The Miami Heat look like a pick-up team from the community center vs. the Clippers starters. Pathetic.

Riley needs to rebuild this team through the draft. Shabazz and Cole are the only energy guys on our team. Everyone else moves in slow motion.

That was one of the best feel good, happy games for the Raptors I've ever seen.:D Every active player scored, they were up by 52 at one point in the 4th quarter, no starter had to play in the 4th, and Brunco Caboclo and Lucas Noguiera both got play their first games, both got alley-oop dunks, Caboclo finished with 8pts and a nice block, the crowd was chanting his name.:) Landry Fields also got to play and scored 8pts including a putback dunk off a missed free throw.

Teams just getting wrecked left & right tonight by 20+. Hell, the last 2 games of the night are on those margins right now.

Yeah, a lot of blowouts happening left, right and centre.
I see Baynes had 12pts and 9reb again today, Bogut also had 12pts which included a nice alley-oop jam. Exum and Ingles both sucked as far as scoring goes, but 5ast to both of them.

Edit: Wow, Raptors went down big in the 1st quarter (18pts at one point) then, Lou Williams happened! He scored 36pts on under 30mins off the bench, inspiring the whole team to give Lebron further reason to be looking hella pissed.:D

Chandler Parsons all of a sudden has some swagger since going to Dallas. Not to mention talking bad about my hometown ("Dallas is cleaner than Houston."). Enter another Houston vs. Dallas battle. Tonight... Houston won. We won 95-92, but when I first tuned into the game, we were leading by somewhere around 15 points until the Mavericks closed the gap. Dwight Howard didn't suit up for Houston. He was still nursing his injury. Storms got to be bad here in Houston, so I unplugged my stuff in my room. It was good this was a non-blackout game on NBA TV ever since the all-new ROOT Sports Southwest debuted back on November 17, taking over for the former Comcast SportsNet Houston.

Anyhow, the Rockets finally reach the double-digit win total on the season, as we are now 10-3 on the season. This was the second game in our five-game homestand. Up next... we're entertaining the New York Knicks on Monday night.

Congratulations to all other winners. Better luck next time to all losers... including the Philadelphia 76ers losing at the Knicks at Madison Square Garden to remain winless.

Baynes is providing solid contributions off the bench for the Spurs right now, today getting 10pts and 8reb today. Looking forward to when Mills returns. Up next for Toronto is @DCybertron's Suns, finally (aside from the Grizzlies who were missing half their squad for stomach bugs) the Raptors will play some tough Western teams to see if they're really for real. I'll have to try and temper my expectations, but 11-2 is a great start to the season, championship contenders or not (they're not).

I knew the Raps might have won this game, but man, that was a horrible, horrible game for the Suns. Nothing went our way, calls could have been a little better, (Raps shot 21 more free throws than the Suns) and overall just played horrible. (20 turnovers). It should have been a blowout but it came down to a 4-point game.
I'm still proud of that, at least.

I forgot to mention that I saw on NBA TV the Hornets at Heat game last night. Man- that was a good game! Omnis' Miami Heat came through with a big win over the Charlotte Hornets. I'm sure it was welcome relief after his Dolphins in the NFL lost 39-36 at Denver. Now back to the NBA with a report on my Rockets...

The New York Knicks may have the Triangle offense, but we squared up the Knicks with a 91-86 victory. "Big Nasty Beard" (what I nickname James Harden) was hitting 3's with regularity, especially late for the Rockets. The game was tied at 69 heading into the 4th Quarter thanks to all the turnovers by the Rockets in the 3rd Quarter. It's another Rockets win. The news was worse for NYK as Carmelo Anthony left in the 2nd Quarter with back spasms. I hope 'Melo will be alright.

Elsewhere...

* Did the 76ers win? Hell no. 114-104 at home in favor of a6m5's Portland Trail Blazers. Rip City ripped Philly a new one. PHI is now 0-14. The patience of true Sixers fans will REALLY be tested. At least credit the fans for still caring about their team despite their sorry performances.

* DCybertron's Suns. Paulie's Raptors. Game in Toronto. Thank goodness the Phoenix Suns were wearing those purple uniforms (I like those MUCH more than orange uniforms with black accents). Still, it didn't save them from losing 104-100 in favor of the Toronto Raptors. So in this inner-GTPlanet rivalry, it was Paulie's Raps who rocked and rolled over the Suns.

* McLaren's Mavericks hosted the Indiana Pacers, and the Pacers ended up winning 111-100 in Dallas. I guess Indiana didn't take too kindly to good old Southern hospitality offered by Dallas...

* sumbrownkid's Chicago Bulls took down the Utah Jazz 97-95 in Salt Lake City.

* In Charlotte, it was 113-92 as the Los Angeles Clippers lit up the Charlotte Hornets. The Clip Joint was the bug light that subdued the Hornets.

* You may have heard the expression of "being sick and tired of being sick and tired." So what did the Cleveland Cavaliers do at home? Simple- they ran over the Orlando Magic with a 106-74.

That's all the games. Congrats to all the winners; better luck next time to all losers.

That's funny, I thought the Raps got some bad calls too. I think you have to credit the Raptors' D for a lot of the way the Suns played, they had to make a lot of really tough contested jump shots to stay in it, and Isiah Thomas just happened in the 4th quarter that got Phoenix back in it. Aside from some of the 3's they gave up, I'm pretty happy the way Toronto played and took down a hot Western foe.

In Aussie news, Jingles (Joe Ingles) had 11pts today, first time in double figures for him.:)

Five games on tonight, but only one can be the NBA Fan Night Game of the Week. And that game is...

...Golden State Warriors at Miami Heat!

The NBA fans want to see what the Warriors can do when they invade South Beach in taking on Omnis' Miami Heat. I actually think this is going to be a good game. Miami had that match at home against the Charlotte Hornets this past Sunday, which was quite good. This one will be a nice contest as well.

Enjoy some NBA basketball tonight.

I'm not gonna lie, that one was one of those scary games where you are afraid that your team's gonna be their first victim. So glad that one's over.

Sigh.

Rose exits game with left hamstring injury.

I'm starting to think his career is a bust now.

At least Butler's is blossoming.

Well in regards to the Philadelphia 76ers, remember my Rockets beat them by one at home earlier this season. No- read it again: by ONE. We could have easily been the first victim of the Sixers. Of course... I'm thankful my boys avoided that dubious mark this season.

"Warriors... come out and play-yay!" I saw most of the Golden State at Miami game as part of NBA Fan Night. It was a great back-and-forth offensive shootout. Unfortunately, it was the Warriors who iced Omnis' Miami Heat 114-97 in Miami.

Congratulations to all other winners from Tuesday with the five games played.

It's not looking good, is it? Things like Bulls salary cap, Rose' contract situation, can he play hurt? Those things come to mind.

Ah, I do remember that score. I was so sad that the Sixers lost. sorry, but you probably guessed it. lol

At least Bairstow finally got some significant minutes to cover for Noah!:dopey: A shame he sucked, but it was his first time playing real NBA minutes, for a 2nd round draft pick he could have done worse.

Heat completely fell apart against the Warriors. I want to know who thought it was a good idea to play off-coverage on Curry. That's why he had 40 points.

I didn't watch, but that is such a classic NBA. Defend the 15-footer they are bricking, stop the pick & roll they can't seem to execute, but whatever you do, do leave the hottest shooter they have on the court without any coverage. :D jk

How about some "Thanksgiving Eve" basketball? My Rockets hosted the hot Sacramento Kings, and we won 102-89. Canaan for the Rockets accounted for 24 points by the Rockets in this game. A couple of ex-Rockets were on the SAC squad: my man Carl Landry and Omri Casspi. DeMarcus "Boogie" Cousins had a double-double: 29 points and 17 rebounds. I think our next game is against the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night.

Congratulations to all other winners from Wednesday (like POR on the road and DAL in Overtime), and better luck next time to all losers... including the Philadelphia 76ers. By the way, here's their upcoming schedule after failing 99-91 at home to the Brooklyn Nets (some people called PHI winning tonight):

Next 5 Games: Philadelphia 76ers
Nov. 29 - Dallas
Dec. 1 - San Antonio
Dec. 3 - at Minnesota
Dec. 5 - Oklahoma City
Dec. 6 - at Detroit

Futility reigns supreme in Philadelphia. Philly people probably would rather follow the Eagles and the Flyers rather than stand another minute of the Sixers failing. No NBA hoops on Thanksgiving. They go back to work Friday.

The Thunder won last night against the Utah Jazz, so that was good. There is a chance Russell Westbrook will back tomorrow night.

The Thunder also released Sebastian Telfair.

"What a horrible night to have a curse."

It wasn't like we had a chance to stun the Los Angeles Clippers. But at the same time, we're weren't supposed to be the Clippers' b:censored:es in our own house while getting annihilated. Our attempts at exercising damage control failed miserably as we lost on a game televised on NBA TV. Worst of all- the Rockets only managed about 9 points in the 4th Quarter. That even included an extremely inconsequential 3-pointer by the Rockets from just past half court to end the game. Absolute bull-m:censored:f:censored:ing-s:censored: performance tonight. We got blacked out on Black Friday.

Up next... we're at the Milwaukee Bucks for our next game tomorrow night. Maybe the morning sun will vanquish this horrible night when the Rockets take on [the improved] Bucks in Milwaukee as part of this back-to-back.

Congratulations to everyone who didn't fail today or tonight.

So after whooping Denver 120-112 Wednesday night, they whooped us even harder tonight, 97-122. We just didn't make shots, and didn't try to rebound those missed shots.

Kidd has been playing him at Point.

It's too bad Milwaukee never gets TV games. They should really move to Seattle.

Recently? I heard they tried it earlier in the season and it was such an abysmal failure they abandoned the idea. Even if he can run the ball a bit I still wouldn't call him a point guard, unless he's also capable of and has been defending the opposing team's floor general, and his presence at point doesn't affect which other players are on court playing their natural positions, and he's truly running the ball like a point guard. Lebron runs the offence as well at times, but he's still not a point guard.

Ah, they scuttled that plan? I didn't get the memo.

Well, at least he can run the fast break. Or the looooong break, anyway.

We handled the Milwaukee Bucks 117-103 in Milwaukee. I didn't follow this game in any capacity. I mostly was watching YouTube videos and preparing a post for one of my blogs. Any time you can win a game on the back end of a back-to-back after losing the first one, you feel good. It's great the Rockets didn't let the annihilation from last night's game against the Clippers rattle their chemistry and their confidence. So chalk up another win for my Rockets.

Elsewhere...

* ...no. The The Philadelphia 76ers did not win. It was McLaren's Mavericks who were latest to put down the Sixers with a 110-103 victory in Philadelphia. This now 0-16 start is the worst in Sixers history. They're now two losses away from the worst start since the 2009-2010 (then) New Jersey Nets, which started 0-18 before winning their first game of the season against the (then) Charlotte Bobcats. Hell, those 2009-2010 Nets... and maybe even the Washington Generals exhibition team can beat the 2014-2015 Sixers. Lame.

* I read DeMar DeRozan of the Raptors will be out of action for about a month with the tearing of a tendon in his groin. Ouch. Tough blow for the hot Raptors.

* Atlanta sprayed plenty of bug repellent to shake off the Charlotte Hornets 105-75 in Atlanta. Okay... maybe not bug repellent, but some beat-you-down basketball was played by the Hawks in this one.

Congratulations to all other winners from Saturday.

Well, I remember reading it somewhere but maybe they're still giving it another go? Bad idea IMO anyway, may as well ask Bogut to play point guard because of his "hectic" passing skills then say "Look! We have a 7'0 point guard!".
