Manny quite looking forward to these friendly competitions. Will be on about 11 for a mess about.
 
I'm PS3 dead in the water ( FN online update from SONY ) they take 4 FN ever :(

I found a new use for force feedback ( It tells you when the update is done downloading ) LOL

Well manny the other day I was surprised when arvore ran a lobby we had at least 8 of use and yes the was slow down but it was nothing like the old days when we all started to race together back then we may as well gone round in slow motion with all the frame rate issues.

I like a more packed grid I love stating at the back of the grid so I have to battle my way to the front of the pack but its not all that much fun when there is only 4 or 5 of us but with a full grid everything is so tight and packed close together it really does bring a hole new element to the fun I love it so if we could get 1 lobby it will be fantastic.

I also advise to all the freash newbies and the semi experienced newbies that you all take this chance to get acquainted with the people you have not raced yet, take this chance to get up close with them and get used to there driving style as there is no pressure to win you can afford to chill out and have fun becase at the end of the day the better you know a driver the better you can race him/her and that applies in real life or in the gaming world.
 
Wise words of wisdom fasty even though this is going to be a friendly sessions I have some tictacs I mean tactics so I hope we fall in the same team for some fun and side by side racing/drifting.

yea me to were getting pritty handy with the side by side action i would practice tonight but work and my tzr have got me knackered bin holding up engines all day my arms are killing me lol.
 
Ye I wont be on long was at work at 2am so need to plug my self into the charger.
It's been tough back at work my neck and shoulder still aint right and I'm still feeling pain.
Hope the TZR about done can't wait to see the finished result.

yea you best take it easy mate work will not be helping your recovery and yea its pritty close not to far off at all here is a pic of the paint job on the frame.

Its fluorescent orange so when car headlights catch it the orange glows a very deep colour but then goes back to a dark orange when out of the light.

i am pritty happy with the results it looks even better than the pic in real life and the tank is just a test fit to make sure it all lined up.
 
I won't be racing this weekend, I tried a few of the races and to tell you the truth I just ain't up to it, after four laps my left arm aches like hell and I think I need more time,sorry guys because I would love to race this season, Manny as done a great job again in track/car combos :) nice one mate :)

No worries SteveO. I still cringe when I think how you broke it. (picture Ouch icon here) When your wing is sufficiently mended I will definately seek you out and let you thrash me at Laguna Seca just like old times. (picture Laughing icon here).

By the way... did someone forget to pay the monthly on the Smilies or what? This one looks like a posessed infant.

Lefty, I wouldn't like to argue with You, but I saw your video and I really don't understand. http://www.youtube.com/user/LeftyWright69#p/a/u/1/mPcHQDaN2FU (at 46sec) When should I have let You go, dear Lefty? I was continually in front of You (look at the upper left corner on screen), I didn't see You and I was on internal line. Maybe there wasn't any contact. It wasn't my mistake that's for sure. Then I wasn't parking because of this. However You had two intresting resets (1st video at 6:07, 2nd video at 4:35). Just I wrote this, because You (and Addictions) said I cheated. I paid attention to the capital letters:tup:

Well, I'm fine with doing shorter Team races with short breaks in between... so let's say...

  1. Sterling Moss SLR @ Spa 8 Laps
  2. Alpha Romeo 8C @ Casino Riviera 8 Laps
  3. Gumpert Apollo @ Laguna Seca 8 Laps
  4. BMW M1 Procar @ London River 10 Laps
It may happen that having too many in one lobby will mess things up, but I'd like to give it a try and see if it works.
We'll also make one Chat Room so everyone can communicate if we need to split into two lobbies.

Sound reasonable to everyone?

I don't really know how many of us there will be. I like to get everyone in one lobby if possible, so if there is a space available I have no problem inviting you.

In theory, how many are supposed to be able to race in one lobby? Is it 10 or 12?

Yes, it did start out that way... then the US moved their clocks ahead for Daylight Savings Time followed a few weeks later by the UK. Personally I think it works out better doing it at the later time because there seem to be fewer people online at the later hour so we seem to get fewer disconnections. I'm sure it's rather inconvenient for you guys in Eastern Europe to do it that late, so I'm sorry about that.
 
Apparently 12 people can race in the same lobby. Whether it is actually possible with no lag is questionable.
