Ok. I'm a bit stumped by this, so I require your input on the matter.

Those of you who attended the preview event will remember that the grids weren't working correctly using the 'fastest first' setting, so I had to organize the grid manually based on what we remembered. I believe that this may have had something to do with people going back to the lobby menu after setting their time. Obviously it would be an awful delay for me to individually compare lap times and shuffle the grid manually, so I need some suggestions on what to do. Should I force everyone to stay on track during all of the qualifying session, or can I do something else.

Please let me know!
I guess you could try writing down all the names from top to bottom that way it won’t be such a hassle.

I would say: Make everyone park up after sector 1. That way their lap times will count as if they never entered the pits.

Hmmmmm. If someone set a time, exited back to the pits, and went round to the first sector on their outlap, would it still count the time they got before they exited? If so, then that seems like the best and simplest solution.

I believe their time is reinstated after they go through sector one on their outlap
Ok. Good to know. That will be the procedure from now on. Thanks everyone for your advice. Now I 'think' there aren't any other issues regarding the format, procedures, or rules. If anyone finds anything else that needs to be looked into or be improved upon, please let me know! :D

Happy with this, if it was insisting on parc ferme on whatever tyre you qualify on I'd be consistently cucked o.0

It's raceday!
The NES returns to Monza once again for the first round of the season. Points will be available from now on, so bring your A-game (or don't. I don't mind). It's not mandatory, but if you could confirm/deny your attendance it would be useful.

See you on the track! :D

Number 7 is already taken I'm afraid. You can view what numbers are taken on the entry lists found on post #4 of this thread

Then i guess i ll go with #8 and use this livery tonight , if everything is okey can you let me know when im officially approved to the event ?

Could you wait for 3 minutes, on my way home now.

Edit: welp, looks like I'll miss another GT race.

I know I'm not in your league but the fastest first is definitely a bug within the game and just won't work right. You can do host sets the grid and put everyone in their correct spots as this option works great.

Racing is fun but I don't feel like wasting so much time for practising when certain circumstances won't allow me to race.

I doubt if I'll be able to contunue taking part in thr NES. I have spent around 6 hours in total to practise for a race that I:
- missed due to being late (didn't return at home in time) [GT]
- had to retire due to a glorious bug. [LMP]

Racing is fun but I don't feel like wasting so much time for practising when certain circumstances won't allow me to race.
Regarding the Gr.3/GT3 race, it was my fault for not checking GTPlanet just before the scheduled starting time, and for that I can only apologise.

Regarding the Gr.1/LMP race, I'm thinking about bringing the 'compensation points' back from previous seasons for when there's a race ending glitch or disconnection.

Regarding the timetable, I think that things need spacing out a bit to allow for a decent break between race 1 and race 2.

I'd like to get everyone's opinions and suggestions on these subjects, as well as other refinements that you think are necessary.

Thanks to everyone who showed up today. Hope to see you next week! :D

I don't blame you for the GT race.

How about making a rule for a restart? 1 maximum restart to be used per race. The driver affected (ex. me at Monza) must rejoin and reset PS4. If it happens again, then he should back off.

But that's the opinion of a moderator, I'm not the head of the series.

That's definitely a good idea. I just hope that it doesn't happen twice in a row for you like it did during ToCA14. You seem to have the worst luck when it comes to glitches like that.
