I'm "NewsMan" for a " NFSzone.pl" - this is polish fan website on topic NFS

SORRY, My english is bad/weak :)

I discovered a carlist :) On list with instruction was 42 cars. But in the game is 41.
So I asked myself the question - where is this one?
I discovered on Youtube a video with carlist :)
There is no FORD FOCUS ST - this is traffic/blocked car as bmw and hummer :)

Picked up my copy along with ACIII and WWE'13 all with their "pre-order" bonuses from WalMart last night with a price match of Target's ad. Played MW for a couple hours, surprised there's no install just a patch to 1.01, especially since I think the game probably would have benefited from it to speed up loading. Plus, so much data streaming made the disc freakin' hot when I took it out. It might just be something I'll get use to but there seems to be some pop up, nothing super important just trees and I think I've had a sign or two along with other things in the distance along some other things that right now have just been distracting, not super important for how good the game looks besides that.

I've had car ADD so for where I keep jumping into ones that I find even when I'm supposed to be driving to a race. Played online a bit and was about what I expected, along with there always being that one person who probably shouldn't be playing online with their crappy internet connection or using a lag switch. >_>

So it doesnt have Manual Transmission...Criterion you dissapoint me your games are good, great even and just like HP 2K10 you have put in auto again!?! Im really at a crossroads guys. I did like HP 2K10 its just i cant stress enough in that game how many times i restarted because of the slushbox not shifting up or down in pivotal moments! It truly was maddening im sure they know it im sure yall know it. So why dumb the game down for us actual car guys especially when having said manual would have improved our times and get out of a pinch! I can see it already...6 cops surrounding me! Wait theres a open alleyway! I cant get to it fast enough because my auto slushbox keeps hitting the damn limiter!!! Boom busted! Pause hit retry because COULD NOT SHIFT UP! I wanna buy it cause im hearing good things and seeing great reviews it just...*sigh* This game better be easier than HP 2K10 or this will be the LAST criterion NFS game ill ever buy!

Same I got AC3

UGHHH Where is the Ford ST! OH THATS RIGHT! ITS NOT THERE -___-

What use would it be anyway. It would not keep up with, any car in the game really. Oh, and don't double post, or you'll get a less than friendly message from the moderators. @Z06, well, it'll be like Burnout Paradise. And HP3 was designed to be a challenge.

I'm sure the ST will appear as DLC...

Anyways, picked up my copy this morning...at opening... Lines were obviously packed with AC3 people. Played for about an hour, then went off with some friends for a bit. So far did two races, three pursuits, and spent more time looking for the cars. I'd love it if there were more cars than just the 41. Spend all day just hunting down cars. :D (Taking jumps and speed cameras along the way.

So glad all of my classes are canceled today! And no work! :sly:

I rented it at break time I still got to make it thru 4hrs of work, a doctor appt. Then my daughters concert before I can try it. Anyone use a wheel with this game yet? I have a CSR.

@darren are you sure it wont be easier i thought paradise was easy hmmm idk but i do know maybe it be easier to get away come to think of it cause HP 2K10 wasnt really sandbox right and @Medigo by hunting down cars u mean crashing? cause if u mean unlocking wasnt every car unlocked from the get go? and one more question for either of you or anyone; There was an option in Burnout Paradise that if you go to the option screen you can actually set the time in the game to your console which i thought was innovative and brilliant! So the question can you do the same in this???

Well, just had my first glitch. Restarted the event "Crush Hour" for the R8 GT Spyder race and in the beginning cutscene once you skip the intro, there's a gigantic green block in the screen and every time you look backwards it take up the entire center of the screen. Went away after the first corner. :boggled:

Edit: Another issue... Just restarted an event an the game's stuck. Not frozen, but stuck. And all of a sudden my score decreases by a lot and I went from 9th on Most Wanted to 11th. :grumpy:

Edit2: After the restart of the game, I lost a bunch of speed points and says I can't challenge the Shelby Cobra, which said I could before the game froze up. And it DID save before the race freezing. Restarted a second time and got some more SP. Before restart: 50k+ with ability to challenge the Cobra, after the first restart: 44k SP, and second restart: 50k+ SP without the ability to challenge the Cobra. WTF!

Ah, so THATS why the NFS Twitter randomly cut talking to me when I said the focus was the car I was most looking forward to driving.

Is anyone up for some co-op challenges over the weekend. USA'ers will have had it for under a week and know most of Fairhaven by memory.

I can already tell this game won't be a hit among the more sim conscious crowd, one of my friend's was wary about picking up Forza Horizon but I talked him into it when I told him the physics weren't that different from F4. The lack of cockpit view and the aforementioned missing manual shifting option will be big turn offs for some.

Because of this, pretty much none of my friends are going to be picking up this game, so I guess I'll be racing people from GT Planet.

Current progress:

0% Online, no online pass activated; no 4x SP bonus.
117,705 SP
71/123 Jackspots.... been searching the whole time for these

while doing that, 25/156 billboards, 30/66 cameras.

As I thought, there are numerous places to find the same car.

And you can't barrel roll in this game :(

I don't care for the Focus ST, but I'm not a fan of holding back cars for DLC. Especially if they've appeared in promotional material already.

Still excited for the game though, unfortunately I have to wait until Friday to get it. :indiff:

It was like in TR where if your car so much as rotates (in either direction) past 90 degrees, the car wrecks before even touching the ground.

Oh, and acetuner, you don't need to hold the beakes down for that long to intiate a drift. You can also drif if you steer hard long enough. You can also power over drift.
