New 1.11 Car Prices

So basically there is no way for me to get those 20mil cars unless I get lucky in dailies. There's no way I'm gonna do some glitches or drive against AI which I don't find fun at all.

What I want to know is why they cap the Credits at 20,000,000  It doesn't make any sense. It just seems stupid :dunce:, no other racing game does that, that I know of.

If they're gonna put a price like that up the credit limit to 50,75 or 100 mil instead, so we can buy these cars.

A Shelby Cobra is 2,000,000 but a Jag & Ferrari at 20 mil, yea I know there "race cars" but so is the Cobra.

Do they know how long it takes to get to 20 mil a Real Long Time!!!

So PD Please fix this.

Well it's not like the first time we has 20 million credit cars with a 20 million credit cap before... it was the same in GT5.

Cheers
So let's just be complacent in the things we already have completely ignoring the improvements that have since been discovered? C'mon that's just a fanboy answer and I hate using the word fanboy. There's no reason for the to be a limit at all. The least they could do if they cared about their fans would be to re-calibrate prize money so 20mil is attainable more frequently. But they won't. Because you already bought the game and as far as they're concerned that's good enough. They'll just keep doing what they want to do and hopefully you enjoy it too.

Ummm... it wasn't a "fanboy" answer... It was a statement of fact. That's all I meant by it. Please stop making assumptions.

Cheers

Once again PD delivers what you want.....but doesn't.

Awesome additions but I won't be affording them anytime soon. I got lucky on the spins with the Cobra, my only chance with these is to complete my remaining missions or hope the daily payout comes through. Meanwhile I've got more concept cars than I can shake a stick at.

Back to AC for my 330 needs.

Make them competition cars so people can at least drive them for free and decide if they're worth it for them.

Regarding the 20m limit: when I got over it I "invested" in useless cars to "store" some of the credits over 20m. You can sell them again, but IIRC you lose 2/3 of the credits you invested. I got a bunch of Aston Martin Vulcans stored away for that and looks like some of them I will have to put to good use now...
I wonder if there is any better way than buying cars and then selling them at 1/3 the price when you get over 20m.
Anyone have a better strategy for that?

Thats exactly the point.. one has to do these "tricks" to get those 20Mil cr cars.. AGAIN DUMB of PD

Really hope to get lucky with the spins. I already have 3 Cobras, all from the daily spin, so who knows :D.

But I really doubt IF I'd manage to harvest 20mil I'd use it all to buy one car. Currently I've got 61hrs in "Time Driven" and my total earnings in the game are just shy of 10mil. Bear in mind though that I've not been using the Nord24H method, and just a handful of KTM in the Premier Lounge. So the majority of my earnings have been through campaign stuff, sport mode races and custom races, so by "normal" ways of earning.

Might need to step up my game in the KTM races and farm them a bit :D

XJ-13 - 20,000,000
330 P4 - 20,000,000
I've got to question the logic of wasting time developing content you aren't going to let virtually anyone experience except by chance. It was one thing in GT6 where it was actually feasible to earn that much in a reasonable amount of time but that's just stupid in Sport.

I just don't understand. When it comes to handling characteristics, they'll gladly sacrifice depth for accessibility but when it comes to content, they'll dedicate development time to the select few players who can accept the grind to earn 20 mil (twice).

XJ-13 daily race will have all of 8 people in it lol
One makes usually provide a car to use, don't they?

I like having something to work towards.

Haven't even been playing that much and sitting on 10+ Mil.
So eventually I'll get them....(or at least one :D)

And lets be honest they are pretty unobtainable in real live as well :P

This 10-pack of cars costs nearly 50% what the entire rest of the car lineup does.

The only way the vast majority of people that play this game will get to drive either the 330 P4 or XJ13 is by prize spins, or if they're part of a daily Sport Mode race.

I'm close to 20mil even after buying the 8 other new cars. 330 P4 or Jag? Not even sure I wanna spend that much on one car.

The Jaguar XJ13 has already been awarded to at least two people today on the first day (including me on my second account).......

No sign of the Ferrari yet......

Its in PD's interest to make these visible but rare due to the media posts it encourages. As GR.X cars they will be One Make races which are usually specially provided cars.....

Pretty sure within a month there will be complaints about duplicates and unable to sell them....given the previous post re 3 Cobras....

Ive had a few that I couldnt do b/c I didn't have the car. ie: the Daihatsu VGT one from the other day.

You dont have to do tricks to purchase cars... you can just play the game and eventually get what you want. If you absolutely must have all of the cars right now then too bad. Some people really just dont know how to enjoy something meant to be enjoyable. Instead they gotta have it right now or else the developer is "dumb"

Then they should make almost all cars 20mill Cr so you can just play the game and eventually get what you want.

"Eventually". There is a limit to how much time I am willing to put towards my hobbies. I would like to have these cars sure, but GT Sport simply isn't enjoyable enough and those cars aren't appealing enough for me to consider dedicating that much of my free time trying to aquire them. I imagine that goes for most people.

I don't need to have those cars but the fact that they spent time putting those into the game instead of other content that we could access in a reasonable amount of time is what bothers me. Or maybe they just don't think my time is that valuable.

I dislike that so many people feel so entitled to have everything right now. My opinion, the Entitled Generation is ruining games by moving developers toward this culture of patching, DLC and microtransactions. Go find someone with an old school NES and see if you can live with Super Mario Bros. or Mega Man. That sense of accomplishment completing a game like that has been gone for many years. Now it's release day patched and adjusting difficulty if people cry about how hard it is.

Sometimes you have to work your 🤬 off to get what you want. If that's not in your DNA or you don't have the time then you'll end up with nothing in the end.

Thanks for making me old.

Me personally, I'm not of the "need everything now" mentality. I just think it's too far out of reach. 10mil would be more reasonable and still take a long time to achieve.

Well it's not like the first time we has 20 million credit cars with a 20 million credit cap before... it was the same in GT5.

Yeah because their long term goal was to implement micro transactions, paying real money for in game currency. Which happened in GT6.

Well. If you, as do others like having something to work torwards how about PDI let you compete in a 10-17 race championship and you win one of these cars? Nah come to think of it that's a totally **** idea. Better stick with the tedious crap old formula.

Edit: What a ridiculous post to make about people being entitled. I'm sure PD sat down at the desk and came up with a great new fun way to fun way to unlike these cars and Kaz said hang on let's not be so hastey, **** the entitled generation! Lets just give them the old crappy non logical, non fun, coma inducing chore like way of obtaining these cars.

Now it's you drive 25 miles and get a free car  no feeling of accomplishment at all. I miss those long endurance races and that was the only way to get one rare car.
