The name "Underground Rivals" rings a bell but never played it. It didn't occur to me to check Underground Rivals because the other Underground games didn't have a Corvette.... And maybe I forgot about it. :P

For me it's like this game didn't much get attention during its release but had good scores and good sales so its more of a sleeper success where a game wasn't much hyped and didn't get much attention but at the end, it had its success.

Regrettably.
Almost Rivals was a full game and not with "free updates" to complete a short and uncomplete game.
NFS 15 It´s a wonderful game, yeah, but is a half game.
- We need a IA, there´s no IA.
- We need Manual Gearbox OMG it´s a RACING GAME Manual transmission is obviously necessary.
- We need NEW CARS n new PARTS of customization.
- Garage of 5 places? WHAT IS THAT. 5 places to a half-game.
- We need lobbys for RACES or an option to create custom races in the map. Even The Crew can do this.
- And please. a NORTH mark in the map. The mark of garage can´t be the signal to orient you in the map.
I enjoy this game but guys of EA, GHOST GAMES..if you read me, please LETS UPDATE THIS GAME EVERY WEEK before April pc Version.

and, sorry for my english, Im spanish :)

He has to come back and clarify for us.

I haven't played the game in a while and I don't feel like to as the replay value is quite low. The latest update was good but I think they should try and incorporate an extended story line also maybe introducing a new character.

It doesn't bode well when the thread's activity has dwindled to nearly nothing just 1 month after the game is released. Heck, even the mobile game have more activity than the main game sometimes.

I think there's 3 things that they can fix to improve longetivity:
- More garage slots
- More customization parts
- More comprehensive online options

I've beaten the main career and Eddie's challenge and I have 60+ hours of playing time. I can't think of anything else to do now besides trying out cars that I didn't drive beforehand. I enjoy doing that but defenitely don't feel the need to play it everyday anymore.

To me this game is a disappointment.

I'm not much of a pimp my ride kind of person when it comes to NFS, but the game was advertised as the new Underground or what not. And the visual customization is a joke, it was probably mentioned here but even Midnight Club LA was way better. Some of the cars in NFS were featured in The Run, and the parts for those cars are just body kits from The Run cut to pieces featured as separate parts. Really lazy.
But most of the cars have nothing, nothing. Or maybe a spoiler or a body kit.
And don't get me started on the decal editor.

Now the police, the chases are very... well their not exciting. The cops are weak and easy to lose, only three cars at a time can chase the player. I was a big fan of the original Most Wanted police chases (not the game itself necessarily). They were amazing, and the music accompanying them was just great.
In this game for example you have an Outlaw path, right. Well not much of an outlaw if the cops don't remember you after a 10 minute chase (which I let them catch up to me) with 20k fine. After you lose them, the same cop you had the chase with will just drive by you like nothing happened.
Escaping from 15 cops to this:

Or from 3 to... what ever, it's not memorable.

Now this was suppose to be a re-boot of the series, the game that saves the franchise and has everything for every fan. But to me it the worst NFS ever created, well never played the PSP or the mobile games.
Back on point, what were they doing all this time? Trying to get Ken Block to appear in the game? Ghost games had an extra year to develop the game, it's inexcusable what we got.
And there is no incentive for player to do races together, say what you want about Most Wanted 2012 but that game was so great with it's multiplayer. Doing races and challenges, constantly driving somewhere and the competitiveness of it is what got me hooked. The break neck speed and beating a Bugatti in a ZR1 was such a rush.
They tried to go back to the tuning days (which some people call roots, like they forgot about 6 games that came before) but the buying public moved on, just like the Fast and Furious movies moved on from illegal street racing to heists and insane car stunts to keep it fresh.
The market for an Underground game simply isn't just strong enough as it use to be.
But the 20-something yr old's who never grew up kept crying for and Underground.

They done fu***d it up is all I'm saying.

Sorry for all mistakes. IA = AI.
I don't understand on what you mean by AI:
- We need a IA, there´s no IA.

Also, I think they only made 5 Garage spots so the garage wouldn't be crowded, so we can choose to make a build, an outlaw car, drift car or a speed one or 5 spots just for the cars of Icons.
I heard that EA will be making free dlcs for Need For Speed, tell me if its a lie, I'm not really sure. So be patient because they'll come.

Hmmm gamers in this generation are impatient. You know if you want a game that is complete, then you have to wait right? But some are too impatient and they be like "please release this now.....*sadface*" so because of that for the sake of fans who are impatient, they had to release the game despite not being complete.

So to put in simple terms.....
More content and complete game= More development time= Angry and impatient gamers

Less content and incomplete game= Less development time= Happy gamers

For me NFS2015 just needed more time but nope, EA. But at least their update schedule is similar to GTAV's schedule and its free just like GTAV. So just wait.

Every week? You have no idea how developers make new content. It's like games like League of Legends, Crossfire, DOTA that deserved updates every week but not like a game where not a lot I mean a lot of gamers who plays the game everyday.
I agree: us gamers are an overtly cynical and unpleasable bunch.
Agreed. There will never be a perfect fanbase where fans will accept a game.

You know, the hate that the NFS2015 is coming from elitists and Forza fanboys. I just noticed that.

I hate pay 70€ to have uncomplete game. Only I said that. If you are happy paying a uncomplete game, congratulations :) Ah, and I said: "I enjoy this game". Don´t lie when you say I am a hater gamer.

Happy/Hater Christmas ;)

Did I mention anything that you hate the game? I only said that the "every week update" is not a good idea since you don't know how developers make new content. That "every week update" should only apply to games which many people play. And by the way, I'm not counting you as a hater, but also I only mentioned type of gamers that hate the game. So I guess you didn't like how GTAV's content update goes? And don't tell me both games are different in terms of genre. They're still classified as games.

What do you mean by complete game?

What do you mean by complete game?
Complete as in no DLCs and updates. Just one perfect game. Now that's what I can dream of one game. What happened to the days of PS1, Xbox Original, PS2 days where devs push out games perfectly without needing for them to release additional content that wasn't in the game during release.

Going back to NFS, I can remember them releasing free car packs during High Stakes for the PC and also releasing special versions of NFS like Most Wanted Black Edition for the PS2 where you'll get a '69 Camaro from Carbon, a M3 GTR Street and custom versions of the Corvette C6.R, 911 GT2, Camaro, etc.

-Private lobby's
-turbo boost controller
-and more Nissan and bmw cars
:)

What do you mean by complete game?

A product/game that does not require updates as referring to AI, history or pillars in the game as permanent connection or technical sections like interface, camera, connection availability and gameplay ... History and gameplay must be collated and bound. ALWAYS updates to improve the content created and not to continue creating like a freetoplay game.. You have already paid the full product, Be Sure we will have the full product. Not piece by piece like Warframe, LoL, Warthunder and many more. I'm just saying: if I pay $ 70 for a full game that will free upgrades, will be to IMPROVE the game and not to complete an UNFINISHED game. EA should finish games before releasing them and then add free content to improve it should not be ending their work at the expense of our money. If EA don´t have much time, don´t lie with comments like "free update". It´s not a "free update", is the game that remains to finish.

Games in general seem to be growing out of what developers are capable of producing, hence why when the day comes for a game to be released to the public it is often plagued with issues which need to be fixed. I'm not saying it is right for faulty games to be released but when publishers have deadlines - especially before the holidays - you should expect post-release patches to be the norm in modern gaming.

Well, it is how the gaming industry is now. If you want a complete game devoid of DLC and/or microtransactions, you're better off getting an indie game.
