We knew it was coming so great we have conformation. Can't wait to include this in my upcoming mx5 TC event.

I think we will see GT6 on PS3, would follow the same pattern as previous installments. Odd numbers are the "tester" for that platform, evens are tweaked and have a ton more content, as most of the technical work is already done.

Content is not a problem on GT5, but rather the relevance of it. They need to drop the lame excuse of it beign "the real driving simulator" and focus on the racing! It is a racing game, racing is the whole point of the game! They need to focus and build on that. Pairity and balanced performance, go back to the classing system of early titles, with all the cars within a particular class performance balanced at RM base tune.
Anyways, back to topic. Really pleased to see confirmation of Motegi coming to the game, not too happy we have to pay for it but whatever! I'll buy it run it and try to enjoy it.

Where is my beloved Audi R18 e-tron quattro, Toyota TS 030-HYBRID and Nissan Deltawing?

I want those too! Except the Delta Wing thing... But seriously doubt we will see those cars in the game considering they are cars that only came to be a few months ago.

Theres no ways we gonna get gt6 in the next 24 months.
So enjoy the Motegi.

Look at the facts, see my post above. They don't need to build the game from scratch if it's on PS3, just tweak GT5 and add a ton of content. It's a no brainer and a schedule they've stuck with for many years. The very fact they started work on it some time ago when it's unlikely there are PS4 dev kits around yet is just further evidence of this.

Hmmm expensive for a track I think ill just stick to racing it in *****.

Yeah_ If you from Sri Lanka, 5 bucks thats not cheap.
C'mon man. no disrespect to the sri lankese.
There's plenty of variation to the track
and 5$ thats like easy money when I was 12.

Allright,
That would be super cool.
We could argue but it will only put us to the mercy of PD.
Honestly, I've stopped expecting too much from game developers, especially from PD.

> FR-S, I sure hope this comes soon if PD are going to be sticking to their "one model, many variants" mindset

Funny how so many people complain about a lack of DLC, then once they finally get it, they complain some more about how it's not good enough.

You get a new FREE car, and a track with 4 different variations. Who cares if it was in earlier games? You wanted DLC, and you got it

I'm really anxious to see how they fit the Scion in there. Really hoping they add some more dealers.

Totally agree people can't be pleased

You know, maybe this isn't the entire DLC, Twin Ring Motegi is hardly surprising and we did get the Toyota FT-86 for free too coinciding with another DLC pack, so maybe they're holding something back.
If the Scion brand is added to the dealerships (although it could conveniently be added to the Toyota line-up like some of the differently named Mazda's), I'm guessing the game will need an update anyway.

Or they're just 'economic' now considering those 8 or so GT-Academy Nissans will be added soon too.

Welcome to GTP.

New free car?

Let's be honest, you get a new FREE Scion logo slapped on the Toyota 86.

If it's indeed LHD (and not an imaginary Japanese Scion-version), has some different visual customization options (perhaps unlikely) and yes, it's offered for free, then bring it on.
If it's only a different badge, then indeed why bother.

I very much doubt it is all the DLC. Kaz hinted some time back about a premium Toyota Supra and Toyota AE86. Hopefully the diversity of previous DLC is maintained and there is a racecar or two to come such as the Audi e-tron quattro or Toyota TS 030-HYBRID.

Nice summary there my friend.

It's either that or "The Real Ignoring Fans Simulator"

Was there anyone in the DLC wishlist thread that asked for something that follows the "one model, many variants" pattern? :grumpy:

Hopefully I'll wake up in the morning and realise this was a dream... :grumpy:

Let's be honest here- you know why us complainers complain. And we all bought GT5 so we have the right to complain too.

People who complain about the complainers are just about the most annoying bunch on GTPlanet.

Now I'm going to shut up to avoid thread derailment.

They're probably coming in Car Pack 4, its just hasn't been announced yet. :)

HKS racer
Now I'm eagerly waiting for the Suzuki logo, damn, how cool is that!
Toyota 86 with Suzuki logo, wohooo!

:sly:

I was referring to the BR-Z that everyone wants. I'm not sure what you're talking about.

He's basically saying how its the same car with a different Badge while speaking in brat.

Also if anyone actually cared to look at the picture in this article, they would see that it clearly IS Left hand Drive.

Better than nothing. I will buy it, organise a track evening for it and enjoy it from then on.

It's another couple of tracks to drift on, the course pack I have no problem with :)

The GT-86's American twin on the other hand...

New free car?

And it's still a bargain! The actual real Scion owners had to pay a lot of cash for the badge change. :dopey::dopey::dopey:

Plus, it's LHD. It was shown in the different versions of the GT86/FRS video PD did.

I just hope, against better knowledge, the Scion is just the first one which has a Boxer-engine....;)

Nice to see more tracks. It'll give me a reason to stop spending so much time playing that other racing game...

I am a little annoyed with the Scion FR-S though. As of right now, having this car in the game will be completely useless, it's the same damn thing as the Toyota FT86. But, I'm hoping that a car pack will be following this new/old track.
