Designing a Ferrari 458 Spider ‘11 in the NFS Studio App using stock parts only and importing it to the game will not charge you any Bank.

I don't know if it is a problem only with my app/login, but I can't transfer any of my designs to the game... Revised 3 times the login data and link account but still can't do nothing... Keeps giving me a code error... :grumpy:

Anyone else having the same issue?

I wrote "third new K.S. car", the Countach should be the eighth K.S. car if we are counting the deluxe cars and the hero Polestar:

1. Evo X (deluxe edition)
2. BMW i8 (deluxe edition)
3. Mercedes C63 (deluxe edition)
4. Corvette C7 (deluxe edition)
5. Polestar 1
6. Aventador LP700 (new in patch 1.6)
7. Land Rover Defender (new in patch 1.6)
8. Countach (new in patch 1.6)

Hmm I wasn't aware of the Aventador and Defender KS editions. Any pics of those? Not disbelieving you, just want to see what they look like.

With the exception of the Vette all the KS cars are disappointments to drive. Can't even reach 400 PR without engine swap and the ride height is far too low and makes it very unstable over bumps  I wish we could at least change the stance on these cars. Not a fan of the slammed, over cambered look but I guess that's what all the kids like nowadays.

Not really a K.S. variant fault, the other 4 cars are awful in its standard variant as well and I don’t think the visual ride height has anything to do with the physics. I remember trying the standard i8 with normal ride height and it still flips out over bumps.

Here is the third new K.S. car found in files:

I sure hope these are not another standalone exclusive K.S. car, will be nice to have these parts available to the standard variant.

Is this what happens when a Terzo Millennio and a Countach have sex? (Am I even allowed to say that?)

Can someone with a fanatec check if quick tuning menu works ? (I can't get it to work)

Am I the only one thet gets ffb cut offs ? (sometimes it dissapears then resets after a jump etc)

How do you initiate drifts ? Double tapping the throttle ?

try resetting system

Well I was hoping that the KS variant would get some power upgrades over the standard variants. And locking them behind a certain level defeats their purpose of being preorder bonuses because by the point you unlock them you already have access to much better cars/parts anyway. That's why I said they are useless. Compare this to the preorder bonus cars in Payback for example, they are actually useful because I didn't need to buy cars for Drift/Drag, saving me some money in the early parts of the game.

Regarding the ride height, it does have some effect. If you equip off road parts you'll notice the ride height is also increased and your car dramatically feels more stable over bumps. The problem with the stance tuning is, most supercars are still too low even at MAX height  Believe me, I spend hundreds of laps grinding the oval race for credits and XP. The transition between the banked turn and flat apron is a good test for ride height/stability ;)

The suspension parts do affect it but the stance tuning don't seem to do anything from what I tried. Recently got a Testarossa on stock height but it seem to bottoms up in the oval a lot while my 918 on its lowest height seems to do just fine, the Testarossa occasionally flips out when running over a side walk as well but cars like the 918, Evo 9, E92 M3 and LP670 never have that problem occur to me.

I think everyone grinded the oval to death, it is the easiet and shortest race for money. I usually do 2 rounds of oval before going for other high paying races to test out my cars.

I think the confounding factor is the "stock" height is different for each car + each car also has a in built stability value. So even if the Testa looks higher in your garage, if the game codes the physics as more unstable over bumps then no matter what it's not gonna be as stable as the 918. But if you compare Testa on stock height vs lowest height I bet you will notice a difference.

I've been grinding for the most expensive cars first so I don't know about the lower end cars, but the track specials (P1 GTR, Vulcan, KS cars) seem to me to be a lot more unstable than the road going hypercars (918, P1, Huayra). Which is fine, because it's realistic, but I do wish the KS cars can be adjusted because they are still based on road cars.

It does. Changing the ride height of a car (be it stance tuning or handling parts) will move it's hitbox accordingly. There are a few other fields that influence how a car behaves on bottoming out but IIRC they're either the same for every car, or only varies by a very small amount.

There are also some parts of the map that has been confirmed to have some janky collision so that's definitely compounding the issues that people are having.

From the cars that I tried, I just don't see it affect anything regardless of the stance height. The Testarossa with the same performance parts on lowest, medium and highest stance height still unstable at certain condition and flips out. I've yet to see a car that changing the stance height have a significant difference in the car stability. The feels more like an issue to a specific car than the stance tuning.

This problem with the controller failure since the update is starting to making me very angry... I can't play the game for a week now! The game simply wont recognize the controller! Not even after restarting my XB1X over and over... Nice move EA/Ghost... :grumpy:

Lol

The height depends on your upgrades

There a a pic

there's a an offroad track (something with trains or traintracks in it's name) in Rockville which only takes 1'30" and also pays 50K, it's slightly less boring. I usually combine that with the race in the quarry. And seeing the train track ends near Port Murphy, there's a small oval which pays 40Kish. So that's a quick and easy 150K.

That KS Lambo is ugly as F imo.

Also i saved up enough for the FXX K EVO, was dissapointed. ah well, it's only game money.

Finally cracked level 49 crew. Is it just me or the 10% heat bonus doesn't really affect anything? The heat meter fills up the same after one race. Got my 100 takedowns en route as well. It seems that the cop cars are weak in their rear quarter/trunk area, so your best bet is to hit cops driving in the same direction as you. T-boning them or crashing head on never seems to trigger a takedown for me, even with the damage increase aux part.

To alleviate the boredom, I'm just grinding for 1 new car a day, then testing them out at night to gain rep. Apart from the handful of multi million dollar cars, the rest are actually quite cheap by comparison. Less than 15 mins of oval will get you most of them. I've already got everything to the right of the 488 Pista (except for FXXK obviously and roadster variants because I hate open tops).

Once I tried all cars, I can't see myself coming back to be honest. Even new cars won't add that much gameplay. I think it's the best NFS since MW 2012, but still not better in terms of replayability. Single player is boring and online isn't much better. MW 2012's speedlists/challenges and separate online reward structure are what keeps it alive long after you finished story mode.

I stopped grinding the game last week, I think I sank enough time into it and got all the cars that I like now. Pretty much just waiting for new cars/content to release before I go back to it. The problem with the end game for me is that "night" became pointless, I still play it every once a while for the street racing feel but having no bank for most races makes it useless when everything you can do still need bank.

Black Pantha said that the Heat is the best racer of decade! Why can't we enjoy it as much?
I also play once a week, maybe. Have all the cars already and really don't want to max every single one because it is pointless. I wish they would do something about online. Where is the live service? The Crew Summits or the Horizon Playlist are easy solutions for players to come back. They've tried something similar in NoLimits. Copy that at least. And they should bring back the Speedlist.. Some of us actually enjoyed it.

I don't think there is a single racing game release in this decade that I will call it "racer of this decade", there are many fun games but almost all of them I played them, enjoy while it last and never bother to ever go back to it.

I don't mind not having any live service, I'm sick and tired of the live service with Forza Horizon 4. Coming back each week just to run through the same events for the sake of a small piece of content that I may or may not want it. Ideally I prefer NFS just have a longer story/career mode, a new game plus or the classic profile system so I don't need to wipe my save just to restart the game. I rather have proper DLC and expansions than live service, getting really annoyed with content locked behind time limited events.
