Hmm, I used to always be happy for DLC but a 6 month wait for one track and another reskinned car, i'm just, I dunno. Meh. I'm getting Forza 4 soon and looking forward to that but I really want GT to retain my interest. The different configurations is no great shakes, IIRC there were 3 in GT4. I guess at least we will presumably get the GTA (reskinned) cars soon, but I don't especially like that colour and am not overly fussed for those models. If only they'd mixed it up with some 60s and 70s models too.

One thing that does puzzle me though, I find it hard to believe that the last 500MB update was just for one track and a handful of reskinned cars, and a few tweaks. I wonder if they are going to release perhaps a new track every month, all of which were in that update? Here's hoping anyway.

In my country with low prices compared to any big country you can't buy a cup a coffee and pack of cigs for that money.

So this is money much better invested.

Trouble is, I won't be smoking any less so it remains an additional purchase and the only thing you can realistically compare the value with is the previous DLC track pack.
And even though it's only 1 Euro more expensive, you could still argue why there's this difference, if only for the sake of consistent pricing.

I guess his point is that they get a brand new, unique model for free. GT fans get a rebadged car with the wheel on the other side. As someone else points out, free or not this is the problem with PD, they bulk up the car list with cars extremely similar to each other.

I don't think this will be a buy for me, the track isn't one of my favourites, and a fiver seems a bit much.

Damn... Such a long wait for a track and a car that was already %90 modeled? Where is the new NSX? Disappointing to say the least. Was hoping that the long wait meant something big was about to happen. Guess they could still have DLC lined up for the coming months, but I wont hold my breath...

I am excited to race on the track though, so that kind of makes up for the lack of new cars. $5(if that's what it is in the US) for a track with four layouts seems like a reasonable price. I think I only have $3 and some change on my PSN account though...

They've been heavily criticised for this practice in the past, seems like they haven't learned anything. Bloating the car list with near duplicates is sneaky and decietful , that they're still at it does not bode well for the next GT.

Oh and 5euro for Motegi + variations is too much for a quick and dirty Hdport. It should be gratis imo, to recognise the patience of GTfans, who have stuck with this game since it's shaky release.

Still think it's a little early for that.

GT6 is vaporware. It's only worth doing if Sony moves to the PS4 and that isn't happening until Xmas 2013 at the earliest. And until Sony issues an SDK no one has the least idea what a new system would be capable of doing.

I look forward to the track but I wish it was sunset like in GT4. Now it visually looks like most other gt tracks. It wouldn't hurt PD to have some variations in weather and time of day (doesn't have to be dynamic) just to make it a bit more refreshing ...

Funny how we all got used to the 5+ year wait, this game is now 18 months old wich in today's gaming scene is considered to be quite old. If we go by this logic we can assume Sony is already pressing for a new release... All I'd like to see is an improved more focused game for GT6...

I think we will see GT6 on PS3, would follow the same pattern as previous installments. Odd numbers are the "tester" for that platform, evens are tweaked and have a ton more content, as most of the technical work is already done.

Nice to see the FR-S finally make it into the game. It raises hopes about getting new premium manufacturers in the game finally, unless they're going to put the Scion in the Toyota dealer.

The idea of adding new manufacturers to the NCD is very exciting 👍

How many are you going to collect of these Roj? :dopey:

Fresh tarmac. Not new, but fresh.

Yes, it's an old circuit, but any track DLC is far preferable to car DLC, in my eyes.

A starving man will eat old food, if he is hungry enough.

Yeah, only sad thing with DLC track is that just a few buys them.
Everytime the track switch to Spa in an online lobby, half the room d/c.
Hope they will make it free access online for the 1st month like they did with SSRX and Spa, at least.

Twin Ring Motegi is great news so I am looking forward to that. The Scion FR-S is ultimately pointless. American gamers will appreciate it which I understand but if it takes a proper DLC slot lets say then I will be pretty peeved.

Where is my beloved Audi R18 e-tron quattro, Toyota TS 030-HYBRID and Nissan Deltawing?
