You say that, but the fact that there are was just as much, if not more, performance customization/tuning on the older games. Look at Underground 2. They are both one in the same, concerning the direction of the game. Flashy cars, and street racing.

If that's your apology, I'm fine with it. I suggest not bringing up someone's personal experiences, if you don't have any idea about them.

I didn't mean it to be an insult, but yeah it was stupid.

Anyway, I 'm not arguing with anyone that there where more parts is U2, but most of the parts was the same for every car and that is just laziness. I rather have lesser parts that's unique to each car than a bunch of parts that is the same to all cars.

Maybe I'm just getting old but I'm past the flashy neon fast and the furious Underground stuff and instead want a more race/stance look. And if they continue to update the game at this rate hopefully they will please most of us.

In terms of the kits, it may be lazy, but they still had to model them out for each individual car, it wasn't exactly just a copy/paste job. It might take just a bit more time to model out individual kits, but it wont be far off in comparison. So there's no need to just throw out that just because they are actual kits, that it'll be impossibly difficult to make them in a reasonable time frame, then making generic ones.

Most of this game is just based off the ricers of today. All it is, is a different trend following the same ideals. Bolted on over fenders, stretched wheels, mostly over-the-top gaudy body kits(don't get me wrong, I still like them). All in all, it was about being flashy back then, and it still is now. It's just that what was aesthetically pleasing back then isn't the same.

I myself was pleasantly surprised by the update, and if they continue to roll them out in that fashion then I might just pick this game up before it hits the bargain bin. I'm still waiting for a few things to rectified before that happens, though.

The problem is that neither version that you posted is going to take more time to develop than the other. Both cases would still need R&D and likely the same modelling time. So that point is moot.

I'm not so sure they'd need the same modelling time myself. The cars in NFS 2015 are much higher detail than those in U2 and would likely take longer to make, especially as they're having to reference real parts this time round. It still doesn't excuse it though  It's not like they didn't know they would take longer!

I understand what you're saying, but the discussion was about the implementation of said kits in this current game. I agree, it would take longer, but I don't think it would be impossibly longer like some are making it out to be. R&D would have to be done in both cases, and I think modeling 10ish generic kits for every single car, rather than implement a fair amount for every car.

As we are on the topic of form vs function, I'd be interested to see how much kg of downforce these popular aftermarket parts actually produce compared to race car versions of these cars (Rocket Bunny NSX vs Super GT NSX for example).

Diversity is good. I don't see why people always complains about more stuff added to the game. If it doesn't suit your tastes, just don't use it. But at least other people have the option.

Yeah, I enjoyed it alot more then I first thought so they did something right.

I don't think anyone don't want more stuff added but some want them to put a litte effort on each car instead of a copy/paste solution. They advertised the customization way to much to get away with the few cars/parts that we where able to customize, just hoping they will continue to add stuff to the game.

Ah, I misread your original post, sorry about that.

What's the point of scissor doors anyway if you can't even open the door in game?

I'm talking about having scissor doors in NFS 2015.
Don't see how there is any difference between what he posted and what you asked. Just like the sound systems, it was a neat little thing. They aren't necessary, but it's something to do.

Dont get mad at me because of the comparison but midnight club la's customization was awesome if you ask me . If you want to rice your car in mcla so be it . If you want smooth and clean look here you are . It was for anyone . Even if you dont want to rice your car it was a great feeling to know theres lot of choices for customization . I thought nfs 2015's customization will be like this . Because they teased us like this . Thats why i canceled my preorder . Sorry for the average/bad english tho :)

Started my free trial. Outside of the customisation, I'm not sure if it's feeling that interesting to get as a present this Christmas. How varied does it get? Constant street races in the city?

You do get to do some Initial D-esque drifting in the countryside other than unadulterated street racing.

How in the 🤬🤬🤬 can I beat the third Eddies challenge(baby steps, Medium)?! I've tried F40, Aventador and 2.8 RSR, fully modified with best possible parts, no win.. I can nail lap after lap in the 35s range and then the damn AI puts in 34.xx lap..

I think you need to take advantage of the rubberbanding. Try going slow on the first lap and then go fast in the second lap.

If you really want to be specific, then High Stakes would be the first, as it was the first NFS to have car upgrades (although limited) and the C5 Corvette was in that game.

Does anybody remember Underground Rivals?

I did have Underground Rivals when I briefly owned a PSP. To be honest, I felt it was incredibly bland and without any real personality, much like all the other handheld versions of NFS games. The only real gimmick that stood out were the inclusion of a few classic muscle cars, and even that wasn't great because the bodykit selection still ended up making them all look no different to the riced Neons and Focus' you see at the start of the game.

 Oh....didn't know that. Maybe I'll rephrase my question. "What is the first NFS game of the Underground Era to feature customizable Corvettes?" Thanks for pointing that out.

But seriously, does anybody remember Underground Rivals?

Yeah, the only new additions to the game are the Mustang Fastback, Mustang SVT Cobra and Corvette C5 and also that's where premade bodykits started to appear and it led to the disappearance of individual body parts until Carbon for a brief time since it introduced Autosculpt to the game and it would once again disappear until NFS2015 came.
