So the Lakers blew out the Warriors and my Suns actually have a winning streak. What in the world is happening?

It was USA vs. Canada in Toronto. America's team- the Houston Rockets. Canada's team- the Toronto Raptors. The winner? By a score of 113-107... the Houston Rockets! So freaking glad we didn't botch this one. The Rockets came off of a loss on Saturday night in Chicago against the Bulls to take down the Raptors. The Rockets just need to be reminded just who the hell they are. Maybe this win will help.

Congratulations to Sunday's other winners, including the Los Angeles Lakers beating the Golden State Warriors. Yes- this is not a typo. This is not an April Fool's Joke. That happened. Honest.

In Philadelphia on Wednesday night, the Houston Rockets won 118-104 after getting beat up early in the rebounding department. The Sixers are stuck on eight wins while we improved to 32-32. Our Eastern road trip continues with a trip to the Boston Celtics on Friday followed by at Charlotte on Saturday as part of a back-to-back.

We didn't fail! If yours didn't either, congratulations to Wednesday's other winners.

The Houston Rockets had themselves a back-to-back in Boston and Charlotte. In Boston on Friday, it was a 102-98 victory for the Rockets. The back end didn't go well, as we lost 125-109 at Charlotte tonight.

Hoping your team(s) did well, congratulations to the other recent winners.

Brandon Knight and Devin Booker did their best splash brothers impersonation. Result? Suns lead until the 4th, when the Warriors actually decided to play. Warriors 116-123. Oh well. Tank for Simmons amirite?

I'm not sure Simmons deserves the number 1 pick any more, especially after the way LSU lost 71-38 today.

Then who does?

Maybe someone like Buddy Hield or Brandon Ingram? Players who have been successful on teams that can actually win a basketball game, or at the very least compete.

We ain't never scared of no Grizzlies. We won 130-81. Memphis must have blown a tire, leaked oil, lost a cylinder... it wasn't close. The team has improved to 33-32 on the season after this game.

Congratulations to all other winners from Monday's nine games, including Oklahoma City smashing Portland at home and Chicago with a big win on the road at Toronto.

So Phil Jackson wants to coach the knicks for home games only. What a joke. I don't know why the knicks don't just hire Tom Thibedeau and just call it a day.

Shaq didn't win anything at LSU.

Damn it man! I'm trying to lower my hopes and expectations for potentially the greatest Australian basketballer ever after a few worrying signs in his college career.

Jackson wanting to only coach homes games is a joke indeed. You'd bet that the players would be very unhappy about it leading to yet another dismal season.

I think the Knicks should just fire Jackson and everyone and put Thibs in charge. I mean, what the hell is wrong with the Knicks? They're so interesting to watch just because of how screwed up they are. Did you see when Calderon hit that game winner? It was like they just watched the lunchlady croak. There is absolutely no joy in that club. If they're under team orders not to win any games, they should just send Melo and Kristaps on paid vacation.

Get ready, NBA... Ben Simmons declared for the NBA Draft. Something tells me Simmons will probably go nuts in the NBA after providing his service to Louisiana State University. Maybe not Steph Curry nuttiness, but Ben Simmons could be crazy awesome in his own right.

Anyhow, Ben Simmons to the NBA. Enjoy this Monday's games.

Well, I guess it's that time of year when the Raptors choke. They're looking very shaky, and I'm hearing Lowry's elbow is not in good shape, apparently needing to be drained after today's game.

Man I hate how ESPN is trying to shove GS in everybody's throat. Is the NBA in such a bad shape?

Not that I have ESPN, so I don't know how bad it is. But they could just be catering to the casual sports fan. Casual sports fans both have no idea what's going on in terms of historical seasons, and could only be bothered hearing about the best and "trendy" happenings. What ever gets the ratings right?

THIS JUST IN...

Yao Ming elected to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. As a Rockets fan, I'm proud of Yao for this accomplishment. I loved the T-Mac and Yao days. Even if he wasn't so banged up, Yao would probably do a better job right now at center than Dwight Howard.

Anyhow, congrats to my man Yao Ming. Too bad this is the only good Houston Rockets news of late...

There have been a good number of good Raptors teams, but this one is special. For the first time in franchise history, the Toronto Raptors picked up their golden (50th) win of the season. Congratulations to the Raptors on getting this many wins in one season. They defeated the Atlanta Hawks 105-97 in Toronto to get to win #50.

Just wanted to give some Raptor love for this post. Congratulations to all other winners from Tuesday.

I believe the Hornets are the only franchise left to never have had a 50-win season.

Errgh, the Celtics spoiled Golden State's perfect home record.
The Raptors at least beat Grizzlies to improve to 51 wins.

Good. One less thing to read cocky GSW fans talk about. Fans that forget Curry somehow managed to barely escape a serious head/neck injury against Houston last year.

I wouldn't have minded if it wasn't the Celtics that did it.:sly: I hope Raptors can play party poopers for the Spurs' home record tomorrow.

You can stop wondering who the #1 pick in the draft is going to be.

Sorry, Ben.

You mean I can start wondering who will and who won't make the lottery? No chance in hell Maker is taken 1st, very slim chance he's taken top 10 even IMO. His ceiling is reasonably high, though it's a steep staircase to reach it, and his basement is fairly low with a slippery dip all the way down.
Still, I was shocked at this announcement today! Not sure if I should be happy about it or not. On one hand he might really benefit from college experience as a lot of people say he's nowhere near NBA-ready. On the other, another potentially talented Aussie is entering the NBA, and he might even be in the Raptors' draft range at circa-10th overall (fingers crossed :P). The entertainment value is real, I bet Australia has never had two lottery picks in the same year.

Conclusive evidence that ESPN can't shove Steph Curry down our throats any further :

I don't know if anyone's watching the Wolves vs. GSW game tonight, but I have never seen the refs change a Charge/Blocking call on the fly, like they did for Curry & ruin KAT's And-1. Hopefully, someone on YouTube will have a video up soon to show.

No way man. Maker is Kevin Durant Jr. What's the point of going to college when you're not going to stay there to get a degree? If he can enter the draft, he might as well become a millionaire sooner rather than later. It's working out for Giannis.
