upon reviewing the replay, two stewards have decided to issue a penelty to mr sid. on lap 2 at the the chicane after the straight up the hill, mr sid has tried to outbraked 1st and 2nd coming from 3rd position. in doing so, has tangled with both of them. i really hate to take this action as this is a freindly series but i want this to serve as a reminder to all of us. our actions can lead to some one else not enjoying the series as much as we all do. and please remember, its not where we finish, its the fun we have along the way. i know i finished 7th but my battle with luke and trying to catch fewzo was worth all the frustration and pain. thanks again for turning up and sticking out such a painful race out. you guys are what make it great. can only hope you enjoyed todays challange as much as i did and dam vh were you in a hovercraft lol

And this is Bull**** if you want to give me a penalty for that, why don't you give yourself a penalty too? in this wet weather there is high risk people outbrake , give me a dry race anytime and you know how I race. I don't agree with you - I raced so hard to reached 2nd all of the remaining laps and now a penalty gets me to 7th? ah ah. Not happy. Btw, got better things to do, thanks and no thanks.

Cmon Sid , your welcome here mate and your a good clean fast racer. I just watched the replay before I posted , and I have to agree with the stewards here. Don't take it personal mate , just cop it on the chin and race on. You are known for clean and fast , but this was a mistake that was not redressed. Mik lost many positions due to your mistake and the rules clearly state to redress in that situation. I really don't think the stewards had a choice mate. If they let that go , whats the point of rules ? Suk it up and come race next week bro. Its drop your worst round remember

upon review at this stage i am going to have a short brake from the series. at this time this could mean up to next session. i have committed to next session. at this time i will not race this weekend and review my situation after that each week until next session. this a personal decision it has nothing to do with anything about the game or the people i have met online if anything that would make me stay. i would like to catch up with your online or some of you by phone. have fun guys and remember your for the race against each other not to the be the winner, but it feels good though. lol

That's a shame Rager. I've noticed you getting quicker and quicker each race.

And as for Sid, from what I saw (and I was directly in front) he tried to avoid the prang, not out brake to get into first. He tried to let me past after the incident and then I clipped him. Seantatt def didn't lose any time out of it, and Sid and I was a racing incident, not an out braking manoeuvre as we came together after the corner. I only lost 2 or 3 which I regained half a lap later. My opinion is if he is to be penalised, a grid drop next race and not position drop would of been best. But, thems are the rules and we have to live with it.

Dont give up Sid. Your too good a driver just to get up and walk off over a silly little incident.
I expect to see you at Trail Mountain at 1:45pm on Sunday.

i am sorry you feel this way mr sid, but perhaps i should explain the action i have taken. i the previous race at grand valley, and before the dropout, i was behind you and you did that same thing to vh in the dry. outbraked and pushed him off the track. you said sorry and said i wouldnt happen again. as this race was restarted because of the dropout. i could not take action or give a waring as this did not count. i did ask rager to send you a pm and explain just to settle down a bit and take your time when overtaking. i have also made post on here to explain what i expect as i have seen this coming but if people do not want to take a hint then im sorry. this series was never designed as a winner take all series, it is a chance for a group of mates to get together and enjoy some online racing without the risk of geting hit and worried about winning at all cost mentality, and sofar this is what we have had. people make mistakes and i can live with that. but your move was from way to far back so if you take a chance you have to accept the outcome. just life i guess

i understand your view mr vh but three people all agreed the move wasnt on.

Thanks Mik , and yes that's exaclty what happened, I was so close to both of them coming into the turn (Sean and Mik) and I completely missed the brake marker (Thanks to the wet weather and draft shower) and kept to the inside right away to avoid hitting both of them and do my best between sean in front and mik on the rear side end to me.. and it was hard to see him there and I slowed down almost and thought mik recovered instantly. Sean was not affected -

NO CHANCE passed me seeing that I slowed down. I DID NOT speed away, I was slowing down looking at VH.

If you think I did and Chance you will see you couldn't have overtaken me that easily. Sad you thought other wise and give me a penalty of 7TH PLACE of all the rest of the laps I worked so hard for.

Also you giving a penalty without consulting the affected parties first needs to be changed - I believe all the affected drivers (in this case Sean, VIK AND ME) need to be consulted before any ruling.

just life i guess

Yeah just life i guess, speaking of Grand Valley where Mik had no problems with it.. was just life I guess. Where you belted Fulch in the wet race yesterday and apologised .. just life I guess.

P.S : Rager could have sent you a warning too for that.

Great race on the weekend guys, alot of fun and very intense, I stuffed my race by staying on inters the whole race. In 4th with 10 laps to go, saw Chance Fluke and the Fulch appear on the map and thought they had not a hope in Hades of catching me.....soooo wrong. Chance you shoulda had me 3 times, unlucky m8. Sid, i didn't see the accident, but no mater what happened we all know that you are clean and super fast m8, and i'm sure we would all hate to lose you from the series, I reckon i do alot better in normal racing than i have been showing in the series but i only do it for the fun, so no matter. It's all for 🤬 and giggles m8. Rage, I hope all is well, will be sad not to race with you, but you should do whats right for you, youv'e been nothing but a top bloke since i started racing with you and i hope it continues m8. i"ll call you about your beep-beep barina soon.:)

ok final post on this. I did not outbreak myself or push Mr fulch I spun it. we hit as I was trying to save the car not pass him. on lap 4 you hit me and pushed me off track and didn't wait so we will address the penalty to that then. from now everyone is a steward. if you believe some has broken the rules, you pm me after the race. the two stewards will review any incidents (an no I'm not a steward). after that if a penalty needs to be handed out I will. is that a fairer system to all. please comment

Agree with this -

Thanks for the reply mate.

I apologise for the rant - sounded pretty angry there and unprofessional to everyone who read. Sorry but I will just suk it up.

I think that's a fair system. I don't think anything necessarily needs to be investigated unless there is a complaint , and people don't need to feel like a whinger when putting in a complaint if they feel hardly done by. We do need some rules also for the new guys to follow. Maybe in some cases a grid penalty next race could be considered as a penalty but that decision made by the 2 stewards.
Its not 2 guys judging everyones driving , its all of us upholding the great NCR driving standards.

Mr Sid you have just proven what a truly great man you are and have my full respect, but you always have. as this is the first time I have ever run a race series. if any of you have any ideas or tips, things you want, like or don t like please let me know. gt5 is like sex. you can have it on your own, but it's far more fun to have someone to share it with lol

if all agree Mr Sid points will be reinstated. as this week is a sprint round, he can take his rear of grid start penalty and Indy the following weekend. please vote

Sounds like a plan chance. Thats a yes from me. Top job to vh and sid you both did so well in very hard conditions. Was already thinking of cracking a beer on lap 29. Gotta stop doing that. Lol. Was it just me or was that tuffer than monza in the wet? Felt slipperyer.

The best would be Points re-instated and a 5 place grid start penalty.

For the next series maybe look at weight handicapping the top 2 finishers or handicapping anyone who wins by more then a certain time (ie 20sec)

I have no problem re-instating Sids points and applying grid penalty. Glad your staying Sid. Race on :)

First of all great racein by you guys, super fast. my race turned to ****e when i thought it would be a good idea to start on wets only to see the track was drying out so i took another gamble and threw some softs on then got wetter so lost a lot of time there but it dryed out to about 25% and was thinking this is going to workout not to bad lol wrong again the rest is history. please dont check my antics on replay stewards or ill be the champ for most mistakes in a single race. Had to park it though my bro called in and only usally see him at christmas didnt want to be to rude. It might be time for another social race to have a bit of a laugh. SID you gotta keep racein m8. RAGE see you when your ready m8.

I agree Emu. Man it felt like it was 100% and climbing , Got a great shot to post up showing what does look like hail !!

As this Sunday is Mother Day, I will not be able to start the race until 3 o'clock. So that leaves us three options;
1. Do race Saturday night.
2. Some one else runs the race for me.
3. Postpone until next week end.
Also many of you may have family commitments.
Please let me know what you like to do.

Postpone would be great for me, been trying to work out how to juggle it to keep all happy. Could do Saturday night but know a few of u guys are in other series so that would be out.

Id go for either Friday night , or sundays fine for me. I know Friday wasn't an option but might free up guys that are racing other leagues on saturday
