need help GT World Championship

Not that i do not like mercedes... i like it. But i wont stress myself trying to get 11o% of the CLK Mercedes. This mercedes can outrun Gillet, Nismos, Mazdas RAce Cars etc. But dude, you are spending too much TIME loving this mercedes trying to outrun LM´s. Life is beautiful.

Maybe i will buy it again to run 24hrs La sArthe. Looks like this car was made for this track! But for short tracks and long turn tracks like Tokyo Route.... sucks!

Try the Xanavi Nismo! Amazing... put some 600 HP and enjoy it!! I´ll try... but i think with this car i can win Professional RAce against the LM´s.

Spending too much time? Naah, the only 'practice' I did was racing Super Speedway and Hong Kong once. After I knew it was beatable I immediately did the cup, so I had more than enough time left to be 'living'

Btw: You are saying that the long straights are killing the CLK...I was able to put a gap on these straights, just by turning slow in - fast out.

If you're asking which is better for this series I'd have to answer that they're BOTH Overkill! You'll need to drop down a class (JGTC will work) to find Ten good races here. (Well, Nine anyway...the Lack of DF really hurts at Super Speedway! )...O.G.

drivin wise the R8 kicks ass but the 787B makes a nice noise and is totally mental!!

THANX Again! I think I used the Stage 3 Turbo. If I remember HP was around 446. The series could be won with less HP if more Downforce was available.

IMHO "PD" has really screwed up the Downforce in GT4! The JGTC Rides have LESS than the LMP Rides which have LESS than the FORMULA GT Ride! Most disappointing of all are the Gillet Vertigo & Tommy Kiara ZZII! "Super" Rides in GT3 but the downforce has been reduced to where they're nearly NO Fun at all to drive in GT4!...O.G.

Thanks, I'll have to try it out. My run with the Merc EvoII didn't turn the way I had hoped. I won the championship but by only 6 or so points.

Took Paris by a landslide 8 sec or better (stock)
Tokyo lost the lead in the long left couldn't catchup (stock)
Deep Forest other landslide 10 sec or better (stock)
Seoul lost lead on last lap (stock)
Hong kong lost lead on last lap (stock)
Test course even with stage 3 turbo, dropped to the floor, min downforce, couldn't catch the Ford GT (didn't qualify)
Beginner course Bspec'd it and he had a 1.??? lead going into final turn and lost control, lost by .2?? sec (stg3)
LeSarthe didn't qualify got up to 3rd closing on the Jag, catching the GT was an impossibility even with the (stg3), then dove in the sand to finish 3rd
Took El Capitan by 10+ sec (stg3)
I rule Cote DeZur so 15+ sec lead. (stock)
Merc handles well, good grip, but tops out at 185 with stg3 so on the open tracks I just couldn't compete with the Ford. I would make up time in curves but loose 1.5 what I made up in long straights

Oh yes, I loved the Vertigo in GT3, but now it's all messed up. Your right, downforce on LM's and JGTC's is drastically different than GT3.

i used the R8 with the stage 3 and 4 turbos after i got mad at the old jaguar sb jr thing wasnt working. i only have to do 3 races because i didnt win them, but ill try that when i get an f1 car

I just bought the black used 787B on day 694 and flew through GT Champ on R1 tires/no tuning, can probably use R2 front without them turning red.

Check if any single race might be a bronze, thay can look a bit like gold.

I'm like only at about 20.8% but I got the game the day after it came out "23"( I'm very slow at it. But I'm sure its all gold since the bronze trophys look like they're PINK!!

I used the Nissan Motul Pitwork Z. I don't really pay attention to the A-Spec points but it seemed to give me 75+ each time. Seoul was 84, I do remember that.

More people already ripped PD, so why follow suit?

From what I once read, if you win all the individual races but not a championship series, you can still win the car. But if you ask me, I'd race the Championship first. Whatever I don't win, I'll work on it in the future. As far as I am concerned, I'm proud to say I've won the Suzuka race long ago. Remember, if you can't win with a good car, you can always win on strategy. But if you're desperate, a good car plus great strategy leads to a great win.

I have completed 4 races in the GTWC with a stock Minolta and so far it has not been hard at all (with HARD tyres). I pit once on each of the 4 tracks. I tried the MERC GTR Race Car, I won the 1st race but it seemed to be a hard slog to win. I might try it later just to get the most A-spec points that I can.

The JAG car you win when you complete 50% of the game I also tried. I upgarded the turbo to level 3, added HARD tyres & won the first few races easily, but I found the Minolta easier to handle/drive. I'll try other cars eventually (like the R8, Sauber) as I am really enjoying this series. I can't see how people can have troubles with this series, just select one of these cars and your set.

Don't mod your car by increasing horsepower(assuming you've got a GT-one or something like that) or even encourage others.

If you can't win without a horsepower advantage over the other cars then you don't deserve to win.

i forget where i read it, but this solution worked for me

go to the endurance races and do the el captain 200 miles race..i think i used my toyota gt one LMP car. anyways, after you win that, you get the TOYOYTA 88C-V Race Car (MINOLTA) '89...drop in a stage 4 turbo and you're on your way to victory!

i useed that car and i did not put any mods on it and i still win with it
