I've been thinking about changing the fuel depletion setting from 5, to 2 or 3. In theory this should make the tyre strategy more open, as fuel won't be too limiting of a factor. I'd like to get your thoughts on this, and whether you would be 'for' or 'against' this change

That’s your call, but whatever you feel would make strategy play the biggest part I’d recommend going with.

I did a quick test this evening with the lobby settings using ss tyres and ran out of fuel with the tyres around half worn, so I would agree reducing the consumption would open up more strategies

I feel for 5x lmp1 is at an interesting limit atm or at least the Nissan is. And I wish I could run SS tyres, tried them and they lasted less than 5 minutes :/

So what we could do is run 5x for LMP and 3x for GT3 at Lago Maggiore. Based on our findings we can make a final decision. Sound good?

After many months of preparation, I am pleased to say once again...
It's raceday!

As confirmation, the GT3 race will have a 3x fuel depletion and the LMP race will stay at the usual 5x. Based on how the preview races go, I will edit the original post containing that setting accordingly, and will inform our website admin of the change too.

This is @PSN offapple from NES TV, signing back in!

Agreed made us both be very very fuel conscious, didn't have the fastest car by a long way but still happy with the strategy, shoulda stayed that lap longer on my first stint woulda made life a lot easier but that's what a prologue/ preview is for.

Also NISSAN BULLET FTW

Based on the feedback and races today, the fuel depletion for the GT3 race will be permanently changed from 5x to 3x. The LMP fuel depletion will remain at 5x

My apologies for the confusion with time zones during Sunday. Apparently GMT and BST are different things. We will be using BST as our standard time from now on.

For anyone still confused, this post was made at 2:00AM BST. You "should" be able to check this post at the top to see when it was posted in your time zone. You can work out how ahead/behind you are in relation to BST by comparing the 2.

Hope this helps.

No it's not too late. Just wondering why you have 2 racing numbers. Is #10 your primary choice, and #82 your second choice if #10 is taken? Or did you plan on signing up a teammate with the other number?

Entering alone. Yes they were preferences on the number I can have based on whats available.

Idk if I'm gonna be able to make the first round, grandparents 50th anniversary so 3 line whip on that, so don't hold your breath if the Blue Bullet isn't around D:

Hey, don't worry about it. I'm just glad that you've told me in advance. Hope you and your family have a nice time!

Ok. I'm a bit stumped by this, so I require your input on the matter.

Those of you who attended the preview event will remember that the grids weren't working correctly using the 'fastest first' setting, so I had to organize the grid manually based on what we remembered. I believe that this may have had something to do with people going back to the lobby menu after setting their time. Obviously it would be an awful delay for me to individually compare lap times and shuffle the grid manually, so I need some suggestions on what to do. Should I force everyone to stay on track during all of the qualifying session, or can I do something else.

Please let me know!
