Agent, so far have spent over a grand checking the house out. In the 90's in NZ they decided to use untreated timbre in the framework of houses with plaster over polystyrene cladding. Basically if any water gets in, you're farked! Just sick of all the BS involved. Over 500 bucks for someone to put a water probe on a wall. Robbery.

hence the influx of masterscraftmen and A grade chippy's from NZ in the 90's

Really looking forward to sundays race although im still off the pace lol . I hope to get a fair bit of praccy in tmrw. Ive been so busy with my new sim project, took many frustrating hours on ebay , but I finally got some listed :)

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/190834276287?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

Im thinking of giving one away...... its craaaaazzy prices...lol. Well not give it away but race for it :) Thinking of running a 4 round championship run over 4 weeks with extremely challenging conditions , you know comfort hards , 100% rain , no brakes, that sort of stuff. Entry would be free but limited in numbers and the prize going to the winner after 4 rounds.
One condition for the winner, he has to use and review the product , poor fella. It will take me a while to sort out the details , and will have to be open to Australians only (NZ if they pay freight) and to wheel users only. Damn I hear a lot of you say , but the aim is to get the wheel stand out there in use and get some feedback. So yas better go wheel shopping :P
Interest ? Ideas ?

fair enough mate lol , although I was under the impression that you guys could steer with your knees while eating , texting , rolling a joint etc . But with safety and all that ^&%$ in mind I guess , heres my numer 0406908834. lol. Give me a call whenever it suits mate

Lol.... Private message fulch.... I can see some dodgy texts comin your way now.

Nice rig set up there mate. good quality build fir a decent price. What is the stability like with the force feedback with wheels?

He dose all of that fulch, it's more the movie his watching. He hates texting during the good bits.

LOL Mik , That number is now attached to 2 small businesses and 50 dodgy mates, Im game , or insane . its all good

The unit is made out of a combination of light and heavy gauge steel and is pretty heavy. Just over 10kgs for the base model. Combined with 2 x 400mm feet with heavy duty rubber mounts , this sucker is solid. It handles force feedback very well and doesn't move around at all. If you hit a rally track with full FB it is possible for the unit to shift a little bit which I found 2 rubber door stops (the angled door stop) which I will make available for roughly $5 each inserted under the front foot and you will not shift the unit no matter what :) Any rubber door stop from any hardware store will do.
After the hopefull sale of a few units via Ebay , we are going to start work on a rear section , which clips to the front section with ease turning it into a full simulator including race seat which can then be easily split in half for storage or to return to the base (drag to your lounge ) model

Well guys had the silva back a bit earlier than expected, but still needs a bit of work. Hoping to get it sorted bye race day.
Fulch the rig looks great mate, would put my name down for one but I have a NCR Racing approved rig.
Will be online for most of the night have a ACS race to do tonight, but have time after for a truck around. :)

Frutti frutti frutti, if there's one thing I've learned in life is there 2 words that don't mix in the English language. You know thats why they invented cars. Hope you have fun on your run. We will try and have fun racing. Bummer ya going to miss it. You could pretend to pull a hammy when you get out of bed this morning. Really impressed with ya wheel stand fulch, all the best with it hope u kick some serious butt with it. Good luck today guys its going to be a blast.

Ahahahahaha poor frutti you got that right emu fun and run dont mix glad its not me with the amount i smoke would prob miss next weeks race too. It is a shame you wont be racein m8 you were flying the other night have FUN on ya RUN.

Hey fellas. I'm out too. Stuck in Mackay longer than planned, like Frutti my wife made sure I wasn't having too much fun and we went to a wedding where we didn't know anyone but the groom and bride.

That is a bummer dude

well i was really looking forward to spa, but the tires don't work well with weather, softs are faster than inters until about 50% track wetness and then they lose all grip, not really gradual just all of a sudden.
So after qualifying 5th and thinking it will be a fun race, its just a waste of time.
I guess its my own fault for not testing all different tires in different track wetness % conditions but I just don't have that much time.

First I like to thank everyone in the series. Also thank you to the friends I have made as well. At the moment I have made the decision to pull out for the rest of the season. And unsure about the next. This decision is purely about being happy and that's all it is. So take care and see you around.

bugga. the rain fell and so did i lol. smashing job by vh flogged us. good job by all considering the conditions and you all should be comended for not giving up. kept catching up to mr fewzo but then would try to hard and loose it. very soory to mr fulch who sufferd from one of my many turns on the merrygo round. thank god no rain next weekend lol. next week is a sprint round at trial mountain. hope to see you all then

Well , my lack of practice showed !! qualified 7th with what felt like a record breaking lap lol. You boys are nuts:dopey: Thought Id be tricky and start on softs as it wasn't too wet and drying at the start. Playstation tripped out when joining track to grid up. Think I may have to delete movies and music off it. I could hear my car on the track , but had a black screen with GT logo for like . 20 secs. When I got a screen , I was 200metres past pole and into the wall lol. Sorry for what may have went on when I was blindfolded:scared:. Race started and immediately got wetter , my softs were useless past 30%. Gotta disagree with your stats there Hat. Did 4 laps and had to pit for ints. I had a very lonely race until I decided to pit AGAIN for wets at about 60%. That's when my race began. Head down and rear end out :) I slowly worked my way from 10th up to about 6th where I closed in On chance and Luke. I could see chance with 2 handfuls of opposite lock , and luke disappearing in the distance, so I kept the foot in and drove around the outside of chance saying "hang onto it hang onto it mate" Unfortunatly we tangled and an excursion on the sand saw luke pull away again. A few misshaps from a few driver infront and luke and I fought for 4th into the last chicane. Great last lap , the most exciting one all race for me. Thanks boys :)

upon reviewing the replay, two stewards have decided to issue a penelty to mr sid. on lap 2 at the the chicane after the straight up the hill, mr sid has tried to outbraked 1st and 2nd coming from 3rd position. in doing so, has tangled with both of them. i really hate to take this action as this is a freindly series but i want this to serve as a reminder to all of us. our actions can lead to some one else not enjoying the series as much as we all do. and please remember, its not where we finish, its the fun we have along the way. i know i finished 7th but my battle with luke and trying to catch fewzo was worth all the frustration and pain. thanks again for turning up and sticking out such a painful race out. you guys are what make it great. can only hope you enjoyed todays challange as much as i did and dam vh were you in a hovercraft lol

That would be a real shame Rage. You just got a wheel to. I would have thought the fun factor to be increasing... Hope you change your mind mate would hate to loose such an important NCR racer.

I have decided to quit too, thanks all. Please erase me from here, thanks all so far its been memorable. WILL HOPE to catch some of you good friends online for sure :) laters.

You can also find me on www.raceonoz.com if interested. Cheers

spot on fulch. rager youve done so much work to make series so good. think i speak for all the guys you and chance are the back bone of this great race series and would hate to see you leave. if any of us can do more to help and ease duties on race day so u can enjoy more let us know. all we want is to have fun. new wheel will take time and feels like your going backwards for a while but stick with it m8.
