To save having to read thru 360 posts (of which I have not time to be doing) - can anyone help re: Hong Kong (race #3)??
I'm using the carbon/black Nissan R92CP with no oil change, no turbos etc. Runs for 100pts against a line-up of Sauber C9, R89CP, R390 GT1, Gillet Vertigo and Toyota GT-One.
Managed to qualify on R3's and get pole by about 2secs over the C9, switched to R1's, but the C9 got past after 2 laps, and quickly set about demolishing me. By lap 8 he was +22secs, nearly enough for a pit-stop (which I was counting on to take the lead, as per the first two races). I gave up when a handling quirk sent my car spearing into a wall, thus removing any remaining chances of winning. Note: I fully intend to fix said handling quirk.
Question is - does anyone know what laps they pit; and would I be better off using R3's, going faster around the track and pitting myself, or going slower than the AI on harder tyres, and hoping I can hold on?
