Viper seems to do great as a drift car.

For offroad i had a lot of fun in the Mini Countryman (with flat 6 engine) and the Evo (Either) with the forged engine.

The Polestar 1 Hero Edition is 1.4 million, just slightly under the Vulcan.

I also hear it's not so good to drive, but don't let me convince you otherwise.

Assuming it is the same performance as the standard Polestar, it handles like a boat. Slow and heavy even with the most expensive engine swap, it is still driveable and won't struggle in races like the Dodge Challenger.

Giving up on trying to get the 488 Pista. Just can't get past the speed traps and drifting. Getting to be very repetitive and tiresome. Not worth trying to get it anymore.

Here's hoping they will add the 488 Pista Spyder for future DLC car pack.

Am I the only one taking my sweet time with progression? After 2 weeks I'm still just level 24 and still with my starter 180SX at 260 PR  I'm very conservative so I only do 1-2 races per night and never go above heat level 2, treating it like it's real life :P

Also, I find it annoying that the PR rating seems to be skewed towards road setup. I want a more balanced road/offroad setup for my 180SX but it drops PR too much and I can't enter the 260 PR events. So I have to stick with Track parts everything and now whenever I touch grass it's like getting stuck in quicksand lol. I also feel there are too many destructible objects in this game, which makes accuracy in driving an afterthought. I mean light poles and road signs, fine. But large trees shouldn't fall apart like sytrofoam. There's a cluster of palm trees on the south beach and you can literally just drive through it. Lolwut?

Speaking of engine swaps, can you transfer parts between all types of engines? So in effect you actually only really need 1 of each Ultimate part and just swap them to whatever car you want to be driving right?

Drifting is easy as hell lmao.

Speedtraps are easy enough. The only one I've found to be particularly annoying was the one by the tunnel between the Raceway and Downtown. You're basically gonna need a 400+ car for this one.

The one by the Fort Callahan safehouse says hi.

200 MPH in a small town road can kiss my tailfin.

You really need to stop with this not everyone finds drifting with drifting parts and default drifting setup easy like you keep claiming it is.

And not every speed trap is easy you need to have the right car the right setup and not have that stupid traffic get in the way :banghead: There was one that took me over 20 tries not cause i didn't have the right car (fxxk evo) but because traffic

Instead of repeating how easy it is why not post helpful info like screenshots or video.

If you guys have problems with drifting try the Focus. Put on speedcross suspensions, showcase diff and drag tires, yes drag tires. I am awful at drifting yet managed to 3 star every zone with it.

I like the idea of using 4WD cars to drift. I have a couple in my G-Wagen and an Aventador.. the former on purpose, the latter after finding out how much it is terrible in racing and can't go off-roading because Lamborghini.

The thing is these cars are the literal easy mode for getting 3 stars in most drift zones. No risk of going loose, and just hold the gas to keep it sideways. Although, RWD drifters are preferable due to how much more points they can attain, but if you're not a fan of drifting and really want to clear these drift zones, get a 4WD car, and maybe not a truck/SUV cause they really need the power from an engine swap.

It's the car. The Focus is just easy to drift. I tried the Huracan right from the start but was hard to use for me. Rwd cars are sure the best. I am not saying the Focus is good to get high score it's just easy to handle.

ok P1 boi

Wow. I was totally unaware of the complicated tuning that I needed to make my car go fast in a mostly straight line.

Because that wouldn't be any useful at all.

Drifting can be easy, but Drift & Showcase parts can be counterproductive, causing the car to fishtail too easily without maintaining forward momentum. Following the advice in this video I decided to use my 1969 Mustang Boss 302 (in RTR-X guise) with all Speedcross parts and as much power as I could give it (original engine, though). I ended up 3-starring all the Drift Zones pretty easily with that setup. Probably any powerful RWD car with all Speedcross parts should be able to do it. The biggest difficulty was traffic cars.

Questions about High Heat Races. Can you do only the Sprint races at night and still unlock all the Ultimate parts? OR do you have to do all the night races on the map to unlock all the Ultimate parts?

Also, if you get 1st place and get busted by the cops, do you have to redo the race again?

I need to get some Ultimate parts to help me with better drifting and faster car.

Yes, you can only do High Heat Sprint races at night but pay attention to the entry requirements. HH races which require Heat level 3 unlock Ultimate parts, whereas Heat 5 races unlock Ultimate+ parts. Eventually you will unlock all the parts as you keep completing High Heat races on both levels.

And since the v1.5 update, you lose any volatile parts you've acquired once you get busted.

So the best thing to do after you've reached Heat 5, find the closest garage and enter? Or do you continue finding another sprint race and get above Heat 5? The safest bet would be to find the closest garage and collect your points.

If your priority is acquiring Ultimate/Ultimate+ parts then yeah, head to the garage as soon as you complete the Heat 5 event. If you are not at Level 50 Rep, you can maximize the rep gain from other events by completing them at Heat Level 5.

Playing NFSH and FH4 back-to-back feels weird. FH4 feels a lot floatier after playing NFSH, though the feeling comes back after a while.
