For now is Aventador SVJ Coupe, but I am changing cars regularly :)

I'm in the same position. I'm mostly experimenting now, but the SVJ has so far proven to be a beast and is currently the car I scored my Personal Best rep gain in so far.

I think you'd ideally want something with AWD (helps with launches and traction on loose surfaces) and a fair amount of weight for high heat chases/events.

So I'm giving the game a shot since I got myself a Premier membership. The gameplay seems alright, but what I saw of the storyline from the prologue was so aggressively stupid that I want nothing more to do with it. I also hate characters yakking constantly when I'm just trying to drive around and enjoy the scenery. Am I going to miss anything of particular importance by skipping the cutscenes and turning off voices?

So far my Garage consists of:

BNR34 - Main car and with the Forged RB my highest rated car. It's the car I've built in every NFS game that I can remember. Pearl black with tasteful mods.

EBA-R35 - Originally built as a full Varis car to get a 300 car for the story, now a (I can't believe I'm saying this) fully Rocket Bunnied-out drift car.

993 'GT2' - Painted Turquoise Blue, it's for looks more than anything else. Despite a fast top speed, it's not particularly highly rated without an engine swap.

Hawkeye WRX - Running the full WRC conversion, this is my off-road car. When funds allow, I'll swap in the Forged Flat 4.

RPS13 - Would well it if I could. Currently painted metallic beige, it's not done a lot since I bought the BNR34.

NFSMW M3 - Am I m the only person in the world that doesn't feel anything particularly special towards this car? Haven't even driven it since it landed in my garage, but feel as though I shouldn't sell it?!

Evo X - Only bought to try on a few kits. Settled on a full Varis kit, haven't done anything since then.

Ive played with a few other cars, mainly to try out mods, but usually sold them on straight away. I'd have kept the Testarossa had it had a few mods and if the rear lights didn't glitch at speed (the left hand rear light dims after a while).

The latter point has to be my biggest bug bare with this game. The LODs seem to be broken on many cars/parts. For example, the Z-Tune front bumper for the BNR34 is missing the textures for the front indicators on the highest LOD. As you accelerate they reappear as the camera zooms out.

The 993's stock lights flicker at certain distances due to how the lightning reacts with the texture (had to put the smoked ones on to stop it).

I've also noticed issues with certain wheel/tyre/fender combos where under the car the rims leave a gap with the tyres.

As for the Wrap Editor... Now I know I've been spoilt for the last couple of years by GT Sport, but NFS 2015's editor was a masterpiece and once I'd completed the main game, became my source of entertainment. By comparison (and despite being almost exactly the same) Heat's feels like an afterthought.

The lack of zoom, whilst the biggest issue for me in terms of use, masks the bigger issue of severely low resolution graphics. It's safe to say I won't be spending any time with it.
I also dont feel anything for the m3. I dont see most wanted as legendary as everyone says it is either. Would rather have Ryan coopers 240

Also now that I've beaten the game, the story has left me, unfulfilled

I still think Most Wanted is one of the best NFS games in terms of gameplay but never really connected to that car, it is just another cover/boss car for another NFS. Felt the same way for the Ryan's 240SX, Ryo's Evo X, Darius's Audi Le Mans, Rachel's 350z and Eddie's Skyline.

I was really excited to see them return in Heat, thought I could use those body kits and rims again but it was restricted to those cars only.

I'm wondering what cars do you see in the garage background with the crew setting?

I'm always eager to show off a few new liveries and all, but I'm curious if it's controlled or plain random.

Took starter crew to level 50. Bought the FXX-K. Left to create a new crew. This puts the lock back on the FXX-K in the dealership, so good thing I bought it beforehand. Thou hast been warned. ;)

Is there any meaning behind the "classes" listed on the car list on the official website? I mean how there's classes like open-top, supercar, hypercar, etc. Because I think it'd be nice if there were events that made you try a different car. I'd say something similar for if there were events with PR limits, like for 199 or 299, instead of everyone just picking the best parts to always use PR 399 cars.

I can't be sure, but I suspect it shows the player's currently selected / most recently used car.

Nope. Personally I like the freedom of choice. You can always "make" yourself try a different car.

I'd still have events where anything goes, but I also like the idea of having different competitive ecosystems. And I think having some events that limit PR could allow for interesting strategies, as there could be many combinations of parts that result in a car that has a certain PR range.

It's like how in Ace Combat Infinity, (at least when it was still active) there were challenges or events that had you use planes with certain "total costs," which could be reached by equipping many different combinations of parts, and also depended on the cost of the plane itself; higher-cost planes couldn't equip as many parts since they'd start out closer to that cost limit.

I don't see the difference between this, and how some events in Gran Turismo game campaigns will have a power and/or weight limitation. It just seems like it'd get boring to have a singular competitive ecosystem with no infrastructure in place to make "sub-ecosystems," like if one could create their own rules for a room or event.

I do understand and want those things too, but let's not forget that Ghosts only now made a decent game and if talk about online back then - most of NFS games has had only one meta car of choice. Don't know if they gonna do the same mistake all over again in quick match mode, but it seems so.

Ace Combat made by Ace developers:).

First time playing NFS since... NFS Carbon.

Very similar to my old Carbon one, interesting game, relative easy to win races, not very easy to win some drift ones. Cops are very strong.
I discover the pleasure to "swap" cars... oooooooooooh I love it.

These little cars are OP with swap engines (MX5s, Golf GTI, S2000, Lotus, ...).
Notice: Swap is weird sometimes, you can swap the 1965 Chevy C10 V8 engine into a 2014 Mercedes A45 :odd:

This game is not serious, and I like it, when you add V8 into a Focus, when you create a F40 rally car... What else. Fun game.

This game really clicked for me once I graduated from my starter car. I played basically all day today. I like that drift and grip cornering are both viable in this one, grip felt awful in 2015. I also like how much they simplified the tuning and also let you change settings on the fly. I bought an Exige as my third car and it has insane handling.

Oooh I'm having a lot of fun with this game, I just wish the AI difficulty was a bit more nuanced. Unless your car is way underpowered it's not really difficult to win, even on Hard. I wouldn't mind so much if there was some online matchmaking. At least the police are actually challenging.

Yeah so this just happen  well at least now i know what those blue spikes things are  at the end i remember the ramp jump in that area and so i lost heat 5 and made it safely home.

EDIT-- just found that this car was on drag tires :banghead: which explains why i was having trouble taking the turns.

The Carrera RSR is still the OP car to go for.

In second place and a good 5 seconds slower on most tracks is the Ferrari F40. Ford GT and Pagani Huayra aren't too far behind.

I've heard some say that the Lancer EVO IX is a top performer, but I doubt it. You ask me to crown one, and it's either the NA Miata or the Hakosuka for the king of JDMs.

Yes, the Evo IX is one of beasts, the Focus RS is similar, but the old 911 RS is something over.

Just under, some little cars are OP: Exige S, 2 MX5, BRZ, S2000 or Volvo Amazon for example.

The Exige would need an engine swap right?

All those little cars do, but unlike, say, engine swapping grand tourer cars, they shouldn't be an issue if you're tight on bank.

Also, anyone know what classic muscle is the one to own in terms of.. everything? I'm inclined towards the Charger.
