Nothing like getting stabbed in the back by your favorite player. :(
It's okay man, after a while you'll move on and become numb to it. I did after Nash left and after Dragic forced his way out of PHX.

Not a backstab. LMA was enchanted by Becky Hammon when she opened her... playbook.

Hey does anyone else think Detroit could be really good this year? Should be better without Josh Smith, that's for sure. Orlando is also a team to keep an eye out for in the next 3-4 years. Elfrid, Gordon, and Hezonja? Those guys are going to ball out.

That's just.. :lol:
Even though it was Pop having lunch with LMA that sealed the deal, I'd rather wish it went this way. :lol:

Anyways, my sleeper pick for this year is the Jazz, they were on fire post all-star break.
EDIT: If the Kings can make A lineup of Rondo-Belineli-Gay-Cousins-Koufos work, they could be a sleeper too to compete for the playoffs.

The Kings are going to have chemistry issues. You had a coach trying to trade off the franchise player almost as soon as he came on & now have a point guard coming in who nearly tarnished his reputation by getting into it with his coach again (Rondo already had a history dating back to his college days as being difficult to work with).

Boogie has definitely calmed down more the past couple seasons, but chances are he & Coach Karl will probably not start off as fans of each other, and may not take well if Rondo causes disruption again as he likes to take charge.

Could be worse, your team could have signed Biyombo.:odd:

So, does anyone else's teams' depth charts looks pretty off right now? It could be me but it still seems like most teams have gaping holes in their roster. Here's the Raptors:
Point Guard:
Starter- Kyle Lowry
Reserves- Delon Wright (a rookie, only selected 20th), Luke Ridnour (non-guaranteed contract, may still be waived)

Shooting Guard:
Starter- DeMar DeRozan
Reserves-Terrence Ross

Small Forward:
Starter- DeMare Carroll
Reserves- James Johnson, Bruno Caboclo (doubt he's ready for the NBA yet, still a major project)
Worth noting both of the first two guys can play the 4

Power Forward:
Starter- Patrick Patterson
Reserves- LOL

Centre:
Starter- Jonas Valanciunas
Reserves- Bismack Biyombo (can't shoot the ball, can't catch the ball, sure as HELL can't pass the ball, this guy is the biggest non-factor I've ever seen on offence), Lucas Nogueira (still hasn't cracked a rotation yet...)

Summary: We still have no obvious backup at the point guard. Lou Williams is still a free agent and may yet return, which would mean Terrence Ross could slide back to the small forward again, albeit in likely a reserve role, which would mean James Johnson could likely play the reserve Power Forward. That still leaves power forward in a weaker position than last season, which was one of the worst positions league-wide for the Raptors last season. Reserve centres are practically non-existent.

@Paulie - I haven't been following much, but FA signing hasn't even started yet, so I would worry. Yet(it is Raptors lol j/k).
Yo I sprayed coffee on my phone and lap. Thanks. :lol:
Every time he goes "to the left" now, you can sing that song & you are very welcome. :lol:

I would hold on to Ridnour until you do, then.

He used to average double figures & 5 assists 3+ seasons ago. The last couple seasons, he barely played half the season & just a quarter of the games. If he integrates well & they use him, he might be able to relive some of his former days.

Yonce and Yombo. :lol:

So, Stanley Johnson looks like a total baller. The guy is taking over Summer League.

And if you like it, don't forget to put a ring on it. :lol:

And also, FA is starting to slow down, here's an update. Not included: Pacers dumping Roy Hibbert on the Lakers.

The Raptors drafted a smart defensive point guard in Delon Wright, but secretly I think Toronto will sign Corey Joesph when the Spurs likely let him walk.

Boom! I called it!:P Well that shores up the Raptors at point guard now, even though he's still somewhat of an unproven commodity. I saw Lou Williams went to LA.

Looks like he's trade bait now, 4th string point guard at best.

So, apparently this is a thing.

Josh Smith...on the Kings...seriously?! :lol: Imagine that starting lineup, Rondo, Bellinelli, Gay, Josh Smith and Cousins. Or, perhaps even worse, replace Bellinelli with McLemore. Who the hell is going to shoot 3's and space the court? :lol: Ignoring all the arguments that'll take place between players and coaches and the front office.

According to a Facebook news feed note, if the Milwaukee Bucks don't have their arena deal approved, the team will move out of Milwaukee. Where would they move, though if they did move? Some of you may probably think of certain major cities where there isn't a pro basketball team. If they did move to such cities, imagine the [insert city name here] Bucks:

* St. Louis, MO
* Cincinnati, OH
* Columbus, OH
* Trenton, NJ
* East Rutherford, NJ
* Buffalo, NY
* Providence, RI
* Hartford, CT
* Pittsburgh, PA
* Baltimore, MD
* Nashville, TN
* Jacksonville, FL
* Montreal, Quebec, Canada

I stuck with certain Eastern cities assuming the Bucks would stay in Eastern locales. But if they wanted to go elsewhere- especially Western cities, I'm not sure where else they'd go. I kind of hope the Bucks don't leave Milwaukee just to maintain the Minneapolis/Milwaukee rivalry. I also would prefer them stay in the Midwest or within mostly that region.

[UPDATE] Included the notion of staying in the Midwest.

It has to be Seattle. Seattle badly needs a team. Minnesota, Memphis, or New Orleans can move to the east where they should be, cause that's where they are on the map.

David West went to the Spurs.:crazy: *Spurs free agency* "MAKE IT STOP!!!:nervous:"
God, they are starting to look like the new Miami Heat. You know I love them, but I kind of have strike two on them already this summer. I may be rooting for an underdog in 2015~16 Playoffs. :crazy:

Makes sense to me, except I don't want Jason Kidd that close to me. Bucks would never move though, would they?

Dante Exum rolled his ankle really bad in Summer League play today.:( Brock Motum played pretty damn bad in Summer League play today.:( Exum did have 20pts though.:) I bought tickets to see Ben Simmons play in Brisbane in a month's time today.:) Mo Williams signed with Cavs today, which you'd think will eat up most if not all of Delly's minutes.:(

I hope they wouldn't move, new and exciting is nice, but it's always sad when a storied franchise suddenly cuts ties with its lineage.

That would really suck if the Bucks fans lose their team. They've got a great, young roster capable of making some noise in the coming years.

Show up to the games then. :lol: Packers fans do.

Seattle had a great young team and they took off for Oklahoma. :ill:

No one showed up to Hawks games either, til' they had a decent win percentage going & started making a lot of noise. Granted it was a bunch of bandwagon fans, but the same can apply to the Bucks. There's a solid young core there to bring people in.

I totally spaced that Herb Kohl sold the team. I know nothing about the current ownership, and I suppose it's entirely possible they actually are looking to move. :dopey:

I hate the Sonics(miss hating on them), and their fans are even worse, but that was a kidnap job enabled by the backstabber owner Schultz. On one hand, I'm not gonna lie, it chuckles me to see the former Sonic fans get screwed, but it is also sad to see loyal fans get cheated of their home team the way they did. Clay Bennett & Howard Schultz = Zero class way they handled that.

Celtics traded for David Lee, what they think they're contenders now?
