They can't add more spots in the garage because you know, garage cutscenes. I don't know if they can add those spots in garage cutscenes. Or they could just add those located at the back of the car you'll drive.

That is really not an issue. You don't have to display ALL of you owned cars in the screen at one time. Just have a random selection of the most recently used cars or most commonly used cars. The rest could have been sitting outside the garage in the parking lot for all we know.

Honestly I would trade live garage cutscenes for more spaces. I just want to own the cars I want to own. Period.

Oh. Anyway, that would be a nice option since the cops are dumb in Ventura Bay, they won't notice our cars in the parking lot. They don't even remember you after the cooldown.

I've actually been enjoying this game more than I'm willing to admit - aimlessly driving around in my S2000 with no HUD while listening to the soundtrack has been a joy - but I've already seen everything Ventura Bay has to offer. The map is just so begging for an expansion and to be explored further more it's not even funny. They should've been given more development time, not just for the map alone, but overall; physics, customization options, more cars, events and features.

For a game that focuses so much on car customization and car culture, it's mind boggling that there's no proper photomode offered for the player. There's absolutely no benefit to Need for Speed being always-online whatsoever and this being reason number one. It takes away a lot from the game and gives ---- all back. I genuinely feel that the Criterion influence has to die.

A lot of people also complain about the first 3 things you said. You can skip cutscenes by double pressing O. I don't know if you can skip, I'm not 100% sure but I saw at the bottom right of the screen that said "Press O to Skip" or some message I don't really remember.
I think you're able to skip them, but I'm just frenetically pressing the X button, so - I dunno'.

:P

Where are the damn cops in this game? I have been playing for hours and have yet to find one. It would be nice if they made them more common, but not to the extent of Most Wanted where there's a cop on every block.

It would be nice to have some dedicated locations for them as I'm trying to progress on Outlaw but can't find a cop car.

They're usually by the gas station. That's the police station the next street over. If they're not there.. just hit a couple blocks around the police station.

I was having the same issue...

There are dedicated spawn points for them. They're just randomized to keep them from being an annoyance but once you know where to look, you'll find one sooner or later.

This might help if you're looking for cops:

South Port
Looking to take advantage of some narrow roads? Head on over to South Port, the industrial hub of Ventura Bay. Dominated by the VB Petrochemical Company and the San Pedro Docks, it won’t be fronting any tourism campaigns for Ventura Bay, but it’s the perfect place for those looking to get away from the inner city streets and let off some steam.

With the Ventura Bay PD Headquarters in this part of town too it’s an Outlaw’s playground, with plenty of cops to mess with as you lead them on chases around South Port and beyond.

But yeah, it's quite dumb how hard it is to find cops in the game when Outlaw is one of the main play styles

This game needs an option to share liveries.

How come the best looking cars doesn't get more likes on the forums for most of the time. This post needs more likes mainly because of the amount of effort that whoever made those put into. I'm not trying to bash everyone's opinions who don't like it but usually this type of material ends up getting like 5-10 likes or more on GTP. 👍

How do I restart a race in the PS4 version?

Bring your phone up and press down, the options to restart and leave the race are there.

Side note, has anybody got any tuning tips for this game? I'm trying to tune my Evo for grip but no matter what I do it understeers like hell. I've got it to the point where it only understeers exiting corners, but it still drives me crazy and I'm still bouncing off walls and railings instead of hugging the apex. It's as if halfway through the corner the steering goes numb. The brakes are being a pain too, I keep altering the strength and bias but it feels like I've got constant brake fade.

Been working my way through the story in my Fox Body. My impressions haven't really changed from the closed beta, though the AI has changed since when I took part.

Some bits are still irritating like the button assignments and the cringy acting, but it's still quite a fun game.

Also bought an ND Miata and an E46 that I will be tuning later.

So if anyone sees a purple widebody Fox Body with GTPlanet on the right rear quarter panel when online, that's me.

I'm in the same boat as you i can't get a good grip tune. I wish someone would start a tuning thread to Share car set ups for Grip and Drift tunes.

Criterion's NFSHP did have a photomode and a really good one at that.

Yeah, I remember spending hours driving around Seacrest County and taking countless shots. As wonderful as it might have been, it was connected to Autolog and the pictures could only be retrieved through their website. Once that part of Autolog was shut down, the photomode became utterly useless. You could use it, but you could forget about uploading and/or saving those pictures.

Idiots.

I'm hoping it gets made BC on XBO and then I can transfer my save via the cloud and start all over again.

Is there a way to change gear ratios on this game?

The characters have mentioned testing my gearing with freeway runs on a couple of occasions and I'm not seeing an option to do it!

I've been wondering this too. From what I can gather though, the only thing related to the gearbox you can change is the clutch, which just lets you shift faster when you upgrade it.

Welcome to Grip tuned cars :cheers:

Funnily enough one of the daily challenge prizes was an adjustable gearbox (one day a few weeks ago), however you couldn't actually fit it to your car or something.

So it's in their but we can't do anything with it.

I like to keep my setups either in the middle of about three quarters to grip... then just turn the drift assists off, keep it tidy and work the handbrake.

930 has most customisation options. Magnus Walker's cars, RWB, 911 RSR etc.

993 has the RWB bodykit,
and a GT2 bodykit.

There's no 930 in the game, there's a classic 1972 911 2.8 that can be made into a 930, or so I think.
Considering that you can own 5 cars max, I wouldn't recommend buying the 1972 model because you can win it as Nakai's RWB or Magnus' 2.8 RSR and get it for free any time you want.
