How did they do that? I thought nobody wanted him, and I wasn't surprised. If I ran a team, I'd want him as far as away as possible.

He had his offcourt issues but on the court he has a workaholic . I will say he messed up his own chances refusing to be a role player at memphis but think about how many chances tmac got ( atlanta detroit new york )

Iverson deserved another chance and a better one that reunion in philly .

People may not appreciate him now because the league is filled with guards with talent now.

The Aussies Mills and Baynes have been tearing it up in the pre-season, I hope this means more minutes for them in the regular season.👍

Well, that's different than being blackballed, isn't it? You can't force a team to sign a player they don't want. I'm sure Iverson last few years seemed like an addition by subtraction to a lot of GMs.

I see it as a classic case of sleeping in the bed you made. You can't be headache to so many people & expect them to be there for you, risking their franchise finance and/or success to accommodate your graceful exit from the NBA. I'll give you that he played, and played hard to win. I loved that about him. Unfortunately, he was a heavy smoker who created a lot of problems for his team, also was known to get in trouble with police.

This preseason basketball reminds me of how much I miss watching the Heat.

I saw the score, I'm not clicking on any of those videos! America still thinks about that Game 6. You never expect San Antonio to choke, but they did. :(

It was 100-95 here in Houston as we took down the Dallas Mavericks last night. I do have faith in my Houston Rockets perhaps showing vast improvement and really (hopefully) return to REAL relevance. Maybe not Clutch City relevance, but at least T-Mac and Yao relevant. Our final two Preseason games is a back-to-back against two division foes: at San Antonio on Thursday and at Memphis on Friday. Yikes!

Mills with 22pts and 5 steals for the Spurs today, nice one.
The double overtime game of the Raptors vs Knicks was awesome, Hansborough had a post spin and dunk to force overtime and T.Ross had a fadeaway hand in the face 3 to send it to double overtime. DeRozan threw down a NASTY jam despite being hit in the face with no foul call, I see the Canadian team biased refereeing conspiracy will live!

Deja vu of my all-time favorite player, also Kyrie Irving's un-official uncle.

*Wu-Tang Clan warning.

He goes thru 4.5 defenders at 1:34. :embarrassed:

Rod Strickland also has ties with Derrick Rose, which is why I have a soft spot for him, too. 👍

According to the Big Finish of ESPN's "Pardon the Interruption," the NBA Finals has officially become a 2-2-1-1-1 format. So you all would be happy that this format is now official. The format takes form starting this postseason. So bye-bye to the 2-3-2 schedule format that has reportedly been in use for 30 years. Here's a link I found:

I'm on the fabulous GTPlanet app, so that's why I posted this mobile site link. Anyhow, what are your thoughts on the owners approving this format change?

It looks like my Rockets will get some national face time when we head to San Antonio. This trip down Interstate 45 is part of a back-to-back for the Rockets. We're in San Antonio tonight on the NBA on TNT, and then we're at Memphis tomorrow night. Of course, these are exhibition games. The real fun doesn't begin until this coming Tuesday and this coming Wednesday.

Greg Oden in the paint.

Has anyone seen this British commentary of the NBA?

I got a good laugh out of that.
PS- It's not real, it's a joke

There's been a major trade today, the Suns send Center Marcin Gortat, and Guards Kendall Marshall, Shannon Brown, and Malcom Lee to the Wizards In exchange for Center Emeka Okafor, and yet another first round pick in the 2014 draft.
Phoenix has entered full-on tank mode, and they have 4 first-round picks in a very, very deep and talented. draft.
