So now the car count is less than 50?? According to this 31 cars are available at the start of the game but if you add the Most Wanted cars you don't get 50.

Okay, that's a pathetic number; for 2012 anyway.

We are at 46 cars as of now. 27 are up on the official NFS site (or should I say 26 since for some reason they removed the Hummer H1), and we are waiting for the 19 known cars to be revealed.

I say we've got about 5 unknown cars left, once they reveal/leak them we will have our 50+ car list that Matt Webster mentioned.

Where did you see there wont be a demo? I was thinking (hoping!) they would release it next week. Being 2 weeks out before a release makes sense to me. Criterion and EA always release demos. Besides, the pre-order bonus stated "early access into multiplayer"! I LOVED Hot Pursuit so I have high expectations for this one.

They really aren't giving us a demo for this.... :(
I also admit thats very surprising for Criterion. :guilty:
We had a Burnout Paradise demo and a Hot Pursuit demo. Shocked there wont be one for MW2012. Oh well I am still looking forward to this game more than Horizon. Thats coming from a huge Forza fan.

Again, where did you guys see that there wont be a demo???!
Im counting the days until it comes out.
My preorder says – early access to multiplayer. Im betting we get one next week!

A limited-time demo for HP3 and TR had been available about a month from their respective release dates. We're about 2 weeks away from MW2's release now.

There's never any mention about custom route racing.... if online's always going to force us to play random events, I definitely won't be playing this game for a long time.

I hope that's not the case because if I have to keep randomly competing for the longest drift, longest jump, or the highest speed, online is going to be way too repetitive.

Lots of interesting stuff from the EA support page once again, btw NFS Most Wanted is also coming to Wii U this/next month (I saw it on my local store online).
What if I get busted by the cops?
If you get caught, you will respawn in a Nissan Versa traffic car back at the police station. You then need to get to a Jack Spot to switch cars and be able to trigger events to continue your progression.

What is Concours?
If you have reached max level, you will have the option to select to increase your Concours level. This means you will return to level 1 and reset your progressions. However, it will unlock new Concours-only milestones and change your license plate border to gold to indicate you are a Concours player.

How many cars are there in NFSMW?
There are 41 player cars which can be used in offline events, and 48 which can be used in online events (Note: PS Vita has 42 cars for online events). There are also 6 cop cars and 11 traffic cars.

How many car modifications will be available?
There are 22 modifications that can be unlocked for each car. These are divided into Standard and Pro mods.

Are there any disadvantages to mods?
Standard mods will have advantages and disadvantages. Pro mods have no disadvantages.

Haha that's great! I was wondering what happened if they busted you. Funny solution, won't lie.

We gotta have a race in Versas only one day.

O_O So getting NFS Most Wanted for the Wii U. 👍

It's a portuguese cover but definately legit.

Thanks for posting that list... now I want the game even more

It's cool seeing what the Versa is used for. I hope we can still use it normally and upgrade it though :sly:

Also the concours system looks great. One problem Paradise had was that after completing all 500 challenges, there wasn't much to do except to mess around online and perhaps help other people complete challenges. However the concours system means there should always be something to work towards :)

I wouldn't worry too much. If the online is half as good as Burnout: Paradise then it should be phenomenal.

I just pre-ordered my copy. First new game I've ordered since MLB 12: The Show. :sly:

DISCLOSURE: I also ordered inFAMOUS 2 at the same time - but that was only because it will be coming to be on the cheap.

NFS: MW is the one I'm truly after.

FULL DISCLOSURE AGAIN: I haven't gotten new games because full-time school and full-time work = no-time fun

I'm going to have to disagree with you there. I think I can safely say I probably didn't play and enjoy Burnout the same way you have. I never fully enjoyed anything online in BP except for challenges. All the contact games were hindered by lag, stunt run is extremely repetitive, and races were too linear and felt unsatisfying because it was always to the same points meaning everyone would more or less take the same roads every time. The time-based events presented in MW2 are like Freeburn high scores, but with a mission, you can be doing that all day but that's all there is to it; you do your thing, I do mine, see who gets the higher score. Eventually people are going to figure out the best spots to do jumps, drifts and reach top speeds. So what lasting fun is there then?

It's really just a personal gripe, but that's how I viewed the extent of BP's enjoyability where I filter out the overly-simple activities that get figured out in a matter of weeks.
