addictions how do I connect the PS3 to the surround sound. I have a Blue Ray with all the little speakers and long ones, little fat ones and a big box but cant get it to work with the PS3. Any help will be appreciated...thanks

Hey man it depends on the inputs your blue ray has I'm guesing its a blue ray player though I can't imagine why when your PS3 has one built in perhaps you perchased it before PS3 or it was a speaker blue ray package.
Anyway the best/easiest way would be an optical cable from PS3 to blue ray next option would be HDMI cable. If it's a blue ray player or a AVR unit you will need to select the source that the cable is pluged into ( aux input).
Also on PS3 goto sound settings and select optical or HDMI and follow the on screen promts.
To give more information I would need make and model of your blue ray.

I've made the decision to postpone this weekend's races for one week due to the upcoming Easter Holiday. Several have contacted me privately saying that for family reasons they can't make it, so instead of making people miss a week I thought it best to just push it back.

For those that still want to race we can put together something informal on Saturday and just enjoy the racing. :)
 
That cool with me will give me some time on SCC. I will be on this weekend anyway to join you guys.
Gives the guys that haven't got the DLC to get it if there going too.
 
Thanks addictions I will see what I can do and get back to you. As you can gather I am not good with wires and cables...there are days I struggle to tie my shoe laces

This weeks races really had me missing the league. I'll be a little rusty but I'm in for Saturday since it's informal :)

May I ask who will join the "informal" races on saturday?

I ask it because if there will be just 2 or 3 of us, maybe I'll try to organize an endurance run.. If there will be more, it's better to me to run with you guys!!

PS: I cant find any of the smiles... it's just for me or for you too?

I've just asked about the number of the drivers of this informal race because this...
I just make the endurance races if there's not much participant here..

(If I have to, count with an endurance with the BMW M1 in Manufacturer lobby on Nordschleife about 5 laps. After this we will go in Mixed Lobby with some Japanese RWD car under 14:00 rating on SPA 15-20 laps. I don't know it yet. I'll post it in the "Endurance threat" if there's any interest for it.)

That Sterling Moss is a very enjoyable car once you get the hang of it.

Just as a suggestion, since even informal races have to be somewhat organised, how about we run 15 Laps at Spa (sorry SteveO) in the Sterling Moss. That should take about 30 minutes or so. Then take a 10 minute break.

Afterwards we do a 15 Lap race at the Casino Riviera circuit in the Alfa 8C.

I'd like to get us all into one lobby if that's possible. If not we can split up.

Oh I just had a thought... does anyone know how the Team thing works? I've never tried it, but maybe we could split up into Red and Blue teams just to make things a bit different...

Is there any interest in that? I really don't care particularly what tracks/cars we do, and maybe those long races would be more painful to SteveO so shorter races would be fine with me.

I like the idea of the team thing though. It means that even those without a realistic chance of winning the race can effect the outcome.

I wasn’t looking for any thing like post #468 but WOW. I know that race was mostly a battle for who didn’t want to come in last. LOL……. Mostly it was a stress filled trade off for last place between 3 BLOKEzzzzz……. LOL……… :) You’re a “ GREAT SPORTSMAN “……..Lefty………

Are you planning to race those races instead of League races ? If you will invite then i would be happy to race in some clean environment.

Well, I'm fine with doing shorter Team races with short breaks in between... so let's say...

  1. Sterling Moss SLR @ Spa 8 Laps
  2. Alpha Romeo 8C @ Casino Riviera 8 Laps
  3. Gumpert Apollo @ Laguna Seca 8 Laps
  4. BMW M1 Procar @ London River 10 Laps
It may happen that having too many in one lobby will mess things up, but I'd like to give it a try and see if it works.
We'll also make one Chat Room so everyone can communicate if we need to split into two lobbies.

Sound reasonable to everyone?
