New DLC Free Car and Update 2.02

Exactly.

I'm not going to buy this....thing.
How would you call it? It's not even a car pack, only 2 of them are really NEW. And the free one was announced like 8 months ago.

No Super GT version? I'm insulted. PD are full on japanese cars.......so bring it damnit!!!

That car was unveiled just before the Tokyo Auto Show. Depending on how long it's been finished, PD may not have had enough time to get it completely modeled for this DLC. I would expect it in the next one.

Wait a second guys, why are 2 cars I want in here? Why was Spa in there when I wanted it? Why did I like all the things given to me?

IS POLYPHONY DIGITAL....

santa claus?

I like this DLC, but can you please want the 2012 Shelby GT500 LOL. It seems they are listening to you haha.

This DLC is £2.58 :) Very cheap, and it has 4 decent cars. Even if no one else is, im looking forward to this DLC. Any new DLC car is a bonus.

Oy, I hate that 🤬 word. :yuck:

And I hate it when fanboys try to be "reasonable". There is NO reasonability in saying that the DLC's have been good so far when there have been 2! new tracks and maybe 6! really new cars in OVER A YEAR!

These pople can not expect to be taken seriously.

I think we're forgetting that (paid for) DLC wasn't explicitly planned in the first place. The game wasn't even finished when it was released. DLC came because we asked for it; more DLC is coming after that because we asked for it. That lack of forward planning is self-evident.

EDIT: Where does it say £2.58? The last batch were not sold at exchange rate equivalence, but something closer to PPP with tax adjustment.

Everyone also has to keep in mind that PD/Sony have to pay the manufacturers for the license for each car, some of them more than others. Have to recoup those costs somehow.

I converted it on a converter. Either way, the £3.70 i have will cover it i hope :) but from what i have done its £2.58 :)

By selling AT LEAST 5 million of the next game=more than enough. Also, your argument is totally silly as I was not complaining about the price but about the content itself, which is a joke, and, actually has nothing to with cost as two stupid VW's would cost nothing.

You sir have failed.

Why is the 2012 GT-R Black Edition pictured in blue though?

I disagree, as I was trying to bring up another point, and it wasn't a direct response to your quote. Sorry if it looked that way.

Finally, a MINI with stripes! Somebody better buy 3 units and paint each of them blue, red and white respectively. Italian Job baby! :D

This could go the other way also. Maybe the ones who are pissed about the DLC/updates all the time are the true "fanboys".

Ridiculous how someone who is generally pleased with something around here gets flamed to no end.

Some Universal one

We always pay "less" if you like. But only the number is less.

That's the exchange rate. The last DLC was £9.49, whilst the equivalent USD price was £7.63 ($11.99, £7.74 today), according to this thread.

Assuming everything's the same (it's not), that leaves us with a probable cost of about £3.21.
It all depends on Sony; well, on a lot of things, including the exchange rate (it's actually slightly "worse" than it was two months ago), PPP-like equivalences (hard to quantify) and tax differences (+ 20%), plus other, non-quantifiable regional differences, and the general aim to charge as much as they think they can get away with.

Wait a sec. I have no problem with people, who are pleased in general with the DLC, but with those, who have to shovel THEIR opinion down MY throat AND of those, who have NOT been pleased with the DLC.

As if I and other non-pleased would be unthankful, greedy, spoiled or unrealistic idiots/brats.

That-is-my-problem.

Quote of the day.

Thank you sir.

About one thing you're right though. I should stop posting. Blind fanyboys stay blind fanboys. Whoever feels adressed by this, feels adressed by this for a reason I guess.

Why do you think the DLC has been bad? I can you you why, it is because YOU do not like it.

I am not a fanboy, as I also play that other game. However, I have enjoyed the first DLC very much. At first glance, the cars offered in this DLC, look underwelming. However, if you take a closer look at the specs for the new cars, they are quite interesting, especially the 2 V-dubs. There has been alot that has changed with the GTR also, not just the power. The Mini is the only one that I don't feel will be a different car than we already have.

If these cars can be RM'd, will people opinion change on them?

It's $4...I have more change than that fall out of my pocket everyday...:sly:

Heck iI need to follow you around and pick up all that falling cash! ha ha just kidding. Ya I will be buying it also. 👍 PD keep up the great work, there are some at least that really do appreciate the continued support of this game and will buy DLC just to show it!

Will 3.70 be enough?
