman (20 points, 4 blocks) and Jason Smith (17 points, 8 boards) aswell, okay Smith was ejected but anyway. Despite their poor record, there's plenty to like about the Hornets.

My issue is that they pick & choose when what is, or isn't a foul.

This is why I no longer consider NBA a 100% legit sport. I do not know of any professional sport where there are so many complete bogus(not mistake, or interpretation) calls, or non-calls in a single game.

"Respect for the Game" technical fouls are just stupid to begin with. You completely take the emotion out of a basketball game. It's even dumb finding out when you actually cross the line between respecting and disrespecting the game. DISrespect is something like betting on games you officiated (remind you of someone?).

Vinny Del Negro needs to go. Mike D'Antoni needs to come in.

Linsanity rocked Toronto last time the Knicks were at Toronto. This time around, Toronto returned the favor in a beat down. The five-game winning streak under Woodson is snapped.

[UPDATE] It was a 96-79 win for Toronto. Also, spare a thought for M. Pietrus of Boston Celtics, who took a wicked fall during the game and was carted out. Boston was playing Philadelphia. I want to congratulate Doug Collins on getting his 400th win as coach as the 76ers won 99-86 at Boston.

In the meantime, Hornets go up against the Spurs. Hornets are without Kaman, whilst Spurs won't have Ginobili, Splitter and Neal.

Hopefully we can keep it close 👍

Is Manu out again!? The Spurs man, I swear......

I just read last night that they picked up Diaw off waivers? Spurs are gearing up for the (IMO)final Championship push with this lineup. I just hope they can mesh in time, beat the crap out of everyone in the west, then the Heat!

Edit: On CP3/D'Antoni Pick 'n' Roll comment by Stav, you know it baby. It's effective, it works!

Pretty good pickup for the Spurs, I'd rather them over the Heat anyday.

Pains me to say this as a Rockets fan- no shame losing to Dallas. The next time Houston will play to the Mavericks will be on Tuesday night in Dallas. We'll play them one more time in Dallas after this coming Tuesday night. The game ended in a 101-99 victory for Dallas in Overtime. I don't think the Rockets want to actually be in the playoffs if they can't win games against solid contenders like Dallas. F:censored:!!!

Raptors lost in overtime to the Bulls this time with a buzzer beater from Luol Deng.:grumpy:

Short handed Hornets almost beat the Spurs, eventually going down 89-86.

With Belinelli having the 3 ball go short.

You think that's bad? Have a go at how the Bulls beat the Raptors! Raptors had 3 golden opportunities to seal it in regular time and failed, played great defence in the dying seconds of overtime with the Chicago shot coming up well short, but merely that Deng was in the right place at the right time, and tipped it in with tenths left on the clock, in slow mo replay the ball was only like half a foot out of his hand when the timer expired.
