New GT5 footage of the Toyota-FT-86 Concept

its a smart looking car. 2.0 na boxer with 140bhp, possible upgrade to 160bhp when latest boxer engine comes out.

Its Grand Valley. It runs from the tunnel all the way to the hairpin before the front strait.
They have undoubtably totally remodeled the outskirts of that track tremendously.

That track looks like Eiger to me, like Eiger long.

We already have a lot of hints that the Eiger in GT5P is a shorter version.
The trees, the road textures and the mountains in the background look really like Eiger.

I whas thinking the same thing...👍

spyrrari.

It looked a lot like Grand Valley, but there was one turn at approximately 1:28 that as far as I remember weren't in Grand Valley. And the car looks gorgeous too, especially if you consider it comes from Toyota which has some of the most boring cars out there. Unfortunately I'm in class, so I couldn't hear the sounds.

I'd go for Eiger long version too. Nice to see another driver without a helmet on. Great find, great video. :)

New track looks cool, i like the sunset lighting too, shame we are still yet to see anything at night though. Personally i thought the smoke looked pretty average, i thought i heard this was being improved? I sure hope it is...

For me it's a brand new track. At first I thought it was Grand Valley but I didn't recognized any of the turns in that video, especially the hairpin.

This video made my day! The mountain track looks amazing! This car also looks amazing and the AE86 drifting was really nice!

The sunset and the car lights opened maybe means something!

I was kind of thinking it was Eiger Long also, but the track appears to be at a much lower altitude,
The mountains are much further away. If it was Eiger Long, the snow capped mountains would be up close,
unless this is a very long track. Seems like a new track.

:)

hmmm KY told in interviews that we will have more surprises...i remember that in TT we could coustumise our rider...maybe was this video(omg it looks awesome) a hint on it(sorry for my english is my 3rd language 0o)

that is a sexy car...i hope the production model looks just like that

Mwah, looks like they took a Celica and tried to mix in some Ferrari features (and failed), doesn't appeal to me. I'd love to give it a go though, horrible looks aside I'd imagine it's actually a fun car to drive. :)

The mountains in the background arent Eiger, Münch and Jungfrau (the mountains directly at the Eiger Nordwand track), so lets say your driving up the first, blocked road left, before the hairpins come, then left into a tunnel, up and further away from the track, its possible that you can see a lot of different mountains. It always depends on how they placed the cameras for that video.

Although, i dont state that as a fact, but in my opinion its extremely possible.

1 location: Eiger or Swiss Alps with that mountain road, the Eiger Nordwand track and Swiss Alps Rallye?

Sounds logical and possible to me...

Looks really like a point to point road through the swiss or Italian Alps.
Long openside tunnels, hairpin with stone rail guards and no barriers or advertising alongside. So not a "track". Reminds me the tuscanny road from the Ferrari 458 vid.
Another hint on some world "location" free driving roads?

Whatever it is, be it a point-to-point track in the Eiger region or the longer variant to the Eiger track, it's in that location 👍

Based on the High Alpine road, nice. :)

48 kilometers of pure driving pleasure

That could be, at least now we have something new look forward to.

:)

I agree with the high alpine theory. Almost looks like some mountain roads I have been on in Vermont. That Toyota is certainly unique looking but I guess in a good way. I am also glad to see the AE86. I think what we can all take away from this is that as (at least Japanese) manufacturers reveal new cars they have a very strong chance of appearing in GT5. To me this good news because it means GT5's car library will be pretty up to date as the years pass buy.
