Actually, my expectations were not set too high. The real car has a unique sound. PD made no attempt to get even close to it.

Your posts are getting even more ridiculous.

The sound isn't copy and pasted from the GT-R as people claim, they're just annoyed that once again they set their expectations too high and a new car doesn't sound like one in real life like on YT videos.

Expecting it to sound something close to real life is not a high expectation. PD are offering a digital representation of car, it's not expecting too much that they at least try to make it sound right. Nobody is asking for perfection but PD haven't even tried.

Abuse? I don't care how hard they work, we are the ones who pay money for this, so we do get room to complain if something's not right. If this DLC were free, then I would agree with you.

Crooky, the real HSV in the video is from 2010, & the GT5 HSV is from 2011. 💡


Also, no one has heard the HSV at full-tilt in GT5. Don't assume.

Sure it isn't a high expectation, but it's PD and it's still GT5 and this is GT5 DLC. Things aren't going to change and you have to accept with GT5 that some cars sound better than others and if some people haven't accepted this yet and haven't lowered their expectations since the release of GT5 then.... erm, okay (oh, and don't buy the DLC).

So what you're saying is we should just accept that PD can't do sound and just let them go on thinking it's ok? Just accept they're never going to get better and accept what they're given? Like someone said earlier, that just makes everyone yes men. Things don't progress with a room full of yes men. PD need to be clear that we won't continue to accept shoddy work and pay them for it.

That's quite disrespectful, the sound may not be spot on but it's probably the closest you will ever get to driving a HSV in terms of physics and visual detail unless GT6 provides a noteworthy improvement.

Once again, just because people want DLC doesn't mean they have to happy with what DLC they are given. I mean if you were really hungry and asked someone for food, complained you didn't have any food then you were given a tin of dog food would you be happy to just have food? I doubt it, you would be disappointed you didn't get something better.

Ofcourse, if it's free who are we to complain, if it isn't it'll at least be a new addition you can choose to buy or not.

As for the HSV sound apparantly not even being close (not perfect is another thing), obviously that's strange even for PD since we didn't receive any DLC for a long while and now were only getting 3 cars, and only one of them being a completely new car.
That's basically only one sound sample they had to pick right (guessing the Subaru sound could be the same as the other BreezeFrees cars, not sure about the GT-R) as it's one of the defining characteristics of this car and already I've read suggestions here of existing ingame sounds which are more obvious (if slightly altered perhaps).
