I was thinking the same thing but for different reason.
Releasing the FR-S will mean that PD has to add a new manufacturer in the "New Car Dealership" while they wouldn't have too with the BR-Z.

Well I guess it's easier to add a logo than to create a new bumper from scratch so... :D
hahaha That's actually true.

Ugh, why the hell would they give us the FR-S instead of the BRZ? The FR-S is literally the same exact thing as the GT86, while the BRZ actually has a different front fascia, different interior, and is slightly less tail-happy than the Toyota variants.

PD, I will never understand most of the decisions you make.

Although I am excited for Twin-Ring Motegi. It's not my favorite track by any means, but it'll do for now.

How do you chose which cars get in the game?

There will be three types: cars we want, the cars the users would like to see in the game and then cars the manufacturers want in it.

Have any manufacturers paid to put their cars in the game?

There have been cases where they've shown that interest [in paying to play], but I don't think we've ever shown interest in [accepting money to include certain cars].

Wouldn't that be a profitable venture for you?

A lot of times it develops into a relationship where we collaborate to raise the level of the game.

I'm a bit disappointed about it only being Twin Ring Motegi and the ONE free car, but oh well. Twin Ring Motegi is such a good track.

I'm sooo excited for this. Twin Ring Motegi!? All four layouts!? O_O I'm so glad still have cash in my PSN account. Day 1 DLC buy yeah! :D:tup:

5€ for Twing Ring Motegi which basically is a HD port from PS2 to PS3 compared to 3,99€ for SPA + Kart Space?

Something is not right, a bit fishy if you ask me.

"That thread" is also in the wrong place as well as being slightly later.

I have no problem with an extra 1 dollar/euro for three extra tracks. Oh I forgot about the little track(s) that came with Spa, so I guess it's more like two extra tracks.

Subaru seems to want a different direction with the BR-Z, compared with Toyota and the 86/FR-S. Perhaps the problem wasn't with PD...

Probably because Motegi will be claimed by PD as 'the track where the 2012 GT Academy winner is determined'

5.00 euros is too much for a track, even with different layouts.

I wont be buying it. Its not a track I would choose to just go and practice or drive on, so I'll just enjoy it when they bring it to the seasonal races, like they did with Spa. No need to buy it but still get to drive it.

In my country with low prices compared to any big country you can't buy a cup a coffee and pack of cigs for that money.

So this is money much better invested.

It says there are two courses on the website, with 4 layouts. I wonder if they mean there will be a weather change version of the course.

Unless you are on the Indian Reservation around here, a pack of cigarettes is past $10. For 1 pack.

The oval and the circuit. Three "different" versions of the circuit.

It's a great track but like some said, €5 for 1 track is way to high. Even with 4 diffrent layouts
And about the, I would prefer the BRZ but hey, It's free.

Greets!

Nice to see the FR-S finally make it into the game. It raises hopes about getting new premium manufacturers in the game finally, unless they're going to put the Scion in the Toyota dealer.

I really don't see how this is worth a Euro more than Spa and two layouts of the Kart Ring, especially when they were brand new tracks to the series, Twin Ring isn't.

Plus as I've already said, it's not like other tracks where the various circuits are massively different. The only different pieces of track across the three road courses are tiny.

See the two grey parts of the track, not the oval? They are the only differing parts of the two tracks from the full track.

Pretty much, I know. Last October I was in London and paying 9 pounds for MLights. It costs less than 3 pounds in Croatia.

Good point! I was thinking exactly the same.

Adding a new manufacturer in the premium dealerships is something "new".

Maybe it's just a test.

+1 to both of you. 👍

I would be very surprised if this had Day/Night and weather, but I'm not getting my hopes up. I can see this being the last bit of DLC though.

I was in USA last summer (my summer, your winter) and that was shocking... good reason to quit smoking  I guess

On Topic: The TRM track is a nice track, but I really hope that DLC include something else (something but a rebadged car).

Hell I remember when a carton was 20 packs for $20. If not cheaper. For Marlboro!

Yeah I really hope so. Five months of waiting and all we get is this?? There has to be something more.

Not getting my hopes up, but this DLC is better than nothing.

So this is money much better invested.

Let's compare it with the previous Spa DLC.

There are 4 layouts of the Motegi (which is featured in GT4), and it costs 5 euros.

Spa-Francorchamps, which is a longer track and has never made any appearance in the GT franchise, costs only 4 euros (along with a weather-change version of it, Kart Space I and II), and is a whole 1 euro less than the Motegi.

So either the Spa DLC Pack is really a bargain, or this DLC Pack is overpriced ;)
