Not sure if it's been mentioned before, but it seems that the US PSN store is down. Keep getting "Error 80023017" which, with a Google search, yields that the store is down for maintenance. Strong possibility of getting the track and FRS today or tomorrow - fingers crossed!

Still don't understand the one car though...and what about the long awaited NSX? I appreciate getting Mottegi, but without and fresh new cars to enjoy it, it won't last long (IMO).

I'm happy we're getting some fresh content in game.

But the Scion part got me disappointed, yes it is free, but we already have it in game with toyota badges.

I really hope they're holding back the Car Pack 4 and will announce it later. If not is fine as well, new content is always good :)

SCION FR-S yet another fluff regional dupe, same thing different badge...FREE at least they dont have the gaull to charge us for flipping the drivers seat.

Sorry for being so sceptical, but 5 euros for a remastered PS2 track means at least to me that the Scion is been charged anyway. Those old tracks should be given for free. DLC may be a good solution to keep a game fresh with NEW content but making profit with old stuff is not fair at all imho.

I'm off to bed now, if I wake up and see that this FR-S 🤬 is not a dream, I shall be very vocal about it on GTP tomorrow... :P

I apologise in advance ladies and gentlemen.

Yes, FREE. So no reason to be complaining.

8$ US for MOTEGI ALONE? RUFKing me? thats 25% of what i payed for the entire game, and the accumulated costs of DLC almost surpass the cost of game...for 10% more content, argh bitter....

Nobody is forcing you to buy it, so again, no reason to be complaining about it.

I would rather this Scion FR S... never mind :(

If there's no time change/weather for Motegi, I'm not even going to consider buying it.

To all you saying the cars "rebadged" the cars left hand drive and has a few interior changes, how do i know this, Ive been inside both.. the 86 has a nicer interior. But whatever..

Typical response , of course nobody is forcing me, NOT the point...

Its expensive for ONE track...id rather get 5 'remastered' GT4 tracks with Cote D'Azur quality than 'premium', plus the lighting of TRM was nicer in GT4.

I know this sentiment is echoed in the forum : Too expensive for one reworked old track. and i do love Motegi, but its cost does not reflect its relevance or desirability in GT and motorsport...its basically SuperGT and local small time stuff.

Obviously it is the point if you keep bringing it up. You say it's too expensive for what it is, so just don't buy it. Yes, you wanted more tracks. So did everbody else. But you didn't get them. So you either deal with it and buy it, or you don't. Saying 'We should've gotten this instead of that' isn't going to change anything.

LOL at the FR-S, pure laziness on PD's part.

So I'm assuming you could of done a better job?

If we get time/weather change for Motegi.
I'm definitely buying it.

If not, i'll save up for the next dlc cars or track.

The industry has changed, I think we just have to accept. The only way things will go back to how they were is if everyone riots in mass and boycotts consoles etc. Until then this how the industry has evolved, especially with how the economy is.

Why do people keep saying this crap? If people are pissed because they don't get what they want then that is that. People WANT to buy DLC, but not everyone will buy what they don't want. Giving your two cents on what he should buy or not buy is none of your concern. He is stating his disgust and you are being a smart ass. Everyone knows they have the right to buy or not to buy.

Probably not but PD should have.

I've fixed it, you might want to do the same, just in case the mods come strolling through, because the AUP doesn't like that word...

Why didn't the AUP block it? I never knew it to be foul language.

If you've driven Suzuka from GT4 and then compare it to the one in GT5P and GT5, there's a big difference in not only how the track feels (that's mostly from the difference in FFB and physics) but how they look. The fine details in minor elevation- a good example is the slight drop at turn 9 as you head toward the underpass. The same can be said of Tsukuba- there's more details in the track construction.

I don't know if that's because the PS3 allows for better track construction but I don't doubt that PD did more than just reworking the virtual track. I'm pretty sure that on these two tracks, they've re-surveyed the tracks.

That's not to say the amount being charged for DLC is fair. But I think it's somewhat presumptuous to say that Montegi is nothing more than an HD version of what was in GT4.

it's still subpar with other tracks and also way off the real life track. That's why I don't think they visited the circuit again to make the GT5 version; same case with every single real life track besides the known ones (and I'd add fuji and tsukuba to the "premium" list)

After 6 months without dlc something is better than nothing, even with it's essentially a car we already had and an overpriced "standard" track (if it's the exact same as in GT:A)

Because they acy act like HAVE to buy it in order to keep playing the game, then they come here and gripe about not getting what they want like a spoiled child. He says he didn't like the price of the DLC for what it came with so I said he didn't have to buy it. An obvious piece of consumer advice that most people here can't seem to remember.

Probably not but PD should have

Who are you to say that? You people act like PD just doesn't care and half-ass everything they do.

given the resources that PD has...yes.

 Okay, then how about you go down to their offices and show them how it's done. Tell them how you can do better then them at their own job.

I meant Motegi GT5 is revamped, but for the money id rather have 5 Cote D'Azur quality upscales..

Either way NONE of the tracks are laser scanned anyway...so while improvements are a given, true accuracy is questionable...

And yes expressing antipathy is a form of feedback, they dont only listen to the LOVE ITs...
