I have just watched Leftywright69 video on youtube, the coey video at Spa. The same guy who went mad at me for accidentaly making contact in an early practice run.
I know you're saying this tongue in cheek Chaperz, but I wanted to take this time to point out to everyone that we all screw up occasionally. The best real-life drivers screw up occasionally and they're not dealing with Lag problems, the inability to look right or left etc, so it is expected that there will be collisions. We just want the line to be drawn between racing incidents and recklessness. Take responsibility for your own mistakes and try to make wise decisions. Nuff said...

That was wrong.:tdown:A situation to avoid in the future(speccialy in race events...)not so much the mistake itself but the fact of not have waited for the punted racer...identical to London River re race on Sunday...but then again there was a lot of lag involved.

I have a few more questions about using manual gears.
1. I know I have asked this before...but whens the best time to change gears. When the orange indicator goes on or just before the orange indicator goes on.
2.Whats the sequence....brake, gear down or gear down followed by braking. I mean in real life its mostly the former, isnt it ?
3. Are there times when you guys gear down three gears in quick succession. I seem to do that a lot ...and several times i end up in first gear
4. For the guys who use G25 whats the speed sensitivity setting?I did research online but I have to say the EA defenition is very confusing. Also what % do you guys use for accelerator, brake and steering?
Also I have a request for the Outlaw. Mate could you please consider posting a video like the Pagani one but focusing on the steering wheel instead of the pedals. I know I am doing something wrong but I am not quite sure what? I somehow find myself losing control on turns and always end up over adjusting.
Also lastly, I have to say it feels awsome to be part of this amazing group. I enjoy the rants but possibly love even more the anger and arguments that keep flying about. I am just thankful that I am not at the butt end of it at

I could have gone twice as quick but i had just got in from work and was knackered i made a few miner slip ups and it wasn't my best performance, i will have to make a better one when i am more alive

Great video for people on the fence about taking the plunge into the wheel/manual shifting world. I always pictured the manual shifting being much more "forceful". Thanks...

Spaceships don't have gears...
Playing any kind of car racing games with automatic gearbox is as strange to me as for the others that I was playing in 3rd person view... especially when someone has a G25. But see the good part of it darkos, you have a brand new shifter!👍 I think mine will be broken when I'll get my GT5 into my hands..

Right now i am using full manual with paddles, not H shifter. So fracture of a seconds should be gained from that. On Nordschleife maybe a full second.
So wait for new lap times
more impression on the way.-----
Maybe i did couple impressive times but still, Thefast1 wit his manual Clutch is the best 👍

thanks mate i used to shift a bit more harshly but the shifter on the G25 is not the strongest and already the splines that guide the gear stick into the gear slot are becoming worn and i keep shifting into wrong gears so i tend to be a bit more delicate with the shifter untill i get my new G25.

Lefty I'm so sorry how I went off on one at you regarding our alleged incident.
As I said before on london river I saw a bit of bonnet next to me and your video shows you a few car lengths ahead I can only put this down to lag. I didn't realise anyone else was close to me and they could of taken me out my memory card was full so I'll gues I'll never know.
Anyway it's water under the bridge now for me.
But again I'm sorry mate.
And judging by my list theres a few that won't be racing with us at the weekend due to the DLC.

Sorry guys, just confirmed plans to go away this weekend for the easter holidays. So i am definetley going to miss the saturday races. Hoping to return on sunday for the make up races.

I'm not sure if power5567 will be up and running by this weekend or not (technical difficulties), so I'd be glad to host the races on Saturday in your place Javed.
In fact, I had forgotten entirely that this weekend was Easter (yes, I'm fairly clueless). I wonder if in light of the holiday, we shouldn't push the Exotic Car Weekend back one week and just have an informal bunch of races (no points) this weekend.
As usual I'd like to hear what people think. Push it back a week, or run the races as usual?

Manny congratulations for another wise and enjoyable combination of cars/tracks:tup:
The new tracks and cars are very exciting,but I guess I wont have time to master them until saturday so I'm just hoping to have safe races trying to avoid the armco and blue barriers
As for Siverstone GP it always was one of my favourite tracks(and Manny's and Ricky also-man we have to hook up for a 20 lapper in this combo I know you will love it too:tup: ) and after a 10 lap pratice I just did-I pulled a 1;51,208 lap and was able to finish within 19.01 minutes and was pretty glad with it since if I remember well my best lap with the GTR-VSpec-and its probably a little faster- was 1;50,xx althought I'm pretty sure that some of the new wolves on the pack will be doing a lot better-I can say that the BMW M1 Pro Car,after a very short engagement, is now my favourite best car in this game: Classic,Good looking,Smooth,Enjoyable and with great Character.
Either way is fine by me althought I'm pretty sure that Sunday will be a total impossibity for me-Familie duties-so no re races for me if DC(=Disconnections) surprise me as usual lately...
Probably sticking to schedulle pratices eventualy keeping the same groups would give one more week to the still reluctante members of the league-read my post in the DLC thread might help you decide-in adquiring the exotic DLC.

hm.. there always have to be someone last on races, and I've got an idea who will it be.. me! But good in the bad: You'll see everybody in my videos because this time I won't be in the first few places, my last videos were boring..
Anyway, It's ok for me to host, I'll check everybody to be on my friend's list guys!

I know it was almost rude not responding to your advice and comments. Its just that I was really struggling for time the last few days.
Nevertheless, I did use the last hour reading and watching all that you guys had to say/show. Thank you so very much for going out of the way to explain stuff to me. Definitely taking your comments on board Miguel, love the drawing you made Jay and really appreciate making a video you mad man outlaw.
And Jay I have seen you several times adjust your line in my rear view mirror....you are really good at changing your line. Theoretically your drawing makes a lot of sense but implementing it is an entirely different thing. I guess thats where skill and practice comes in.
And Outlaw...you make the whole thing look dead easy!!!
Oh and Manny! My vote it to push it to next weekend. Anyways whatever is decided I would still try to come online on sunday and catch up on some laps.

Ohhhh I dont look good in that GT Spa race do I! I did take it wide...I did cut in without much thought . Actually I did put a split second thought in to it....I was trying to get away from someone because I was mad at this driver for pushing me off the track in the previous race. I know it wasn't good sportsmanship on my part and I apologise to Lefty
If it makes you feel any better I did mention this to Manny via PM and asked to transfer my points to anyone who complains about my behaviour in this particular race.

I vote to push it to next week my Yamaha build and my rebuild of my car is really taken my time up so an extra week could give me just the right amount of time to at least finish my Yamaha as long as I manage to find a new front wheel spindle that is. 👎.
Nice line up manny but were is the CRAZY GUMPERT APOLLO I really love how much of a hand full that car is to drive its like the zonda it gives me no pleasure if isn't trying to kill me,I have no idea why I am attracted to cars like this maybe there is somthing wrong with me
Hey lefty i just watched your video and i dont think it was sharkys fault in the beginning scene, he went wide you went narrow you were clearly out of his vision, I am really good at noticing my surrounding and I sure as hell would not have known you were there, really you should have held back and waited.
Or do what I do with addictions, if I am behind him and go out of his vision I swing my car behind his this way he knows were I am and can then make his move.
And if I pass him I most of the time sweep in front of his car instaed of stying at the side of him its this kind of thinking that has made for some epic races between me and addiction everything from drifting side ways inches away from each other to driving through section side by side.
