Wow sounds awesome, Bogut and Irving could make a good combo.

You would think given their skill sets, that Mills would start Point and Irving would start Shooting Guard. Won't count for much against the Dream Team though.:ill:

Could someone bring me up to speed on what happened to the lakers trade? I mean with what trade they were trying to do? involving Gasal, Odom, and Chris Paul?
Is Odom no longer a laker? Is Gasol still a laker? I know the trade didnt go through but what was going on?

I was at the Houston Auto Show, so I didn't see my Rockets win 97-84 over the Knicks. Next up for the Rockets is a home game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. After that, the Rockets will start up some tough road games. That includes a trip down Interstate 10 to take on the San Antonio Spurs. We'll be done with the Spurs for the regular season after Wednesday. Haven't yet played the Mavericks as far as the NBA's Texas Triangle is concerned.

Elsewhere... ESPN's sort of making a big deal about the Lakers not being able to break into triple-digits. They got smacked a bit in Milwaukee back on Saturday.

Actually I'd reverse that and have Irving at PG and Mills at SG cause I feel that Mills is the shooter (can't prove it though)

Chris Paul got traded to the Clippers along with two 2nd round picks. The hornets got Eric Gordon, Al-Faruq Aminu, Chris Kaman and a 1st round pick from the Clippers (via Timberwolves)

Odom is no longer a laker and signed with Dallas.

I was going to have Irving at Shooting since he can get to the basket with more strength, but then again, who knows, it'd still be one of the best Australian back courts ever regardless of where you throw them.
Raptors had a huge win over the Nets today without two of their best players, and did anyone see Lebron's alley-oop jam squarely over the top of a Bulls player? Watch the highlights, it was clean over the top.:D

Rockets f:censored:ed up again, perhaps looking ahead to at Spurs on Wednesday and then home for Phoenix on Friday. The former coach of the Rockets, Rick Adelman, beat our asses 120-108. I was mad as hell. How the f:censored: do you lose badly to Milwaukee and Minnesota at home? Bull-f:censored:ing-s:censored:!!! Condensed season or not, my Rockets need have water splashed and be slapped upside the face and wake the hell up.

While I'm pissed about my team, that's nothing compared to what the Magic are dealing with. The team's a mess right now despite the fact they can actually WIN games unlike my Rockets. "Addition by subtraction" would be what most people would think by getting rid of Dwight Howard.

I think this week's Tuesday NBA Fan Game is the Nuggets at the Clippers. That should be a pretty good matchup. In fact, it's the only good one for Tuesday.

I officially hate Griffin again, due to the league's undue love of him. Yes he's impressive, but I don't understand this better-than-thou praise of him. His dunks are not better than Lebron's, I mean how can ANYONE think that today's Griffin posterising Perkins dunk was better than Lebron jumping SQUARELY OVER the TOP of the Bulls player on an alley-oop? Not only that, but Griffin's dunk was in my opinion an offensive foul to boot that nobody is pointing out, because if you look at it he's using his off hand to palm Perkins in the face so he can dunk it. That's BS, so can I go around just palming people off while I'm making shot attempts as well? Griffin needs to be grounded and stop getting this perferential treatment before I'll ever respect him.

Big guys dunking is not all that impressive, personally. Especially with a cocky attitude to boot.

We got six games tonight; two of which on NBA on TNT. Here are the TNT games for this Groundhog Day night:

* Chicago Bulls at New York Knicks
* Denver Nuggets at Los Angeles Clippers

My Rockets lost last night at San Antonio. Even on Kevin Martin's 29th birthday, the team got into an offensive funk and were taken down by the Spurs. We're at home Friday night to host the Phoenix Suns before having to embark on a six-game road tour against Western Conference teams. We're 12-10 right now.

So yeah, .500!!!!

Been awhile since I could say that this far into the season.

:(

Six game road trip for the Rockets, and we probably should have kept Rick Adelman. Failed twice in a row now to Minnesota. My boys need to get it through their f:censored:ing heads to start executing better. No way in Hell can you beat the Suns in a blowout at home, yet fail to Minnesota. We're content with mediocrity unless the Rockets can start winning rather than falling on their asses crying.

This road trip contains games at places like Denver, Golden State, and Memphis among others. They need to get it together. Soon.

Some people are still talking about Kevin Love stomping on my man Luis Scola with the Rockets at Timberwolves game on Saturday. Kevin Love picked up a two-game suspension. I almost sort of imagined the college incident involving the Duke vs. Kentucky game in 1992 with Christian L. stomping on that one Kentucky player.

My Rockets are at the Nuggets tonight in the second game of their six-game road trip. I hear Denver has some key injuries that MIGHT give the Rockets some hope of not falling on their asses crying. For one, I read in a Tweet that Nene won't be on the floor for Denver tonight.

Enjoy some NBA 'ball tonight!

Next year's NBA All-Star Game will be coming to my hometown. That's right- 2013 All-Star Game right here in Houston. My Rockets' homesick ways will continue tonight as they'll try to entertain the Trail Blazers on the road. I think this will be their 3rd game on this six-game road trip.

Whomever your team(s) will be playing tonight or in the future, best of luck to your teams.

If things go to plan, a few buddies & I should be down there next for the All-Star game (we missed the Dallas one). I don't know how much closer one is going to be to us Texans after next year.

Anyway, Mavs finally broke their streak & sent the Nuggets to 4 losses.

Rockets entered the lion's den and came away with a win. We pulled her out 103-96. It was LOUD hearing the fans in Portland cheer on their Trail Blazers. It was crazy loud once the Blazers started going. However, we shut them up at the final buzzer to win. This, even though we led by as many as about... maybe 17. Tomorrow night... another tough place to play- Rockets at Suns.

This Thursday night's NBA on TNT matches:
* Lakers at Celtics
* Thunder at Kings

The only other game besides the three I mentioned for tomorrow is Warriors at Nuggets. Enjoy some more NBA 'ball!

The Rockets won again with a 96-89 effort. Up next is the 5th of our 6-game tour: at the Golden State Warriors on Sunday. Elsewhere...

* Lakers take down the Celtics in Overtime in Boston. An 88-87 victory for LAL.

Congratulations to the respective winners of GS at DEN and OKC at SAC.

YEAH Toronto beat Boston today after being humiliated in both earlier encounters.

Yeah, I saw that the Raptors took down the Celtics. BIG win for the Raptors.

Miami is in the midst of a back-to-back-to-back. They easily handled Atlanta by 20 back on Sunday. I think they are at Milwaukee tonight. Doing three straight days of basketball is pretty taxing. Have to see how these boys handle three straight days of NBA 'ball.

Meanwhile... s:censored:ty performance by the Rockets. We lost 106-97. Rockets are now 16-12. Our six-day road trip ends on Tuesday night at Memphis. Then, we're back home at Toyota Center to host those danged Oklahoma City Thunder. I just hope the Rockets don't play as lethargically as we did at the Warriors recently...

Good year to be living in Oklahoma City....though ticket prices are becoming extraordinarily high. I've still yet to get a chance to see a game.

I wish Jeremy Lin was on the Heat. I'm not a Knicks fan but how can anyone not like #17?

Hopefully Norris Cole and Mario Chalmers get to that level. His court vision is just insane.

It's safe to say... the 2011-2012 Charlotte Bobcats suck. They failed at home 98-89 hosting Philadelphia. Their record is now 3-25(?) on the season. And- they have lost 15 straight games. Any extended losing streak, and they'll be challenging the Cavaliers' 26-game losing streak from last season or so.

Knicks are looking crazy! Man that comeback tonight looked improbable to say the least. Lin is clutch. Shumpert played AIR-TIGHT D and came up with the crucial steal and dunk.

Meanwhile (aside from Jeremy Lin chatter)... my Rockets probably wished they came home today from this six-game road trip. Funny that on this Valentine's Day, the Rockets played with very little heart as they lost 93-83 at Memphis. Maybe the first mistake was that there was talk about how the Rockets seemed to treat this game at Memphis to be a trap game. Why so? They have Oklahoma City Wednesday night. The Rockets are getting worn out- almost like they're doing a triathlon and are sucking wind.

I won't be surprised when we fail at home to Oklahoma City tomorrow night in the start of our six-game home stand. Our six-game home stand includes the following: Oklahoma City, Minnesota, Utah, Memphis, Philadelphia, and Toronto. We'll return to road play at Utah on February 29.

My boys are 16-13 now with this loss. How are your team(s) doing?

Bloody hell, mate! We won! Make the Thunder's record 22-7 now as the we (the Rockets) won 96-95. They toughed it out and pulled out a win. We'll GLADLY take this one! Oklahoma City... not so much.

*happy dance*
