Either I just plain suck with the 2017 Nissan GT-R or the car is just not good even when fully upgraded. I have my 2017 R35 upgraded to the max and the car can't keep up with most of the other cars maxed out.

I'm going to try and suggest the Need For Speed Twitter page to see if they can buff the car up. I really like the car but it's just a bit slow for a car when fully upgraded in this game. *Same can also be said for the 1932 Ford.*

Also is the other R35 model like this? I forgot but I think it was faster than the new model when fully upgraded.

Makes you wonder why manufacturers license their cars for games like this.
Wait since when licensing affects upgrading cars in game was a thing? None of the performance parts in game are licensed.

I understand this is a totally brand new car that was announced not too very long ago and this is it's very first video game debut but this really shouldn't be the case with performance upgrades. If this was really Nissan's decision to decide how fast the car should be then they just literally made NFS create the slowest super car in the game.

Despite its flaws, I'm still going to keep it and drive it a lot because I made a really good wrap for it. If you're curious about what the wrap looks like, check out my latest post on the Show Us Your Rides thread or you can take a look at it in my avatar but if you want to see what the entire car looks like, I suggest checking out the post.

Licencing doesn't, I think what @VXR means is why Nissan bothered to licence the '17 GT-R for a game where the 20HP performance difference won't mean a thing in the game, and when it has less visual (and apparantly worse performance) modifications available than the R35 GT-R already in the game.

By interpreting it that way, I think the main idea behind licensing cars is to increase visibility and attract audiences who would be interested in purchasing performance cars, especially as Need For Speed sells millions of units. I don't think Nissan or any other manufacturer involved would be that bothered if their cars are the fastest in the game or not. If they were, I would certainly not be expecting Ferrari to be included.

I meant why license your new model to a game where an MX5 ends up being faster, despite starting with over 400hp less. It's just another nonsense in a game full of them.

I could tolerate the 1932 Ford as I don't recall Hotrods driving as fast as the other cars in the game in real life *sort of a stupid thing to say* since I find it realistic that way but I can't understand why the 2017 R35 is the slowest super car in the game. Especially when your predecessors can beat the living crap out of your successor even when the 2017 GT-R has over 1,000 HP when fully upgraded. Hopefully with Ghost Games now listening to our feedback, I hope they do fix the car's performance to make it compete with all the other cars in the game. It's quite embarrassing honestly.

Coming up next: Watch us outrun the Nissan GT-R in a fully tuned Yugo GV because GV means good value and good value means good performance! 👎

*EDIT* I asked the official NFS Twitter page to see if they can buff the GT-R a few hours ago and went back to their Twitter page just now and I didn't got a response yet. :indiff:

So I finally gave in after seeing everyone on here talking about the game and posting pictures and bought Need For Speed! Excited to crack it open tonight.

So no one is gonna try the Camera mod for NFS2015? Because the camera mod is like HP 2010 and MW 2012 all over again.

Honestly don't know why this isn't standard in the game. The interior is already well detailed; it just needs smoother animation, have the gauges moving, and then it's good to go
Its like HP2010 and MW2012. Was not implemented but has a good detail on cockpit view. Maybe future update?

With Manual gears, I find it more enjoyable using Grip tires. Though I still put the handling slider slightly on the Drift side. The car will be more predictable at the limit, and I can enter through tight turns in the right gear.

I can share the setup.

How did you guys play this game without manual?? Any time I forget to switch a car to manual it drives me insane

I didn't mind the auto so much in Rivals but they certainly made it a lot worse for this game.

Whether it's hard or easy, its something that would be well worth the work.

It would be awesome, I'd especially like to be able to wind the windows down for going through tunnels but that's just me dreaming!

Made by pokemonfan58 and is trending at #151. What a coincidence.

If I recall correctly this was also the case in NFSU right? Rediculously fast MX5 (and RX7 too if my memory doesn't fail me).

Still doubting whether I should get this for PC or not...

I paid full price for it and don't regret it a bit.

(The handling is pretty crap though). Once I moved away from default settings on the adjustment sliders I started having trouble. The game is more about the sum of its parts though. Overall I love it. I think it boils down to what you are looking to get out of it. If you love spending hours in the garage creating a work of art, then you will love this game. If you are only about racing, you will probably hate it.

I'd say that it wasn't worth the full asking price day one. I bought it during the Christmas sale for just under $30, which hit the sweet spot for me since it requiring an obtrusive always-online connection, was also pretty light on content in terms of the story mode and the replayability just wasn't there. The handling model isn't as bad as some make it to be, though the phantom steering will more than likely annoy you. Playing with a wheel seems to get rid of that issue though.

Anyway, I'd suggest that you wait for the PC version to catch up with the console updates and possibly wait for a sale as well.

Odd reply, as if you think situation that was brought up is some sort of ridiculous wishfulness as if this feature would be so out of field to ask for, if that's what you're going to be comparing it to. The ground work is already there, it's just odd that they don't use it. They would be taking a pretty dumb route to model all this out and not make any use out of it.

My reply was just me wishing for a new feature, it would require mountains of work to make it happen. It's not a realistic expectation at all.

My mistake then. It just seemed sorta snappy, and just seemed out of place in comparison.

You find it better in manual? I can't play this in manual. I'm getting a lot of button input lag, and there's just so much going on.

I bought it for 20$, then i asked for a refund because i didn't liked it and bought another game with the money, but guess what? I still have the game! I literally got a game for free:sly:
