Not looking good for me this weekend re race Mr Chance, Mrs has decided to have another Sunday off(??!??!!??) and my ps3 connection is becoming almost unbearable..Maybe Auts can fly over and sort the thing out for me (theres a free hamburger and soda pop in it for ya son)...but please pencil me in mate as usual and if I can get there you know I will..So good luck to all and catch you online...peace..love ..and mungbeans

Did you get the ethernet cable sorted out mate?

It's been raining here for 2 days straight, plenty of rain practice in the Mondeo.

plugged Ethernet cable into back of router then plugged into the back of ps3 but the hole(for want of a better word) is slightly bigger than Ethernet plug:dunce:....i'll keep mucking around.....also looks like im good for race today hooorrraaayyyy!!!..till my ps3 disconnects anyways:grumpy:

Great racing tonight chaps, loved every second of it. Even the falling off the track multiple times part :D
 
Thanks for the racing on the last few laps aut was very good. I will put lap times up on Thursday. You bogans are grate to race with and around just love it.
 
Awesome racing today guys. Thanks for putting on the event. My race went a little like this.
Started with accidently pressing my gas pedal and leaving the pits before my qual time lol. Im sure you noticed me sitting at the pit exit. Wasnt off to a great start but my young fella was issuing words of encouragement from the passenger seat of my lounge. Qualyied on pole , couldnt believe it and there was high fives flying all over the front seat of the lounge.
Race started and I took the issued minute to see if the track was drying or dampening before a last second dash in to the garage to throw on some wets. I think the surface was at about 42% when race started ?
Didnt get off the line to well ( never do) but that may have been due to tyre selection and % at the time. Nice driving into turn 1 by the whole field :) Tucked into 3rd behind VH then Gary and ran there for 2 laps before slipping past Gary. about 5-6 laps in I caught up to VH who was obviously wishing he was on wets at this stage and once I made the move , he flew into the pits for wets. Was a pretty lonely race from here and I tryed to keep the head down and not let VH catch up which I knew he was capable of. Sure enough he was steadily closing the gap and I made a real effort to speed up a bit but stay consistant. Came up to put a lap on chance ( wets were about 24 laps old by now , VH about 18) and that was no easy task. just got into the draught after a few laps chasing chance and got past but could not get away !!! I think after a few laps Chance realised he was in the middle of an unfolding battle and got right out of the way of me and VH ( thanks mate)
2.5 laps to go and VH was about 6 secs from me.... so I hit the wall. Noooooo. Now he was on me and there was 2 laps to go. probably the 2 most awesome laps ever!!!! Both our tyres were shot and like most, way innapropriate for the surface % lol , but there was no way I was pitting. That was really an epic 2 laps Mik and I know you hate the draught , It did save me on the last 2 laps. Coming into the final turn on the last lap , I ran wide "accidently" and opened the door for Mik. Shifty move I know bit lined me up perfectly for a draught over the line(learnt that from certain Pom the other night)
Great racing Mik and very respectful racing in worsening conditions.. FUN !!!
 
Great race today guys. Congratulations to podium placers. Had some great battles during the race. Great to have u back frutti really enjoyed our dice. Nice work today rager u did well. Sorry to manoc for my spin which had me facing the wrong way when you came round the corner, was madly trying to get out of your way. Well done to the poms for staying up till 4am for race start. Thanks to chance and rager for running it all. Cheers all it was a blast
 
had a shocker again. don't worry Mr fast knew what was going on I thought I would stay with you and work with so I could catch up a place or two. but in the end thought I was holding you up and didn't want to ruin the end so backed out and let you and Vh go to fight it out. slowly getting better with the wheel but takes time. good work all and see you this sunny Sunday lol
 
I did sort of dive under you a little in slight desperation to get away from VH, Thanks for the room there mate and I was enjoying the bump draught here and there. was getting a little worried that we might tangle and relaxed again when you backed off. :) Only to make a mistake and have an epic battle with VH for 2 laps , no relaxing there lol. Great crew here at NCR

Yeah, well done on third place, tried my hardest to get across the line first, if only I'd got on the gas .005 earlier...

I was screaming out for it to start raining again, tyres were getting a bit worn by the end. Excellent racing, had to concentrate so hard! I may not be able to race this weekend, got a friend coming to stay, will have to see how I get on
 
Twas a great race one and all, particularly emu and for a few laps mr auts..my race started ok, mid field jostleing(spelling mmm?) settled into 8th I think..then had a fast closing autech to worry about..i think we parried for about 6 or 7 laps, I lost traction somewhere and that was it, auts pulled away never to be seen again..so I then settled down in 9th with a fair gap on emu, concentrating on being smooth and consistant waiting for the rain to stop, but it just didn't seem to stop!..all was going well until I noticed emu closing in..emu and I had a ding dong for about 10 laps I think until he finally got past and slowly but surely pulled away,, well done mate...so back to about 10th I think and I was trying to figure out what I could do regarding tyres that may get me back on the hunt..so lap 57 track was at about 50% wet and going down..i thought i'll do a sneaky pit run , slip on rs tyres and go for it, so left the pits and car felt fkn horrible, undriveable to the point that when I touched the brakes the car would just skew off the track, went into the pits and it seems I was on inters not softs, by this stage track was down to 29%, changed to rs and car felt terrible , so back to pits and sure enough I had inters on again!??..anyways by that stage it was all over for me but I was curious about why I couldn't put on softs?? that was my race......congrates mr fulch for an amazing win and well done to the whole crew for competing faultlessly in a difficult race..cheers guys...again sorry no paragraphs lol
 
u would have had soft on mate but when you enter the pits in rain events it recommends which tyre to put on as you enter. I started on inters and when I entered pit lane it had preselected wets. just a heads up for all of of you for spa lol.
 
Just for future reference could u use some photos in your post as I am only a bogan and illiterate lol
 
Yeah despite qualifying 4th, I threw that out the window at the first chicane on the firstlap, found myself in second and was just a tiny bit enthusiastic on the throttle, ended up back on track in 13th, lol. Sorry to Manoc who I think I may have tapped re-entering. Good to see you had fun Frutti!

u would have had soft on mate but when you enter the pits in rain events it recommends which tyre to put on as you enter. I started on inters and when I entered pit lane it had preselected wets. just a heads up for all of of you for spa lol.

ahhh ok, it must have just been too wet still for for softs to work:indiff:

I did have a ball mr auts..havn't concentrated that hard for yonks..Ethernet has sorted out my whoes it would seem and im forever gratefull:tup:
 
What can I say about Sundays race... With Gearbox failure (visitors) I just had to pull over and get outta the way, was do'in OK too... :(
