I don't mind a short career mode (prefer it instead of a long winded grind actually), as long as you can mess around with all the unlocked stuff afterwards. But because of the 5 car limit even messing around is going to be limited :banghead:

Well, apparently it's possible to complete the game in under 10 hours. Not sure how I feel about this.

Honestly is not hard to complete a game fast if you rush through it.
The guy in the picture probably teleported to every single event and didn't really bother with customizing his cars/building them. Probably played just story races non-stop, and if we go by that we can say is not really a short game since you'll be spending time doing other things rather than just story races.

Thursday, the 29th.

Good find - but you know what? It says nothing about a change in exhaust NOTE so this is proberly just the added pops and crackles they confirm here.

I know it's mad! But I'm not convinced before I hear it myself.

The reason is some people think they can confirm an audible difference in exhaust sound because they can hear the turbo sound after doing upgrades.

You're supposed to change the muffler through visual tuning.

You guys should go and read stuff on reddit . Theres not even bumper selection for foxbody . NO BUMPER SELECTION . Is this the deep customization ? You cant even change the bumper . I dont know you guys but im really pissed . I think im gonna cancel my pre order tomorrow . Thanks ghost games ! You literally ****ed a bright potential game . .

^That is why you never pre-order games. Screenshots and trailers never show the full picture.

EA will never learn. Even if they added more bodykits at a later date, it doesn't bode well for the series future if they can't ship a complete game within 2 years. Fans won't wait longer for another game, and if they go back to their yearly releases quality will suffer again.

At this point it looks like Forza Horizon has taken over the title of Arcade King from NFS. They should just let the series die already.

As for me,I don't think I would buy this one.NFS MW 2012 was like burnout series,Rivals had very short career and only 22 cars for cop and racer DLC excluded.

Last series of NFS I liked was HP2010 and shift. The MW 2005 was a legendary game,I don't think EA can make any better than that in terms of gameplay.

It's a shame people are complaining about 1 or 2 cars having less custom options or not the ones they wanted. They are going to miss out on a fun game.

I was under the impression that only 1-2 cars have deep customization, and most of the rest only have 1-2 bodykits.

When the game is marketed as having "deep and extensive customization" you kinda expect more. At least have 5+ bodykits per car, for every car (except maybe Ferrari, that's understandable).

Then again, we don't know how much the Day 1 patch will bring. If it ends up fixing everything then all is good. If not, no biggie, I'll still buy the game, but a later date with lower price that matches its content and quality.

We don't even know how far into the game it considers to be 100%. There could still be a bunch of races and challenges and hidden stuff that does not count towards 100% completion, and then there's all of the trophies. As far as customization goes, as long as I can create my 5 cars how I want, I'll be happy.

As I briefly alluded to on the previous page, I'm pretty sure what he posted only represent the rep level for each section. Don't quote me but I bet you could max out the style level by just drifting and donutting around everywhere. Like in Forza 6, you can reach level 300 if you want, without ever touching a career mode race. So to me at least it's flawed to assume he has completed it.

He has completed the game. 100% in each category means doing every mission (the colored exclamation points) for that category. I know this because I have completed the Speed and Outlaw portions of the career mode and when I viewed my stats, it said I have 100% for those two.

That's fine then. So it was a speed run? I mean I'm at 10 hours and haven't quite hit 30% yet.

Saw an NFS article from EA about how you can find trucks with parts on it around the map. If you found it you can buy it in the garage. Maybe those are another bodykits for some of the cars?

Downloading now as I couldn't wait to listen to those engine sounds myself!

My hopes are up!

But people are saying that the engine sounds are way to low and you have to turn the music all the way down and put the speakers option on TV to even hear the engine sounds loud.

Is that true?

In the beta I could hear my cars pretty clearly over the music at default levels.

No. It's been all performance parts. I seriously doubt they hid a liberty walk bodykit in the back of a pickup with how easily you access the rest of the kits.

OK so just to give you guys an idea on some of the cars I went through my garage and counted the body mods, bear in mind I haven't unlocked diffusers, cannards or mirrors yet.

Nissan GTR (old one, '71?)
No hoods
2 front bumpers
2 front splitters
No skirts
7 rear fenders
9 front fenders
9 head lights
No body kits
2 tail lights
2 rear bumpers
No trunk lids
4 spoilers

Porsche 911 carrera S 1996
2 splitters
No front bumpers
No hoods
2 body kits
No skirt
No fenders
No rear bumpers
2 trunk lids
4 spoilers
No lights

Mazda mx5 '96
5 splitters
6 front bumpers
3 hoods
2 headlights
1 body kit (hard top)
5 front fenders
5 skirts
6 rear fenders
2 rear lights
4 rear bumpers
3 trunk lids
3 spoilers

Subaru Impreza 2010
1 body kit
No hoods
2 front bumpers
5 splitters
2 skirts
No fenders
2 rear bumpers
No trunk lids
3 spoilers
No lights

Something to note with the Impreza, there's a varis front splitter which is incompatible with any available front bumpers or body kits which is a small hint to me that there might be more to come. So I don't even know what that splitter looks like as it can't be used with any other bumper or kit combo.

I cancelled my pre order . Game still in my sight though . But i just want to see what is theese "free content" things . If they release contents like bumpers headlights bodykits and more customization options ( like i said some cars dont even have bumpers ) im going to buy this game again . And i hope those who pre ordered the game will enjoy the game :)

I wonder how much the M3 "GTR" will get me, since I'm just selling it for money for another car.

Speaking of which, anyone know roughly what % of the value you will get if you sell a car? Hopefully over 80%.

Could you make a thread and do this with all the cars?
