Sorry I can't comment on the FPS... I am a brand new forum member and I don't have the game yet because I am a PC gamer. Can't wait for this to come out on PC!!!

Anyways, I was just noticing something odd in your video MXHyland - Your car was shut off but the Tach still read 1000 rpms. That's kind of silly if it is always like that, especially given that a vehicle doesn't usually idle at exactly 1000 rpms normally.
 
The framerate/stuttering issue went away after a restart. I'm guessing it was something on the server side - although the game worked just fine in ''AllDrive'' mode.

Better ask the geniuses over at Ghost Games. I noticed it too and have no idea why the rev-counter flipped out.

Well UTH 4 went live on January 28th and the update went live on February 3rd so it should go up about a week before the update is out.
 
I saw that an image of a hot rod has been leaked, which is amazing, but is anything else known at this time? I haven't been able to turn anything up via youtube or other sites. I'm not on reddit.
 
Well, a new update huh? I'll bite, I just hope the cars actually will have like 30 customisable parts per car, and I don't mean 5 rear view mirrors and taped headlights -_-
Also I really hope for other muscle cars not just the Ford and let's say 1 more. Personally I would love to see a '67 Ford Fairlane, also adding a 1970 Dodge Charger would please fans of a certain movie.

Going to wait until there's official info before I start talking but yes, it's clear something went live before it was supposed to. These things happen from time to time on the internet. Let's hold our hands up and just admit it. We'll move on, learn from what happened and we'll all joke about it in a few days time.
In short, yes an update is coming. No, I don't have more details for you yet. No, that car is not the only thing in it.
I'd recommend reserving judgement until you get the full info, is easy to base an opinion on a solitary screenshot, you may be pleasantly surprised.

The above quote is from GhostBen on Reddit and I can't wait to see what this update has. Hot Rods are really big where I am from (Route 66 passes through the center of town) so this may be cool.
 
Hi guys, Just a quick question as I admit I am not good at these types of mission games and maps!..If I wanted to try one of the first missions again that I can't see on the map anymore or even go in the diner or watch some of the video clips again how do you select previous missions you have done. I probably have missed something but I can't even get in to the diner any more just sit out side it as it isn't on the map.. Any help appreciated. Thanks Torque :)))

I don't think they are ever marked on the map, or replay able after completing them

It really is, the NeedforSpeed account seems to be having some fun and they interact with the community really well. The EA account, on the other hand, feels like an uptight businessman trying to be cool. :indiff:

One car that should be added to the game is Rachel's 350Z from Underground 2.

Or a modern Z at all. The R34 has a default wrap available (from the Legends update) that is identical to Rachel's 350Z but it would be better to see it on an actual Z (either a 350Z or 370Z)

It would be better to see some of the actual cars of previous NFS games. Celeb's 3000GT, Rachel's 350z, Ryo's Evo X etc.
We might even see an old cop turned bounty hunter in the next update.

That'd be nice but having pre tuned cars we can't upgrade aren't as appealling as a brand new car we upgrade how we like. But if we did get one of those I wouldn't complain I'd still be very happy just I'd prefer something we can tune.

The new Ford will be great, my dad has a restored '33 Ford which is slightly different (I think the grill) so I'll be able to recreate it. Probably besides the rims which I think are stock.
