As a guy who is interested by unique vehicles a bit more than popular ones, I can certainly get behind the Cougar, even though I did hope the GTO was in too.
And along with being surprised that a Defender was included, I'm doubly surprised that it's also a starter vehicle to boot.

Surprised by about all of the starter vehicles honestly, but especially the Defender. I would have figured the starter cars would be more on the lower end of the performance spectrum. The 180SX, first gen Miata, Fox Body Mustang, etc.

I'm going with the GNX though, what about you guys?

If I wanna go bonkers, definitely the Defender.
In terms of versatility, the GNX would allow for a bigger budget due to being cheaper than the S2000 while having the same available classes. Unless the S2000 has considerably better performance in its stock form.
What I do know is that I'm certainly not going for the Golf, just seems like a worse deal all around.

Ferrari bailing out. So it looks like they still don't wanna add Liberty Walk kits/more customization options so Ghost decided to not add Ferraris instead.

I am interested in using the Raptor though. I love using it in Most Wanted 2012 back then and now I can customize in Payback. Could be a good immobilizer for cops.

As for the starter car, I'm tied to either the GNX or S2K as well. I wanna see the amount of customization available for both cars.

I'm really disapointed at the car list, and not because of the variety, but because of the classification... I hate how we're not allowed to have a car with whatever class. Why can't I have an offroad a 918? [Joking aside, this has really put me off purchase now because it's the little things that count...]

I am sad that they didn't brought back the old NSX from NFS2015. I'm gonna miss my RB NSX especially since its the car I used the most on speedlist events. :(

I'm just disappointed that more cars can't be used as runners. Other than that I'm good.

Are we forced to pick ONE of those starter cars or are they our first cars for those particular classes by default?

the old NSX is still there, its just labelled as a Honda than an Acura, the Acura is the new modern one

This is available from November 2nd on EA Access; is there anything stopping me from subscribing for a month, playing my 10 hours, then cancelling? I might use it as a trial to play the game for a bit to see how it is.

Looks like my worry on hypercars having less customization is now gone seeing that the 918 has a decent amount of customization options but I wanna see the customization of McLaren P1, Koenigsegg Regera, AM Vulcan, and Pagani Huayra.

Crosses fingers for a 918 RSR replica.

BTW here's another customization video. This time its from CROWNED and it's a Audi R8.

This video shows that they have increased the resolution of the decals a lot. You can now make them really small without them turning into a pixelated blur.

Looks like my wish has been granted. Car customization on the McLaren P1 and AM Vulcan shown in these videos.

That P1 GTR replica though.

Any information at this point if there will be Ferrari DLCs or is Ferrari completely out?

Did they said something about their DLC plans?

I really like the tuning options, just missing Ferraris and need more Mercs.

Yeah, I am loving all the supercars/hypercars. Previously in NFS titles, it was mostly a no-brainer.. I'd go for the Lambos because they were pretty much top-dogs. This one has so many choices AND with customization... I have no idea what my favorite car will be but I am loving the P1 and the Vulcan!

Here's hoping they include the Liberty Walk kit for the Huracan this time around. That kit takes that car to a whole new level.

I do feel for people who don't like the supercars as much. There definitely needs to be some more lower tiered choices. Hopefully we will get this with additional car packs down the road.

Car list and customization looking really good I think. I would like some DLC down the line though, we could use a few more cars. With off roading and the Raptor, C10, Defender in there it would be nice to have a couple more trucks. Old Bronco and Blazer, something for the Dodge guys. I'd love to have the S14 240sx with the Boss Rocket Bunny kit. An Evo X and an older WRX. And more classic muscle, specifically my "most wanted" a 77-79 Trans Am. :D

Not too far away now!

What do you guys think about them "possibly" removing the width and rake in the stance option? I believe the stretched tire option was also removed. Since the game is due to release soon looks like we are getting a bit less than what they showed. This is from earlier builds compared to recent ones. To a non car guy this is nothing but to those that like to customize to their liking this kinda sucks.

This is probably going to be the same case as the last game where brake caliper and brake pad options were in the E3 build but removed in the final version but brought it back in a update.

But who knows? Maybe Ghost probably removed those options just to do a little tweaking for the rake and width options thus in the version that StraightUpHippo, CROWNED, BlackPanthaa, AR12, etc. is not there.

We can only hope! I've been watching those guys too.

To hear you mention they brought something back in the previous NFS means there is a chance. Being how these people are in this type of car culture then why would something so obvious be left out when they had it right in the first place?

I imagine they've discovered a bug with those options at the last minute and have had to remove them temporarily. They'll probably be back in a future patch (or even a day 1 patch)

I did notice in those videos that the wheel offset automatically changed when widebody kits or flares were added. Personally I don't mind as long as the offset is what I would consider 'perfect,' (flush with the wheel or flare arches). I would be manually changing them to the exact same setting if they didn't automatically change. But I guess maybe there's someone out there who prefers a widebody kit on a car with a narrow stance, I dunno.

One thing I didn't like about 2015 is that the wheels/tires were so narrow and couldn't be changed. It wasn't terribly noticeable because everything was so dark, but in this new game, they better give us the option to increase tire widths, or else make them fat to begin with. It'll look ridiculous to be in a Lambo or anything else for that matter running on bicycle tires. :ill:

I don't mind either if they did it for us and in this case it does seem to look good. Giving us that extra tuning option is better. Or at least have "rake". Some of us don't want it perfectly level. If there are others that don't like it or have different tastes or wants to troll that wouldn't bother me either to allow them to do so. Neons and 24" wheels positive camber etc. The world needs clowns too. The stance feature is what I've been waiting for all these years. I don't know why other games of similar style don't do this. As you can see how some nice cars can look horrible like in Forza because of absolutely horrible fitment. Wide bodykits but still retaining the narrow tires is awful. Bad that you have no power to change it.

I have no idea how 2015 NFS is (besides hearing it wasn't great or memorable) since I haven't hopped on the next gen yet. I am coming back from a long break will have to get this game anyways. I know from previous NFS I had complaints besides physics. Decisions that they made were questionable. Some of the obvious issues they left it as that. But that was a long time ago. This is why I am a bit skeptical. But since you guys are giving me another perspective I am not giving my hopes up.

^^^ I wholeheartedly agree that they should give us the option regardless of what they (or I) personally think looks good. I like the rake feature in 2015 as well, but one thing I didn't like about it is that you can't lower the car all the way without negating the rake.
Ultimately I am all for as many features as they can stuff in the game.

A hypercar doing a wheelie. Where did that come from?
Finally some bit of gameplay and not just customization. Seeing the P1 in Payback reminds me of Rivals.
And about that finding the derelict parts, I see what you did there Ghost. You took inspiration from another game. :sly:
