I think it falls along the line of the parts in UG2 where all fantasy and universal. There where all fictional parts made up for the game. This time around, these parts are actually from specific vehicles, so it looks extremely odd to see a 180sx style bumper on a Honda Civic. The effort is there, it's just the execution.

The Civic with the 180SX bumper looks a bit out-there, just like a car built with random parts in Underground 2. I prefer my Civic to be cleaner.
But, IMO, the customization's execution was okay at best and ghastly at worst even in both Underground games. In my personal opinion, Carbon had the most well-executed customization options in the series, also thanks to the introduction of Autosculpt, a feature I'd love to see back.

I just hope this server issue isn't a common problem.

I've only got disconnected once or twice when I played. Are you on PS4 or Xbox?

I like how you come in with comments like these as if they're adding some sort of relevance or depth to the conversation . Unless @Arixant has complained about the UG games having more customization, I don't get the correlation between that and his comment. Essentially, it seemed like you just came in and grouped a couple of posts together, as if they are all said by the same person.

@Custom878's response reminded me of FailRace's video where he compared NFS 2015's customization with Underground 2's, to be honest. We all know how it went down.

It would be cool if you can check out the player and it shows who made the paint.

Just like with Horizon 2's car meets, eh? Not a bad idea. :)

The photomode, although basic, gets the job done and produces some wonderful shots.

I've already done a photo with the feature, with my Carrera RSR. I have to say, I'm proud of it. ^^
It's a very simplistic Photo Mode, but it's quite possibly the easiest to use I've ever seen in a game.

Regarding the Wrap Sharing feature, though, I like it, but it's missing a search option. IDK, though, maybe I haven't looked around everything.

I agree. I never said it bad, just that it looks odd. Autosculpt was a great idea at the time, and a feature they should definitely bring back.

I'm on the Xbox. I managed to get on with no problem on my first try. I played a bit, did one race, drove around and took some pictures, and that's all I managed to do before I got DC'd. I uninstalled it, reinstalled it, tried again, and it was all the same problem. I'm certain its not my connection either.

Yeah, that would be a little nifty addition.

It was the first thing I wanted to try out. I also did a little set to see how the camera works, and I was pleased with how they came out. Can't wait to find some new locales.

Autosculpt was one of the best features in the entire series. It really made the customization much more fun and engaging. Shame they axed it after Nitro.

The game's photo mode is rather simple, but incredibly easy to use. You should try making a photo over at Franklin Terrace, the sunrise there is gorgeous.

If I can get it started today, I plan to just cruise around for a bit and check out everything. My play time was so short that I still get lost in the main menu

Ventura Bay really is a good-looking locale, and even reminds me of Bayview in appearance and conformation. I would like to see some map expansions, though, you can even see some closed-off areas in the world map!

@ImaRobot: Even if someones likes his livery how he can find it to download it? Getting around to market the livery is useless.

Ok I'm gonna get some hate for saying this but it needs to be said, The wrap sharing is 🤬, I'm sure quite a few of you have seen my Marlboro M3 and like it so thanks to those people. 👍

But I'll tell ya what frustrates me the most, Somebody doing exactly the same thing and making a half-arsed job of it is number 4 in the most downloaded for that car, How many does mine have a big fat ZERO, What is the point of being able to share wraps that are actually made with some kind of care and attention when somebody with no clue can produce something vaguely similar in such a poor way and they get the credit for it ?

That said, A way to search for tags or even by PSN/XBOX name would have been nice as I've seen some great wraps posted on these forums but can I download them probably sure, If I spent hours meticulously looking for them through all the crap that has been shovelled onto the EA servers by morons with no clue at all.
I understand you and I complain on the other side. It would be good to be able to download some gtplanet livery or some of the ones on "show us your rides" topic. But instead I just see the popular ones that I dont understand why they are there since I can find better ones on the recent list and yes, if I want something specific, like a Gran Turismo 2 Race Modification replica all I have is to hope finding it in hundreds of liverys. I dont agree that this share system sucks, but it is incomplete [sharing logos would be nice too).

I agree. The Wrap Sharing system works like a charm, but the lack of a search function grinds my gears.

It looks like they are investigating on adding more garage space into the game. :dopey:

Hm. I wouldn't truly count on it, but the option to own more than 5 cars would be amazing. A great way to let you own more than 5 cars at a time while not sacrificing the live-action cutscenes featuring your car would be to make the garage store the last 5 cars you've used and have an option to open a list of your currently-owned cars to change your car when needed.

Yet he didn't mention that. I have yet to dabble in it, and that's why I said it would be nice if the implement a feature that lets you view who made what paint in public lobbies. He was mainly complaining about it being bad because he made a good livery, and a cheaper one is more popular than his.

As you'll see below where I edited my post about the wrap sharing.

I am glad to hear that. At first, I didn't think it would bother me but that all changed when I filled the allotted spaces up. It go me frustrated and I haven't gone back since.

I knew the 5-car-garage would have bothered me from day one, to be honest. I'm genuinely delighted to see it's being investigated on, but I'm not truly counting the restriction to be removed for the next update at least. Y'know... EA doesn't have a good track record when it comes to PR and listening to players (I'm not saying that they didn't listen to the NFS fans, though, and this very game proves that).
But hey, I'm however truly happy with my current four cars, which I've even given codenames to: Porsche 911 Carrera 2.8 RSR (codename Walpurgis (as in Walpurgis Night)), Lamborghini Aventador (codename Darius (the dude from Carbon, not the Persian shah)), Subaru BRZ (codename Shiva) and Nissan GT-R R35 (codename Amaterasu).

I like how people talk about the Underground games having more customization options than this game, then complain about this game using copied-and-pasted parts.

I do agree that we could use some more parts for some cars though.
Well Underground games were not my favourite, but at least they had like 100 parts for each car. Around 20 options for each part, side mirrors, bumpers, rear bumpers, spoilers, sideskirts etc. You get the idea, here I was trying to tune it up a little but had like 5 options -_-
I'll mention it again, they had two years to develop it and what we have it's just a joke. They just should continue Hot Pursuit 2010 or Most Wanted 2012, it seemed like a proper evolution for the original series, I partially blame people like BlackPanthaa who kept bitching about Underground series. Imagine if they really focused on a game that had a map like Redview and Fairhaven mixed together, awesome police chases, breakneck speeds and really put some heart to it then it would be a true NFS.

Yea, new license plates, Fairhaven plate ain't even the Fairhaven plate.

And Rockport's plate isn't the real Rockport plate. And so are Olympic City's, Bayview's, Palmont's, Tri-City's, Seacrest's and Redview's. /sarcasm
Y'know that these plates come from Rivals, do you? And they're re-imaginations. Back then, there were plain license plates like the original license plate in this game.

Well, at least there's one who recognizes the true roots of NFS (Rivals WAS based off of High Stakes after all)... But try telling that to an Underground fan, they would kill you on sight. I still stand with the point that Most Wanted 2005 is the best game in the series.

Underground 2 was the best NFS ever created, It's all about streetracing I have said it before and I'll say it again, Supercars do not belong in a streetracing game, Underground 2 got it right with cars like the Peugeot 106 etc, Not Porches/Ferrari/Other exotica, Down to earth cars that joe public could potentially own.

I implore anyone who doesn't agree with me to go watch the original Fast and Furious from 2001 that depects streetracing perfectly and youll see my points are true about it, Fast and Furious (First film) and Underground 2 nailed the whole streetracing thing, Once the supercars are gone NFS will be back at its best :)

What? an average Joe can't own a ZR1 or a Gallardo, maybe if you didn't spent so much time playing Underground and worked instead you could own a Ferrari, not a Peugot.

But where are my manners. This is a game dude, and NFS wasn't about racing puny cars and showing off spinners to your friends under a bridge in Long Island. It was about racing the best cars the world had to offer, through forests, highways and valleys, escaping the police in thrilling chases.
And Underground nailing the whole street racing? F&F? Where were the cops in U2 or the muscle cars, racing in the middle of downtown? really? Correct me if I'm wrong but in F&F they raced in some back streets, away from the main roads.

And who says Porsche or Corvette can't street race?

First off I'm not sure if that first paragraph is supposed to be a direct insult towards me, If it is then you are being simple and narrow minded, Because lets all own a Ferrari F40 oh wait but they only made a limited number and unless you happen to have been born with a silver spoon in the mouth or have an exceptionally high paying job they are completely out of the realms of possibility for the average person !

Look at the car list for the hero cars in the original Fast and Furious, Even for the sequel, Lets see shall we.
Mitsubisi Eclipse/Eagle Talon
Honda/Acura Integra Type-R
Mazda RX7
Toyota Supra
VW Jetta
Honda S2000
Honda Civic
Dodge Charger

2 Fast 2 Furious
Nissan Skyline R34
Honda S2000
Mazda RX7
Honda/Acura NSX (Pre facelift) so not brand new at time of making aka cheaper.
Mitsubishi Evolution

See the pattern emerging here where are all the Ferrari's and Lamborghini's ? oh that's right they aren't attainable for the general populous.

Just for if you are curious about the point I have made quite well you are welcome to check on what I've said before insulting me any further :)

DK
It doesn't like there's any such deals for those of us on the other side of the Atlantic. :(

Never mind, it's now 67% off now for those of us Europeans too. I've still got a few hours left on the demo, I'll use that up first.

Every game that has this kind of feature suffers from the same problem. That's just how circulation works, and it sucks.

I think @Moglet would be intrigued to know the Valenti tail lights are in the game, but accessing apparently it doesn't work on a BRZ purchased after the update  I purchased my BRZ after the update and nothing was showing for tail lights, but take a look at this video

Guys, NFS Underground 2 and NFS Most Wanted have slightly different points. Cops in Underground 2 would only disturb even if they were great as they were on NFS MW. Its a different vibe, even if not that different.

You live on develop country? I dont know that because Im on the phone. If you are like me... If you are on the kind of place where the cars are disappointing.. Then it is hard to understand whats the meaning of "Joe" cars.

Idk, you figure it out homie.
And not sure if we live in the same universe but I could've sworn Ferrari makes cars to this day.

As for F&F "heroes" driving tuners, well the movies were made that way. But you gotta notice that those movies started to move away from street racing towards more crazy stunts, heists and air to ground combat in downtown LA
But I presume you consider these first two movies as masterminds of cinema. I recommend watching "A Place Beyond the Pines" or "Nightcrawler"
Back in 2001 nobody modified supercars like they do now, and they were far less common as well. But it's 2016 and people actually do street race twin turbo Lambo's and GTR's etc so it is relevant to have some of these cars in the game.
Exactly my friend.

Also this game needs more garage space, that garage Robyn has could work. Maybe actually paying Ghost for DLC will motivate them, adding stuff that they had two years of dev time for.
I hope new NFS either be solid or they just should put it out of it's misery.

That's really odd if that's the case! It looks like a bug.
